You are using a bead on the hook. Can you tell me what size, type,material it is. I'd already bought some of these 'tails' thinking I could make a fly from them, then I found your video. It seems a good option. Nice video.

It's a 5.5.5mm tungsten bead. Thank you. These fish really well for Perch.

Thanks for the reply. I'll get hold of some. If it works for Perch I might try a scaled up version with the large tails for Pike, may need to cut the large tail down a bit. I think a red tail and black zonker with red and gold flash might be an interesting alternative. @@MussellwhitesFlies
