This was one of my favorite sketches. I used to watch The Kids in the Hall with my parents, and we'd crack up every time. Sadly though, my parents aren't alive, to see that the Kids in the Hall have come back.
Classic. I love how it becomes increasingly specific and absurd with each faux pas, lol. Scott Thompson's facial expressions alone crack me up and Mark McKinney always does a good job playing a sleazy businessman "Well, How the HELL was I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!", gotta work that line into my everyday life
"What are you deaf?" I was with a group of people and some guy said that to a girl I knew. This girl had 30% hearing in one ear and 10% hearing in her other. I didn't know what to do, she and her started laughing hysterically so I felt better. She pulled out her hearing aids and said, "yes, legally I am!" and the guy who said "What are you deaf?" sat their dumbfounded apologizing profusely as they laughed at him.
I know this was over 20 years ago and the woman who played Janet probably doesn't look like that now but jeez she was gorgeous here. A face that has faded into the past She almost looks vaguely familiar maybe that's because I've watched this before.
@doggypound1 I never noticed it before buy your right. The way Jerry performed on Seinfeld is kinda kevinesque. Its funny because Kevin Macdonald was a guest star on a episode
This was the sketch by KITH to first win me over to their genius. I was in my first year of high school. I've been waiting forever for this skit on youtube for ever. Thanks.
Kevin McDonald is the best "whiner" ever. His voice gets high and almost cracks....hilarious !!

1:36 “I won’t kill you! I can’t kill you! This IS a party!”
Yeah can't kill them just have to leave them.
The way Scott cries kills me, so damn funny. "You two make a good looking couple..." Love that line!
They were amazing. One of the best shows, ever.
I won't kill you; I can't kill you! This is a party!
This is the funniest moment in Television HISTORY!!!...The way mar k reacts to the tape!!!!

After this sketch I just wanted to go around saying "What the hell!"
The original Larry David
"What are you deaf?"

Their was a flawless Alicia Silverstone look alike there, All I wanted was Dave in that wig.
Easily one of the funniest sketches I’ve ever seen!
I pity those folks who thumbed this hilarity down.

Colin Taylor she looks like Whitney Port

Liar
Gee whiz! That "boss" guy was in shock, because he wouldn't stop making that bleating/yelping sound.
THis one really hits home with my wife and me.
I love the faces Scott makes. Hilarious!!!
Absolute genius!
I tell you, the same thing happens to me, I guess it happens to all the Kevin's!
The strange thing is I find this so funny only cause I've got an aunt and uncle like this
And I luv Dave
Love it. I've found myself in similar situations many times.
Been hoping I'd see this sketch again for years now, and I finally have. Thank you uploader, and thank you youtube.
this KILLS me - I've got tears this is so freakin funny!
Oh, thanks so much for posting this. I've been looking for this for ages.
I love this show! 🤣🤣🤣
this one of the funnier kith skits i've seen in a bit. damn that was funny.
damn it took me too many years to find this one and now it mine to watch when ever i want
So this is where Seinfeld got his intonation from.
Seinfeld came out the same year as this show
2:17 Mark's face.
What the Hell is Going On?
Why the Hell is Kevin saying,
“Hell” So Many Times?
God damn that dark haired fox is beautiful.
Dave foley?
Than whos your wife?! I love the way he laughs it at the begining:)
The woman playing Janet reminds me of when Timmy did female characters on WKUK
Damn, Kevin sure said "Hell" a lot in this sketch!
his arms make it great
I get Scott and Mark confused also.
But both of them do great work here.
How the hell! LOL
KITH, lightyears beyond all but the first few years of SNL.
Like comparing Vermeer to spin-art.
MAD TV was just as good.
@@ChrisM-zm4li Not by a longshot, Chris.
@@thetemplelaboratory Don't be so confident, The Temple.
....how the hell should i know 4 people & so on hates this?????
sometimes the humor here was a little dry, but not this sketch - HILARIOUS
Been up to anything greasy back there?
we have all been there
this fuckin kills me
i agree w you.
...then who's your wi-hihiihihihihihihihfe?!
Who knew all it took to cause PTSD in a survivor of a hostage situation was the sight of a taped mouth?
Hell!
Thats the best fucking seizure thing I've ever seen.
holy fuck, the guy @ 2:06 looks like totally like julian assange
not anymore
@Conchobhar Actually his comment wasn't tacky... it was topical and totally related to the clip.
How the hell could I know he was a hostage???!
It almost looks like they are making fun of Seinfeld with this. I wonder if that is what inspired this sketch.
i remember the christ out of that
Seinfeld.
2 people are deaf and on the rag
2 :]
Awesome, thanks for uploading!
What does he say at 2:35? "You're on the rake"?
rag
Slang for on your period
@taylor189 I disagree. I think they made pretty good women themselves, and they bring their comic genius to the sketch.
@simonjeste And hostages.
Now I see what it is about Kevin that makes him stick out from the other Kids to me. He's very New York-y. You know?
murielsartre What the hell is that supposed to mean?
2 people disliked the video.
@simonjeste One person made a tacky comment to get thumbed up.
They should have used actually women more often. The ones they used were usually hot!!!
No, I mean Scott. But yeah, Mark too.
Trigger warning: The following video may contain the potentially offensive words "deaf," "screwing," and "hostage."
Grow up.
JS got his warbrobe from Kevin for sure
