On a more serious note: Do not try this unless you are trained. You need to know what to look for and what you're looking at on a major storm let alone understand how real the danger is chasing. Simple radar on your phone will not cut it when you are face to face with the real thing: you need to understand satellite level radar. I'm a trained professional storm spotter responsible for bringing warning to the public, and work with the NWS actively.

Of course I was worried after so many years it would end up scratched, so I went & bought a rare blue ray 2 disk edition I now use instead. The original I have is now kept behind a display case. But now after 27 years, there's a sequel coming. July 19th, 2024 this year. This time the very storm chasers like me who were inspired out of the original movie are now the ones helping create the new one bringing in real storm footage right in the heart of Oklahoma. Only the best footage has been decided to be put into use & given to Hollywood. They are in the process of working with the real storm footage now for the big screen. The new sequel will be based on Bill Paxton's & Helen Hunt's (Jo's) daughter. There is no official trailer released yet, but it will come soon likely in about 3 months from now. We miss Bill Paxton "The Extreme" & Philip Seymour Hoffman "Dusty." They are legends. TWISTER has not died after 27 years. It's stuck in the heart every chaser who saw it, & it's why a sequel is in the making now. It shall be known as "TWISTERS." Get ready... it's gonna blow you away.
