    God it's refreshing to see a brewing basics video that's no longer than it needs to be*. Informative, delivered clearly, done and dusted in a shade under 10 mins.

    Freezing your fruits make it much easier to extract the juices. l think the freezing and thawing before pressing breaks the cell walls of the fruit. The fruits get so soft, you could probably press them without cutting them up, just place them in a nylon straining bag as is then into the press to squeeze.

    I've done that festival kit. Unless you have a very sweet tooth, best to leave the sweetener out as they did.

    Rather ironic that this video should pop up in my subs box as I brewed a hard apple cider (from juice) earlier this afternoon, although with a little twist in that I used Saflager S-23 yeast, I'm hopeful that it'll make the resulting cider light and crispy.

      Dry and sparkling. Aged 6 months or more is like tart champagne. Love it
