You call 'at a knoif? THIS is a knoif! (holding up the same exact Ozark Trail saw tooth machete). 😅
Great video. First thing I did after removing the wrapper and pulling it out of the sheath, (catching on the saw teeth just like yours did), was to put a strip of electrical tape along the back of the knoif where the saw teeth are and now it slides in and out of the sheath very smoothly in case you need the business side of the knoif right away. I don't plan to use the saw side of the knoif any time soon, since I bring an ax and saw to the woods and camping usually anyway, but if I do, I can just remove the strip of tape and put it right back over the teeth when I am finished sawing something.

I got this for free from my buddy and I love it bc it's so durable for a cheep knife trust me it'll hold an edge for a little bit until you actually need to use it but it still works good for us in central Ohio its perfect

Yep, I'll get one! If you can't demolish it in one video, then that's good enough to drop a few dollars on. To be honest, the only truly outstanding machetes were produced for our troops in the Vietnam war, all others are just good-enough machetes. I have one that was forged and tempered perfectly, and given a near perfect edge, and it's still only good-enough, nothing like the one my pops carried in Nam. So, any machete that you didn't manage to destroy in one video is good enough to buy and keep around. 😁

Whenever i make a pitstop at wallyworld i grab up the ozark knives. For 7 bucks a piece those things are fucking tanks. Just recently grabbed up one of these for laughs and i'm really not surprised that it's as tough as the smaller blades

I believe so even if it's not it's pretty strong blade for the money. I wouldn't use it like to baton with all the time specially hardwoods. But soft woods or just a bush whacker your good. 👊💀👍
