Seeing all those people complain about how hard the game is kinda makes me feel good about completing all game modes on the highest difficulty back when I was a teen with very limited access to the Internet lol I pretty much blazed through it but I was a huge enthusiast of high speed games like the previous f-zero games, extreme-g and star wars episode 1 racer, the faster the better!
Great tutorial. I love this game but trying to get everything done requires patience, time and effort. Although the game is worth all that and more, it's still very challenging for an ultra casual like myself xD
This chapter 5 took way too long and too much energy and concentration for me. You have to get an absolute perfect run without hitting any kind of walls. If you hit the boost pads by 4 seconds remaining, this is your chance. Try shifting sideways with L or R without touching the control stick. This might help you alot.
The best strat is to just memorize the wall patterns and determine the appropriate angle to turn your machine in order to speed through each of the doors. Also, you have enough room to miss one capsule, but that’s ONLY if you don’t even so much as lightly tap an obstacle. If you do hit an obstacle, restart, as your run is over.

I completed all the chapters 14 years ago, less the chapter 5 in very hard; I needed to learn all the obstacles, moves of the opponents, etc......to complete them....they were a lot of weeks of practice
Pedofilio Cñerinson it took me a week to beat very hard mode, super dreadful and relentless A.I, it’s just practice,memorizing and boosting at the right time. Basically you gotta study the game constantly.
I've somehow beaten it on Hard on my first try, and then Very Hard took around 20 minutes to do. But then it took _forever_ for me to win on Normal, because I was still new at the game and I was doing it the wrong way, trying to stay ahead of Goroh the entire time, when you're supposed to save the boost until near the end so he doesn't rubberband the shit out of you...
@@NessBrawl64 It's hard to believe that someone would beat the first level on very hard in 20 minutes, especially if you were still a new in the game. Maybe you are a prodigy of some kind. For me it's been hours and still counting. Anyways, congrats man.
@@Dalmzane Nah, I meant Chapter 2, and I did it on Normal months ago (if not last year) and the other two difficulties earlier today. Chapter 1 legit took me a while on Very Hard, I think it was about 2-3 hours. Not looking forward to 5 and 7

I did chapter 1 normal-very hard in a single afternoon but that’s only cause I wanted rainbow phoenix I did all the cups in master as well

Chapter 2 on very hard is kind of a joke, and i'm not even that great at this game, literally took me less than 15 minutes to beat.
Two hours trying and i cant beat chapter 1 very hard
