I love how Yuki Kajiura used a recurring theme from the BGM in the 1st episode of Kara no Kyoukai and expanded it into an ending song for the 7th episode, bringing the story line for Shiki and Mikiya to a full circle. Simply genius!
Ever since the beginning Kajiura said that she intended to make Shiki's Theme (in the garden of sinners) a full song for the 7th movie. Truly it doesn't disappoint because Shiki's Theme is still the best character theme Kajiura has ever done.
For the battle theme, has to look to Mujun Rasen. Its use is super perfect for that film, and the timing is pitch perfect. The slower Shiki theme is best used in Movie 7 I guess, especially how they totally refrained from playing it until near the end of the film, and then expanded it into a full-fledged ED song.
She did similar technique in .hack//sign OST the world and fake wings in their composite parts appear broken through out the show and soundtrack until it's complete reprisal later in relevant scenes, and I have heard her speak in heard her speak in interviews where she states her intension to work the story into her music so that it can properly accompany the narrative. It's under rated, under stated and immensely powerful.

I love the harmony between the three here, their voices just can't decribe it. It gave me chill in neck and tugged at my heart, unlike other kalafina's song, okay, perhaps aria and lacrimosa did the same. But i think this is one of kalafina's best 5.
First time I listened to this song, I was not satisfied with it. I thought it lacked something other Kalafina songs have. After I watched, Kara no kyoukai, this song became very special to me. Yuki Kajiura is an amazing artist and I love Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru. I wish all of them luck in their future career
Its not often heros/heroines get a happy ending through their tragic stories and endeavors but i was glad Shiki Ryougi got a peaceful one and especially one to share with her loved one, Kokouto.

Oh and you'll need a proxy service with extra fees to order them from anywhere you're likely to find them. Some local places might have them (like eBay) but expect even higher prices. Otherwise the only way to get the music videos are on the limited edition copies of the singles. Same goes for all songs since Hikari Furu. Most of those are sold out too.
