It's crazy that this game has you go from 16 achievements to 40 something all in one game mode, I get wanting to push a new game mode but holy!
I remember getting the platinum the first day you could 😅 it was when the first titan boss in invasions dropped. It was lengthy but satisfying

As much as I love Mortal Kombat, I knew Mortal Kombat 1 wasn’t going to be the best ever from the start. It’s never a good sign when a game hasn’t even dropped and dlc is already announced. Also there’s always people sticking to whoever’s best at the time but the cameos exacerbate that issue since it’s a slightly more complex system people are more likely to just look up the best duos instead of figuring out what works for them. Mk1 just really disappointed
I mean...WB has said they are no longer making games in this "volatile market" and are gonna focus on F2P and mobile gaming.

but GG on managing to finish this,and I agree...the cameo system is def something tossed in cuz that was the popular thing going on. (look at all the 2v2/3v3 fighters out there now) but hey...at least you didnt have to do My kung Fu is stronger again,lol. (or seriously 1.0/2.0/3.0 from gears)

Roster wise id say annihilation was the best MK, it had almost every character and alot of different game modes. Still some of the foundest gaming memories in my mind.
Actually according to the rules on UA-cam after 20 seconds and a warning in the beginning you could put blood and gore in a video and something that they don't mind is you killing zombies or anything that's not human so if you do anything brutal to something that's not human you won't get striked
Best not to risk it as UA-cam are a bunch of scumbag liars and will strike stuff for literally no reason even if you follow all rules.

as always loved this one same as i love the mortal kombat series... the only thing that kinda always throws me off is the fact that 90% of first character letters "C"s are exchanged for "K"s
That's been the case for all MK games. They do it intentionally because of the K in Kombat.

Yea I’m glad I chose sf6 instead of this game. I watched gameplay and such and it just didn’t look fun. But I picked up sf6 and love it.

Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 really kicked the hell out of Mortal Kombat 1 for me. Mortal Kombat 1's core gameplay is fun, but it's simply not as fun as the other two of the big three fighting games, and to top THAT off it also has the least content AND the worst unlocks and DLC practices. It's another five years of being a Tekken main for me. Good luck next time, NRS.

Only the seasonal ones like that thanksgiving/Halloween one. The default unique ones all characters have are completely free, along with brutalities. You just unlock them through mastery (by playing that character a lot.)
Even then you don't really have to buy them, the Paid currency is given out through invasions too.

The modern gaming industry is complete trash nowadays. Quality gaming died when corporate interests came to rule the Industry.
It won't ever stop either, not unless the consumers stop buying the predatory and anti consumer products released today that have the "entertainment" label slapped on top (where all the depth lies).
Tbh, I feel like the big three fighting games really failed to deliver in single player content. All of it seems boring. And with Tekken there’s sometimes I wanted to play single player after a stressful day of ranked but they got rid of treasure battle and replaced it with something that is downgraded. These games need to stop removing stuff that was actually good and entertaining
Ya gotta love Warner Bros. going out of their way to ruin everything they touch these days. They are going the way of EA and Ubisoft.
look on the bright side...they recently stated they cant work in the "volatile" market (cuz suicide squad flopped hard) so they are going to focus on F2P and mobile games from now on ((which just makes me more annoyed WB copyrighted the nemesis system))
