    bit.ly/2CHLudt
This school shooting in Russia as an example of what we in the gun community have been saying for years. Gun laws don't stop criminals from having guns; they prevent good people from having guns.
In Russia, the citizens are not allowed to own handguns; instead, they are allowed to own what they call "Weapons of Limited Destructive Power."
These are non-lethal guns that shoot rubber bullets or blanks. Which against a criminal with a real gun is utterly useless.
Yet, Russia's restrictive gun laws didn't stop this guy from modifying a non-lethal gun that fired blanks and turning it into a real gun to then use it to kill 15 people.
I want you to think about that for a second.
This guy wanted to murder people so badly that he essentially made a gun to get around the strict gun laws in Russia.
You can have all the gun laws you want, people who wish to engage in mass murder will always find a way to do it.
If they know gun laws won't stop shootings, but they always want more gun laws after every shooting, then their justification for more gun laws won't end until there are no more gun rights to take.
When there's another shooting, they'll say, "Well, I guess that didn't work,."
Now, you can do nothing except being a victim to the criminals who never gave up their guns.

@Leonard Wei I was shot down at State level last time. You must register with your county seat first at the court/ sheriff's office. Then it goes to the federal government and pretty much gets a rubber stamp. When I was 17, 1996, my girlfriend and I got arrested. I got a domestic assault. She got assault on officers. The whole dumb thing held as much as my felony. A domestic assault mistormeaner from 1996 was the hair that broke the camels back.
But, with a new sheriff's election coming soon, maybe that will change. I'll still keep trying. It's just frustrating. I taught hunters safety, raised hunting dogs, and was known in hunting circles. My felony had nothing to do with a gun. Yes, it was violent in the eyes of the court. No injuries, and the state of Michigan was the victim in court. It was resistance from law enforcement.
I did my time. I paid my fine. Have a family and full-time job. House. Truck. No debt.
      Thanks for letting me vent.
I think the 2nd Amendment Patriots need to get ahead of the argument and ask it it is easier for felons to get guns!!!!
      That would make a headline

My country, Malaysia has strict gun law, yet we had experience armed communist insurgency, border skirmishes, armed intrusions from Southern Phillippines (Suluk). Most of these happened near civilian population especially rural areas where most of the people are unarmed. Even if there's gun owners or Home Guard, what can a mere single shot 12 gauge shotgun do to fight off armed men with high powered automatics? These civilians had to evacuate most of the time. Not to mention the insurgents even targetting police stations during the Emergency. Imagine your local police station is under siege and another group of armed people enters the neighbourhood, what would you do?

Security guards are great for dealing with children throwing a tantrum, breaking up a fight, and other situations where someone with a uniform that gives them the authority to put hands on is necessary. But in situations like this the uniform is a target, and criminals get the first move.

Only people we have are the officer, Constables and sheriff's stationed at our school, but only for an amount of time each week. Not everyday.
