Slow computer can do it too, since handling (and acceleration and breaking power) depends on the framerate. Also being too zoomed in or not looking ahead. Of course all this applies only if there aren't static objects on the road. Sometimes players might place some, or maps like 10years later have trees growing, and part of Louisville has a bit of road obstacles.
I mean this also makes sense from a real-life logic standpoint as the car's obviously on wheels and will dissipate some of the energy of the collision by moving
Cars are also made with relatively thin metal sheets and are therefore easier to damage than a tree, (not so much the fence though) and since they can be damaged easier it means that more of the energy will be spent deforming the metal of the other car rather than the metal of your car, or the flesh and bones of your body.
A lot of cars have crumple zones designed for just this. To take as much energy from the driver's seat of both vehicles and use it to mash the trunk/hood into a mess

The engine can be repaired infinitely at no diminishing returns (other than parts availability) and the hood can be replaced (unless you're using that mod that makes each car have it's own unique parts, forgot the name. In which case you can still replace it, but it's considerably harder). However, it's worth reducing damage to yourself if it means no fracture vs fracture.

In my experience some cars can brake way better with the handbrake. I suggest testing each car you get, see what is better, the brakes, handbrakes, or both at once. Some cars stop instantly with the handbrake.
I'm pretty sure that's only due to the quality and condition of the brake parts in the vehicle combined with the weight of the vehicle. Motorcycles (a modded-in vehicle) are super-light, which results in the game giving them instant breaking power due to unrealistically-high wheel friction/grip or something.

It's not the subject of the video but set a key to pan the camera forward manually, you'll see farther and should have more time to react, and no you don't have to open your window to do that
i always did this becouse this is how i saved my life back in 2018, i was about to crash but i slammed the brakes and destroyed the shit out of the ohter side of the car, i broke my arm but i didn't wen't' fliying.

maybe in a MP PvP server where I wanna keep my car and not to be injured to be able to keep PvPing players yes, but doing this in a singleplayer run it's a clown move, then why not just enable debug mode and heal myself and fix the car

And how do I crash for maximum damage?
I'm still waiting to hear about the one thing I do right in pz
pro tip, have a pc that cant handle fast driving so fastest you will go is 40 kmh
Is spacebar the brakes?
It's the parking/emergency brake.
@@Retanaru Or in Australian, the handbrake.
I have nearly 900 hours game time and I didn't know this. But to be honest, I rarely use cars. This is why I follow this channel. Always educational and interesting. Even seasoned players can learn something.
@@themudpit621or in any other language than us english
or in Germany the FESTSTELLBREMSE @@themudpit621
Wat abut the box?
instant death
@@Retanaru thats box kill soo many player over the years
Now that you've shown how you minimize the damage possible show us how to *maximize* the damage possible. I wanna see how I can turn a meager pothole bump into a Mad Max rollover turning myself into a sad pile of meat when they find the body
a mf can't even crash his car without being judged about how well they crashed. smh
whats your resolution? that is some primo zoom out you got goin on
Step 1: Just drive at a reasonable speed bruh
Makes sense.
for me the break and turn method slows down the car a lot.
The correct way not to crash is to not go 120 and apply the brake when you going at 60 MPH Crash avoided
Where is the fun in driving during apocalypse, if you can't go 120 in city?
That thumbnail is almost sexy.
Can you make another video for irl?
Spacebar is handbrake? Say less. Im about to be DK.
It's not the subject of the video but set a key to pan the camera forward manually, you'll see farther and should have more time to react, and no you don't have to open your window to do that
i thought getting a bunch of errors and my car disappearing was normal?
mfw people are driving like its gta in a game with extremely punishing crash mechanics + permadeath
great advise ima try it irl brb
i always did this becouse this is how i saved my life back in 2018, i was about to crash but i slammed the brakes and destroyed the shit out of the ohter side of the car, i broke my arm but i didn't wen't' fliying.
Does this apply to the burnt car wrecks also?
yeuup, it does. Any vehicle.
Isn't the point of car crash is that it's reflexive and uncontrollable? If you could control and steer to a desirable direction, wouldn't it be better not to crash at all?
Why you take sunday driver and never worry
just alt-f4, the speed of the car isn't preserved when you rejoin :)
Turn the car off and its physics turn off.
maybe in a MP PvP server where I wanna keep my car and not to be injured to be able to keep PvPing players yes, but doing this in a singleplayer run it's a clown move, then why not just enable debug mode and heal myself and fix the car
@@xxxzzzzxxx I mean I don't do either what this video says, play pvp, or alt-f4, i was just poking fun at this whole minmaxing culture
