    To prevent over proofing just wait until you finish your 1st dough shaping is done before adding the cinnamon and raisins into your 2nd dough, this will stagger the process just enough. 💖💖

    They look tasty. Reminds me of helping my dad baking things when I was little. He also was a baker and switched his occupation, and we had a garden and raised our own rabbits. My mom canned and preserved things. Your video brings back wonderful memories. God bless you all.

    • @humbleservantshomestead7974
      @humbleservantshomestead7974  6 місяців тому +1

      Do you also keep a garden today? Lots of people were raised around those skills and life has taken them away from those things as adults. Just curious if you continued on your family tradition?

    • @rosemariefarrell4762
      @rosemariefarrell4762 6 місяців тому

      Yes I did follow those traditions for a long time and enjoyed it very much. When covid happened I had to help my granddaughter with her schoolwork on the computer. Since I have been watching her for almost 10 years I have not done any gardening for 3-4 years now . Just didn't have time, but I miss it. The screens of the gardenhouse got messed up by the weather and our 2 dogs. It needs repaired and I am not able to use it right now. I have a few things on the porch and some herbs growing in front of the house, but that is it. Maybe when we repair the gardenhouse I can get back into it. Also granddaughter is growing up fast and maybe will have the time. God bless you. It sure brought back wonderful memories. :) Rosi:)

    I have been wanting to make homemade bagels for years. You have inspired me to make some. I have them in the oven cooking. 20 minutes left. This was soooo easy. One thing I will need to do is invest in a better mixer. This batter almost took it out the game. Great job. Thank you.❤❤❤

      Low and slow will protect your mixture. I always use speed 1 and 2 only. Did you by chance double your recipe? I double mine comfortably because I use my 8qt mixture to make larger batches. Any mixture smaller than a 6qt mixture and I would only do one batch at a time.
