Thank you. Sometimes I do forget some steps as I make so many tutorials. I need to remember I may be teaching someone who knows nothing about Word. :)))
Thanks for this tutorial. What version of Word are you on? I think ours is just called 365. I don't always see what you see on the menus. Maybe that is configurable.
No, it fades so you know what text/graphics are in the headers and footers and which are in the main document. Once you save the document to a PDF it will look perfect and all the colours will be vibrant.
It will do so you can identify whether you're within the HEADER & FOOTER mode or in MAIN mode. When you print it or save it as a PDF it will all be equally as intense. If you just want to send the file as a doc you will have to create the graphics within the main body of the page and not use headers and footers. This will mean you will have to copy and paste the graphics to any subsequent pages though.
I have worked with InDesign for years and need to become more adept with Word. Your tutorials are a blessing. Thank you!
You are brilliant, seriously! I love how you include all the steps and that you never assume we know how to do some things. You are a great teacher!

Great to hear! :)

How do you remove the opacity of the header image? Image goes back to default opacity as you exit out of header mode
it was a great tutorial. However, the header/footer changes color when you came out of it. Is there any way to keep the original color?
The colour change is because its contained within the headers and footers. It will print correctly.
@@LisaDoe I had the same problem, and solved now. Many thanks
@@susilperera3045 can u tell me please how u fix it ?
is there a way to stop the header from fading?
No, it fades so you know what text/graphics are in the headers and footers and which are in the main document. Once you save the document to a PDF it will look perfect and all the colours will be vibrant.
Thank you.
as soon as you
click on the header the intensity of the body text becomes less to overcome that what should i do? please reply
