i was aabout to comment the same thing. but what if they found the biggest and best hide and seek map and took 5 seekers and 1 hider. the hider would have 3 min to hide.
Me and some friends played it in middle school. One round I found the hider chilling on the porch (we were outside), and then laid on the floor next to him infront of the door... the others found us when they gave up and tried to go inside
I personally think the regular hide and seek would have been better for a map like this, but it was still very fun to watch Sardines! You guys definitely need to do some hide and seek with Camodo and Kosmo on these super spot loaded maps. 5 man would be so fun to watch! Especially playing Sardines!
Oh, you definitely need to revisit old maps but as sardines this time! Maybe the space or mario maps? Also, perhaps you should make a rule for the hider that there has to be enough space to fit all players? If it's not big enough for all players to "sardine", then they get 5 minutes per person who can't fit subtracted from their final score or something. Which, I guess, depending on the spot could be a strategy thing if you think you'll last.

I think whether hide and seek or sardines is better is going to depend on the map. Sardines seems better suited to the maps that are either too large for a single seeker and/or that are indoors, preventing seekers from having a line of sight with each other.
Y’all need to get more people on for these hide and seek/sardines games, it is fun with just the 3 of you but maybe for a charity livestream y’all should bring in more people like squidy and hyce 😊
You should have added the time the first seeker was hiding with the hider to their time - that way there was a reason to be the one who finds the hider first.

I definitely like sardines better it feels more thrilling being the hider and more entertaining being the seeker, trying to make sure you keep an eye out for suspicious activity from the other person. I would play it tho, where the seeker doesn’t have to announce when they fund the hider. Makes it funnier when you realize that the other person is gone. The map you played here really went well with the sardines aspect of the game, hiding multiple people in 1 spot. People should start making sardine maps now in scrap mechanic. I hope you play this with 4 players soon. Keep up the amazing work!
I like the change of rules, though I think the time should be assigned to the last seeker instead of the first hider to make it actually competitive. In this version the best play is to seek in coop with the other seekers. Since you win by having a longer hide time than the others, cooperating with the other seeker means you can reduce the time of the hider significantly, and therefore giving yourself a better chance of getting a longer time. Whereas if the time was assigned to the last seeker and you won by having the shortest time, it would mean every non-last seeker that finds the hider better not reveal where they are so as to lengthen the last seeker's time.
I just realize I made perfect map for Sardines (excluding fact part of map is parkour to maze where even more hiding spots are) and it called “Hide and Seek Robotics warehouse.” though worth noting seekers are going have to stay in lobby area (spawn area) since I made seeker spot fit only one person since I expecting be use for normal hide and seek. Also noting that most hiding spots hiding spots are able fit multiple people (excluding couple spot that may only fit one person without person being noticeable outside the spot.

I think those are all really cool video ideas, and I could understand if you're running out of ideas😂. The fun part of sardines is you are NOT supposed to reveal when you found the hider. It's fun cause you have to constantly worry if the other seeker already found the spot because you never wanna be the one who took the longest. Competitive seeking.
You need to have *any* hiding time count towards your time, that way when the second person finds the hider, they don’t do something like REVEALING THE HIDING SPOT. It encourages finding quickly and being sneaky about also hiding. Also, this format would probably work better with at least 4 people.
I have been working on a hide and seek map with a story to it, but haven’t been able to figure out how it would make sense, but I got it now! You just have to do it simpler to this! Only difference is, rather then one hider and the rest seekers, it starts out normally, but, once the seeker finds a hider, then the hider becomes a seeker as well!
I like this new idea but it's kinda bad since the other seekers can see you all the time as well. Here's a fun alternative idea: At the start of the round, you guys do something like spinning a wheel, one at a time and the wheel can land on either hider or seeker. Others don't see the result and all 3 of you wait till everyone spins their wheel. This wheel should only give seeker to one player and hider to the other two. Afterwards, all 3 of you head out, not knowing what the others got. Within a set amount of time, you have to walk around and look for spots. The seeker has to pretend he's looking for a spot to hide while the hiders have to hide within this time (let's say within 2 minutes) in a way that the seeker doesn't see where you hide. The seeker can pretend the others that he's also hiding and earn the trust of hiders and keep and eye on where they are going. The seeker can also choose to hide alongside the hiders and keep watch, its up to them. Once the time is up, each player has to say out loud what role they got, and then the seeker has to try his best to remember where the other two went and find them based on what they have said and such. This would be a cool twist. You should try it out
Honestly, hide and seek in dark maps would be so cool. Especially when there are jumpscares in the map (I just want to hear screams of frightened souls)
Idea: a hide in seek where every hider has to move spots every 2 minutes but they cant go back to their old spots and the seeker cant seek while they are moving but if the seeker finds their spot or sees them when they are moving and shoots them they are found
I think you should just alternate. Both are good, but sardines really stirs the pot in a challenging way. You should probably visit some old maps and play sardines there to get some more mileage out of them.
Imagine inviting more players with a larger map. It would really give of the Sardines Vibe of having the seekers disappearing one by one. And imagine no comms as well to make it more immersive but like the hiders would be able to get into VC with each other

I’m sure that would be harder to calculate, but it gives the first seeker to find the hider an advantage in scoring compared to the second seeker. (And I know you guys wouldn’t purposely do it, but rules as they are right now the first seeker to find the hider should give away the hiding spot to the second seeker because that would hurt the hider’s time. There’s actually no reason rn the first seeker to find the hider wouldn’t want the second seeker to immediately find them).

this was a nice change of pace can you guys build unmanned "hover" or low friction, wheel-less creations armed with explosives to launch at targets? preferably rocket powered but a down hill round like off the ski jump might be fun
Can you do a video with 2 teams of 2, and each team has to build a base with only workshop creations and then the teams battle in some way. Like maybe there is an explosive in the middle of each base that you need to explode.

I think this makes more sense to take the seekers time for this because how it is right noe you actually want the other seeker to immediately find you to stop the timer, but if you count your own time then you want to find them fast and stay hidden very long which is how the game should be played in my opinion, cause how you're doing it right now its kinda just hide and seek but with two pairs of eyes

Otherwise, there is literally no incentive to not have the seeker-turned-hider just shoot randomly to give hints away.
You really need at least 4 people to create the sense of being alone after the others disappear 1 by 1
