@@sweetpeascraftingintheburb4462 Good morning/evening SP! Hope all is well! I have done a couple hidden spines but enjoy the exposed spine more. Take care! xoxo
Thank you for this tutorial, I am following along step by step. I have also watch the individual videos on page decorating. I couldn’t have made my first journal without these tutorials. I continue to learn from you every week
Yes Pam it IS chilly in Florida right now! I came all the way from New Brunswick Canada to warm up! Lol. Good thing I have my winter puffer jacket with me.
Thanks for your tuition so far so good, despite Sally the Cat deciding to play with the binding string. My old book cover was a bit big 9 1/4 by 6 1/2 for this job but never the less I got thru using mostly A4 sheets and 3 signatures, as I want to decorate my first journal, being step 2 I will continue and enjoy the rest, I am so excited to of finally made a journal as I have been collecting stuff for so long. Thanks again and let us continue with part 3. Francke (Franckie) from Brisbane
Love following along even though I've made many journals. FYI: There is a name for the the "pooch" that sticks out on the right side. Printers call it "creep", which makes sense as the papers creep a bit when several are folded together. Just thought you'd like to know. Haven't tried a hidden spine yet, but you're giving me confidence to do so. Thanks!!
Good Morning glad to see you using an old book cover again. Hint... you could try getting old books from your library. Tey sometimes have old series hard covers when I can't find them on the cheap at a thrift/charity shop. Thank you again Pam your Tips are fabulous. HI Sunny, Holly, Lovies and to Papa "gutten tag!"
You are so easy to understand as you craft and instruct how to craft. We’re you a teacher in a previous life, or have you always been the crafter you show us? Just kidding, but you are really good. You make it fun, interesting and so very creative. Love watching you
You make it look so easy 😳 I did receive my ‘fundle’ the other day and I’ve made almost everything I want in my first journal (fingers crossed) I can’t thank you enough for your channel! Your expertise and your encouragement ❣️❣️❣️is much appreciated. The fundle papers are absolutely beautiful! I had to almost beat my adult daughter off of them! Lol 🎉 I can’t believe how quickly I got them. Thank you again. Blessings to all❣️💜
This was really relaxing Pam, thank you! Hi Sunny..I have to eat healthy food too 🙄 I went to my Goodwill today to search for old books and little items for a junk journal. I'm so new and in the early stages of hunting for items. Soooo, I almost walked out empty handed but wait!!!! What's that?? A ziplock bag full of stamps!!!! OHHHHH happy day! $50 worth of beautiful stamps for $4.99....winning! Now I need the inkpads...one step at a time...I'm having fun Pam like you said! Thank you for pouring all your knowledge out to us, it's made such a difference in these stay-inside days! ❤️
GREAT tutorial, and great teaching skills, still being inspired. Maybe not quite in order, but have made a couple small ones & still waiting for my first top notch, thanks!!!
Good morning Pam. Thanks for the tips and tips for using an old book to make a journal. Going to to be fun. Hey Sunny 😎. It's cold here to. Good time to hunker down and craft with everyone.👍🤗 Hugs to the family.
Love that you are a fellow Floridian!! Just found your channel thought I might try my hand at junk journaling. I will have to watch this series to make my own. Thank you you are such a great teacher and your assistant is the best 😜

Love Sunshine’s nose. Excellent beginner tutorial video. Thanks Pam, love your videos. So helpful and Motivating! .BTW. What video do you recommend on how to use those yummy cut off scraps? Cheers, Marylyn.
I’m loving this series, I have a question, for the 1 /2” spine, you made 4 signatures, remind me how many papers you put in each signature. Thank you Pam
Hi Pam! Hope to are coping with the Florida chill, you rugged Canadian 🤣 Loving the step-by-step...so cool! ⭐ I have seen the other tutorials you've made, but I just can't get enough!! ⭐ Snack pup-dates, good stuff! 🐾 hello from Denmark 🌸❄
Mornin' Pam. Good to review the "how to's". Especially the hidden spine...I still don't trust my skills to do this. I worry I won't get it glued in secure enough to stay glued in. 😏 Regards to the menagerie and Papa too. Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
I was just wondering when you put a book page in a signature ,do you make sure you put two needle holes in or does one hole will hold it in the signature. ❤
Hi Pam! I'm really enjoying this series and am following along, can't wait to share the finished journal. Hope your week is going good, take care! 💜 Sunny must have is own Instagram, he is something. 🥰

How many papers do you typically put in each signature
T.Y. Pam for this great tutorial. Hey, has anyone had trouble with free fun pages??? I have not been able to download. T.Y. Piece 😍👍🍂
When cutting the unfolded stack to size, wouldn't it be better to cut some from each end rather than cut it all from one end?
I love the smell of cabbage
Try a slice of lemon in with the cabbage.
Lol I’m behind
Couldn't you use good coloring in water to dye the papers 🤔
Book
You don’t post to Australia
What is a signature? Besides you writing your name.
