The left shins/calves are also backward on these. Mine also came that way. Flash Gordon was also like that. Just twisted them back the right way.

There is no paint, only molded plastic with very subtle shading. Only the head, trunks and the skulls have paint.

i recently re-watched the 90s film again which was my childhood favorite superhero film but also a extremely underrated comicbook based film, and the phantom defitanlly needs a comeback ,
live action r-rated or pg-13 tv show
anyway love the redone figure of this phantom

I know The Phantom was drawn with those striped trunks but they initially bugged me. I was interested in swapping belts with the DOTE version, but I see they're two different purples. The darker purple has made the trunks look grow on me. Will probably leave it as is. Thanks for the review. Have him arriving from eBay in a few days.

The figure looks great, aside from the striped trunks. The Phantom has been nicely sculpted and painted. I like the inclusion of the skull. NECA has been knocking it out of the park with Flash Gordon, Ming the Merciless and of course The Phantom. Great work on their part. Thanks as always Spot!
