Fun one! suggestion for you guys, how about 2 rounds in one map, like this one. I would believe that there must be many hiding spots you're missing by only playing it once.

For a large map, they should pick one section in which each can explore for a bit first. (Different section for each person.) Not long...maybe like 2-3 minutes. That would create a dilemma. You could find good hiding spots in that room, but the seeker will expect that you would be in that room and might find you easier. Similarly, would you want to hide in a room that someone explored and therefore might know most of the switches?

ScrapMan found the perfect hiding spot while being the seeker. LOL Actually, kAN found the perfect spot in the last round. That was brilliant. This is another map worth revisiting at some point in the future... hopefully with Kosmo.
You could invite some more players and have a 3v3 on this map (or 2 v 4) with multiple seekers, in that way communication would be key as well. Allowing movement could be fun also with the multiple seekers.
At my high school, we got more than just a shop, of course we had a bus barn and a FFA Workshop. The landscapers actually had a shop but I think it's to park and stored their equipment and use the bus barn shop to either clean (inwhich made a huge mess) or maybe fix their equipment(unless they take their equipment to the ffa shop to get their stuff fixed)
Question: why do you guys keep the two minutes while hiding in the final times when there isn't any actual seeking happening during that period? I mean it hardly matters, I was just curious? Two minutes less on KAN's overall times would really boost his somewhat awful records I'd figure. Lol! 🤟🦄✨♥️
1. The timer is built into challenge mode. 2. The timer starts when the game starts and the seeker is released after two minutes (sometimes three). 3. If the timer started when the seeker was released, there’d be nothing to limit how long the hiders have to hide
@@quakxy_dukx YES, I understand the fundamentals of a static counter - that doesn't mean it should necessarily count in the final time? I'm pretty sure they're capable of figuring out how to manually subtract the two hiding minutes from their final scores, was my meaning.

Something I would love to see just needs a rocket launcher and a piston to slow down the rocket so it flys more like a mortar, kinda like how you use the piston to launch the bombs but reversed, and I am sure this concept will work because scrapman already tested if momentum is carried into rockets, so if you make the piston move the rocket launcher backwards at the same time it fires it should slow down.
as this series starded i was a bit sceptical as to whether it could be interesting but honestly im now catching myself waiting for another great map and another set of weird/interesting rules you apply here.
The school district I attended had a Jr/Sr High School which was grades 7-12. They also had a mechanical shop and garage for a small number of buses and groundskeeping equipment plus a wood and metal shop for instruction with equipment that was also used for repairs as needed.
The school system over in North America (Both US and Canada) seems pretty complicated, mandatory school (usually for 12 years) here in Germany look like this: Grade 1 - 4 Elementary school Grade 5 -10 High School Grade 11 - 13 Job specific college (I went to economics)
Here (in America) it is : Pre-kindergarten (optional) Kindergarten - 5 Elementary (kindergarten is like grade 0) 6 - 8 Middle 9 - 12 highschool then just college,

mm idea the Kintsugi Challenge. take an existing creation and break it down (blow it to pieces, cut it up, whatever) the other players have to try and reassemble the original creation but are not allowed to use the same materials (essentials excluded) so the changes and repair materials must be apparent (Hense the Kintsugi) whoever gets closest to the original without seeing the original before it gets broken down, wins
The real question is which one of them is the bully and which one of them is the nerd that gets shoved into the locker? But in my opinion, genuinely a really good map. I like maps with a lot of hiding spots that make you need to pay attention to detail, but not like the go kart one where you press a switch and across the map something happens. The kinds of maps where if you look pass by too fast you'll miss the fact that out of all the books on the shelf, one of them is thinner, grey, and is glowing red or green on one side. The better ones are the ones with spots within spots, but again that's my opinion.
I was looking at my recommended and saw an old video of Scrapman's that I had already seen. The title of it was "Hide and Seek in a Massive Castle". Right below it was this video with almost the same title. Nice.
I really hope the Creative Challenge mod comes together and starts working correctly. If so these hide and seek maps would be so much cooler. Just the modpack logic blocks alone would be so nice for these.
Moving should be allowed after the first person is found and then they help seeking. Whoever lasts the longest is the winner rather than fastest seeker.
I grew up in the woods so our school had everything. It had the bus garage it had vocational school attached to the regular school. I thought it was normal to have, like a woodworking shop. I thought all this was normal I guess not or scrap man with home schooled
Odd, question. I've become enamored with these videos, and bought Scrap Mechanic over the weekend. Currently working on a Hide and Seek map. Is there a best way to notify you folks when it's completed?
In hindsight, it sounds like I'm completely new and likely not to complete a stage in any reasonable time. I should note in the last few days, I'm about 25% complete, and frankly, it's likely to have 60 spots if not more in a relatively small area with good verticality.
Good Luck! Also, I think you could comment when you're done and upload the build to the workshop and maybe in the title or description put "Hide & Seek map for ScrapMan". But IDK because I don't have Scrap Mechanic
Hey Scrapman, I think the reason why you can’t go into the green locker but Moonbo can is because you were never holding your spud gun while going into it.
I love how Kan says his school was super small with 500 7 thru 12 when mine was 200 k thru 12, and my graduating class was the largest in a decade at 23
