tbh every nasu's MC is underrated except for kiritsugu. like emiya is good in VN, shiki thono has an interesting development towards his view of people live, ryougi shiki has some kind of unique development, aoko is a rare well written FMC and thats only the MC not including a well written heroine or side character like, arcueid, sakura, touko etc

I've been listening to Kara no Kyouki osts for over 2 years since I watched the series. Never got tired of listening to them at all. Yuki Kajiura is one of the best composers, no you could say the best actually. Along with Pandora Hearts, Madoka Magica and Fate/Stay Night HF Osts,they are a few of her works that I never tire of 🤧💙. She is amazing 💙💙

Just finished this anime, both anime and light novel are so underrated. Of all anime that I had watched I'd say Kara no Kyoukai is very unique it has its own charm. If anyone already finished this anime I'd recommended playing Tsukihime visual novel next it's parallel universe written by the same guy, you'll see the similarity/reference both of them .

I honestly wish the original video was still up. It's a real shame since if I never listened to the soundtrack, I never would have taken an interest in Kara no Kyoukai. It is now one of my all-time favorite series ever. Yuki Kajiura crafted a masterpiece of a theme for Ryougi Shiki. You can feel the sorrow, pain, tension, and finally beauty in the progression of the piece. The piece is Shiki, a terrifying yet dazzling existence. It never failed to inspire me to see Shiki's journey as a character and as an idea. Many people consider this story very tragic and dark, I would say yes it is. However, it's the beauty and hope that you see that shines over everything else. That's what this piece is to me.

Watch them in order. It's confusing at first, but the story is beautiful. This music takes on a whole new meaning when you get to know Shiki as a character.
Same composer, she also uses it in her rendition of the emiya theme in heaven's feel 3. In fact I'm pretty sure she uses that in every ost when working with ufotable.
