The end of Killpop is a Top 3 Slipknot moment for me. I could listen to the solo and ending repeatedly for a while. The energy of it is outstanding.

Hell yeah one of my favorites. Interestingly enough it's not about a woman or a person really, Corey is talking about the music business in this song and it hits a little diff. But it still works as a bitter relationship song in general. It is also sometimes considered as Vermilion Vol.3! because of it's tone sounding very close to those songs.
I don't think it in any way sounds like Vermilion
It's considered Vermillion Part 3 by people who don't know what they're talking about.
Oh this song is slower and it mentions a "she" it MUST be connected to Vermillion somehow!!
@@Xeroforte I'm not someone who considers it a part 3. I do however get reminded of Vermillion when Killpop plays. It is not just tiny superficial things either. The tone of Corey's Voice is similar because it is a similar emotion being expressed. I have that in my comment because i have seen the opinion around ever since the song came out.

@@satanictaffy Must correct myself that it's more Vermillion 2 that makes me think of Killpop than Vermillion 1 but usually I would listen to 1 then 2.
Maggot since '99 and I fucking love this song! If you really want a different sound from them, check out their song "Spiders". It has a dark hip-hop sound to it.

I've been listening to slipknot damn near since the beginning for 21 years and I think that slipknot stands out from the rest because of the two different aspects of their music. Their heavy in your face songs allow you to let out your aggression and anger in a healthy manner while the more melodic songs allow to go to a place in your mind where you can reflect on things that may be bothering you.
Love the reaction, this song is one of my favorite slower Slipknot songs. I really enjoy your reactions, thanks for giving the maggots something to look forward to on Saturdays!

This is one of my favorite songs by slipknot. Mainly because Jay Weinberg kills it!
I really don’t get why ppl hate on this song. I love it! It reminds me a lot of songs like vermillion pt 1 & 2, snuff, if rain is what you want and even wait and bleed to some extent. They always have these slower, sensual, almost creepy sounding songs on almost all of their albums. I love the beat, the guitar, the drums and Corey’s melodic voice is totally mesmerizing. I think this song is sexy as hell!
It’s because of the clean vocals, typical metalheads don’t really dig clean vocals y’know unless, you’re in the metalcore sub genre . But I agree, this song is fucking sexy

I’m a diehard Slipknot fan and I absolutely love this song
I heard them for the first time when I was 11. My brother had their first album when it first came out as soon as I heard the “the whole thing I think is sic.” Being repeated over that eerie mechanical sound over and over and the it went into “sic.” I was like holy shit!!!!!! What is this???? Been a fan ever since. With all that said though, this song is one of my favorites idk why it gets so much hate. 🤷🏻♂️

Live shows are some of the most missed times of mine man, and one of the best live bands I've ever had the pleasure of going to was a Sevendust show. Everytime....they never disappoint and that was still true at Woodstock 99 when Sevendust performed "Rumblefish". I wanna share this moment with you man, check it out, I wanna see your reaction cause I know you're gonna love it man. Hands down.

I LOVE how they contrasted the melody style with the hard core. It makes the two more potent, and drives home of how effective they can harmonize the two even though they may be on complete opposite sides of the spectrum.

I love that you react to Slipknot. They are my favorite band for a handful of reasons. I am going to suggest that you should do a reaction to the band Stone Sour.
Stone Sour and Slipknot have the same lead singer, Corey Taylor, they just have different sounds from each other. Slipknot is a heavy metal band; Stone Sour is a hard rock band.
I suggest Love Gun, Bother, or Gone Sovereign and Absolute Zero (the last two songs suggested go together)

You should do Spiders is a unique sounding song i really like of there last album i really loved killpop i like when slipknot takes that different approach on songs

I can understand why some maggots don't really care for this song I however love it! The lyrics are awesome music is beautiful it's just kick ass!
Check out some more from this album dedicated to their late bass player, Paul Gray. “If Rain is What You Want” and “Goodbye”. I like their heavier songs, always have but these are a couple less heavy songs I think you’d enjoy.

Yeah finally! I love this song, it means very much to me personally, make sure to check out the music video. I love it when artists can offer several sounds, that is only interesting for me as a listener. If you want to listen to an another Slipknot song with different sound, I would recommend Spiders. Also, your Slipknot reactions are the best man, I recommend checking out their song Surfacing. I would love to see you react to some Rammstein songs, for example Ich will, Mein Herz brennt, Engel and Deutschland.
