Its crazy seeing something I witnessed first hand on this channel. This was my company and manager that got shot. And also my other manager who did the return fire that ended the situation. What he said in the video is so true. This is a nice area in Chandler AZ and I never thought something like this would happen here , much less to people I know. I will now carry my gun with my nearly all the time. The feeling of not having it when this fist shots went off was a real eye opener for me.
You think the shooter was a disgruntled former employee? Or a robbery gone bad? All these Amazon, FedEx, and UPS trucks are carrying a lot of valuable and highly pilferable items that could quickly be turned for a criminal profit. Especially this time of year and during a hard recession that's putting people into poverty making them desperate. Add defunding the police to the mix and bail reform turning some truly nasty criminals out of jail w/little to no consequence and it's a recipe for disaster.
lmao, that's literally the farthest from truth it can be. The US society is extremely violent despite being the most armed in the Western world, whereas you have places like Finland, Denmark, Japan, Iceland or New Zealand, all classified in the top 10 safest countries in the world, and all with very strict gun control laws.
One thing I learned after using a firearm in self defense, is that the the person who stops the attack has a good chance of getting persecuted--er--prosecuted by the local DA, while the assailant gets played off as a victim. Would you be willing to do a few pieces on that aspect of self defense? Or maybe follow up on cases like this and show us what happened afterwards?
Problem with that is that it varies state to state. In Az. Often the police will only size the weapon for the duration of the interview, often on scene. Self-defense is encouraged here. Whereas in Cali self defense is frowned on and law requires it to be in last resort.
@@moguaiato5583 Not entirely true re: CA. We actually have the castle doctrine law here. While our gun laws are awful, infringing, jokes, and we are a “duty to retreat” state (as opposed to stand your ground), we do have the right to liquidate a threat with lethal force in our own homes at least, so long as we defenders tell the police (who only come to take a report), “I was in imminent danger of my life”. That’s why I always tell friends and family in CA who are law abiding gun owners - if you use your gun in self-defense, you always are in imminent danger in regards to the law. And if it comes to it, dead men tell no tales.
@@KonaLife all states have some form of castle Doctrine. You see In Az my "castle" is anywhere I'm legally allowed to be, not just my home. We also don't need imminent danger to my life, our standard is just bodily harm to myself or anyone in my area. You see in Cali you will have issues if you shoot a guy who is beating his wife in public, here the law says if I find it necessary to prevent further harm to the victim.
There is insurance you can buy that covers your legal fees in these situations. Not really worth owning a gun without it. The family sues 100% of the time.
@@carlrichter8713 again not in Az. Citizens also have civil protections in our Castle Doctrine. So if a bad guy does bad guy things and gets hurt by myself or even my dog, their family is shit out of luck

Amazon’s metal detectors are intended for when you leave, to prevent theft. I feel incredibly unsafe working there, but nothing else pays quite as well.
Never trade your constitutional rights for company policy. Metal detectors don't stop bullets. It's easy to go anywhere with a firearm unless you're brandishing it & bragging about it.
Just as well would never work at a place that searches me and my belongings upon entry. Not enough push back from the masses have allowed these invasive "policies".
Thanks for these videos. Nowadays, I pretty much carry wherever I go. When I go to the store, my eyes are always looking around in the parking lot going when I go in the store, while I am in the store and in the parking lot when I am leaving. I see too many people on their phones, not paying any attention to their surround or walking down the street with their heads in their phones. The main thing is to be aware of your surroundings and the people around you.
I ignore any sign on a private business that says "no firearms allowed". Grocery stores being the main ones. Only way anyone in there is going to know I'm armed is if some lunatic comes in there and starts shooting up the place.

I work at an Arizona Amazon warehouse and was just put on paid suspension for carrying on facility property for this exact reason. Funny how life works out lol.
Funny thing is the security protocol for all sites is set up to prevent theft. Only Xray/Metal detectors there are, are the ones for when you EXIT the building to make sure employees arent stealing. Anyone with an employee badge can walk in there with whatever they want. The GUN FREE ZONE bs is strictly a visual formality as are the consequences exacted on employees.
Paid suspension? Sounds like vacation days to me. That’s a reward not a punishment other than may be missing out on overtime not making light of it, bro I respect you, those signs don’t mean shit anywhere. Unfortunately, in some states, the no gun signs carry the force of law and others they don’t. everybody reading that should make sure they understand whether or not I know gun sign carries the force of law in your state or the state that you carry in. In states with the sign doesn’t carry the force of law all that they can really do to you is trespass you, and then you have to leave, if you don’t leave, you can be charged which could possibly cause you to lose your permit if you have one. In the states where the no gun sign carries the force of law, you could have problems from the get-go if you get caught carrying. I still would rather have it and not need it.

That's cuz the end justifies the means for the school "authorities". They are more than happy to sacrifice staff and students to push their anti-gun agenda. They don't care about their safety.
I find this interesting as I used to work for Amazon. I'm also a former military analyst. I presented my threat assessment to my AMs and leadership based on my concealed carry experience, only to find myself in an office with HR and LP. One of my leadership I expressed my concern too reported me instead. I gave them my threat analysis and they couldn't have cared less. I even commented to the rent a cop security that Amazon has, and was told that checking for guns wasn't their job. Amazon literally, in my experience, doesn't care what people are bringing into their FCs. They only care about what people are bringing out, and that's where the metal detectors are. I also know that there are guns in their FCs, as I have had co workers admit to it, of forgetting their weapons. Then again, Amazon has done nothing to correct the situation that caused 6-7 people to get killed in a tornado at STL4.
I'm at a DS down in Texas top 10 in volume yet we don't have a single security guard or metal detectors, my pistol holstered in my car is all the protection there is
The warehouse I used to work in had no security and no metal detectors and unlocked doors in a bad neighborhood. Amazon seriously does not care about its employees

I just bought 3 guns in the past 6 months. A pistol, an ak variant, and a .22 rifle. We are in scary times, and its only bound to get scarier. Im getting to the range as much as i can afford. He will not face any criminal charges. Civil lawsuit is a different story. The family of the deceased criminal will likely sue; they always do. Amazon will fire him as well for violating company policy. So there's that. But he's alive and his coworkers are alive, because the good carrying employee stopped the violent criminal.
Seeing this video while I’m sitting in the Amazon parking lot about to clock into work is the exact reason I carry in my vehicle. Amazon doesn’t care about what you bring into the building, only about what your taking out.
A few instances similar to this one, but often with deadly results rather than good press, happened quite often during the late 1970's through the 1980's in Post Offices across the nation. Remember those? That is EXACTLY where the phrase GOING POSTAL came from.

(2) The *lefty* MSM won't give this hero 2 minutes on TV, or 2" in its papers, because "A good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with the gun", which contradicts the mainstream narrative that "ALL GUNS ARE BAD!!"

Colion, thank you for continuing to point out that the feeling safe is nowhere near as important as being safe. Many people feel safe when they are actually in danger, because they are ignorant or unaware. Ignorance is dangerous. Keep up your great work.
Where I work it's a gun free zone and weekly while I'm on lunch chillin in my car I hear gun shots in close proximity. I've reported multiple gun shots to my supervisor and security everytime and I still can't beleive they won't let me carry in the building. One of these days I'm gonna get busted for saving a coworker from a Crack head or something in our building or parking lot and im gonna be super pissed!!!!
This is why I enjoy living in TN (for the most part). I worked at the Nissan plant and they were completely against workers having firearms in their vehicles. They fell back on that Nissan property was international land (had to abide by customs laws). TN came back and said that their parking lot does not override the states concealed/lawful carry laws.
I used to work at SlaveAzon for almost 8 years. They USED to have metal detectors going in and out. They removed the incoming detector, but kept the outbound detector. I asked safety why they did that. Her response was because it takes too long to get through. I responded, "you know shooters don't care about getting out after they've shot up the warehouse". The crowd cheered to my response
Last time I knew AZ had a “parking lot law”. You can have a gun in your car at your employer as long as it’s out of sight unless the site provides a secure parking lot with fences and security.

I worked construction where I'm driving through multiple check points with security guards checking vehicles and people and there's no gun signs at every single check point I carried a gun on me every single day because I knew for a fact that if I had a gun every day lots of others had them as well. Luckily these days I'm not working like that anymore and my boss wants us to carry if we can because we're all over the place working in bad neighborhoods and dealing with lots of people. But I'd be willing to bet this story goes nowhere because this is the 1st I've heard if it.
I work in various manufacturing facilities, and most have a ban on weapons. Any given day I may have 2 to 4 firearms in my worktruck. If I get fired, I can have another job in an hour, but I can't replace my life.

Was the good manager fired from Amazon for violating their no gun policy?
Yet again criminals don't read signs.

“An armed society is a polite society.”
- Robert A. Heinlein
Best science fiction author ever. Grounded in REAL LIFE.
lmao, that's literally the farthest from truth it can be.

Use this video as token

One facility I work at says in case of a mass shooting everyone should assemble in the middle of the building. lol it's like the worst policy
