I have been diagnosed with a life altering disease that has put my life in a tailspin. I was blessed to find you on here and have started this new craft and I couldn't do it without your videos. It keeps my mind and hands busy. Has brought me such joy. And hopefully when I'm gone my family will cherish the gifts I am making for them. I love watching your videos and just listening to your lovely voice.Watching your beafitiful hands. It's cathartic.
I understand how you feel and I am sorry, you are going thru life changing times! These videos have pulled me thru some tough issues with myMS . Being able to be creative with a little bit of paper and glue is so satisfying and like she says “Why Not” Keep-fighting your fight with beauty and do it for you!
I am praying for you right now, sister Robin. Congratulations on your phenomenal attitude during a time of change. It will keep you strong, friend. May God bless you abundantly on this walk ❤
Your videos have totally inspired me to make journals. At 73 I have a few skills now with lace making, punch needle, kumihimo braiding, quilting, sashiko sewing, crochet … But never, ever would I consider working with paper! scrapbooking - oh no, I can do better than that! What a craft snob I was. Look at all the fun and creativity I’ve missed. So, I purchased your book and spent this past weekend reading it. Then it’s - Oh, oh, can I really do this? Natasha is so good - where do I start? Then Monday comes along bringing this wonderful video. You even know when we are struggling and post the right video! Thank you for all your sharing of your talent. Now, I am normally getting ready to retire with a book about now (give me a break people, I’m old and cold in Australia) but I have to go through my 12” X 12” stock papers to pick starters for tomorrow’s first session. Happy Journaling All.
The fun is, you can incorporate ALL your craftiness and skills in a journal! All the little swaps and scraps you ever made and never put to use find a great treasure chest in a little book....
This is why I love her videos. I have gotten some great ideas, and a lot of her journals seem to be designed for writing - which is my issue with a lot of the 'junk journal' community on UA-cam. ( Most of the time, the pages are all highly decorated scraps and images, and people are expected to do a lot of writing on one or two little cards or pull-outs.) I also love being able to transfer some of those scrapbooking and cardmaking skills over to something new.
I’m always at a loss for adjectives and adverbs to use to describe how much I love your videos, the projects that you make and the way you teach so I’ll just say….wonderful! Amazing! Perfect! Etc etc. 🥰
I almost didn’t want to commit 49 minutes to ‘another craft video’ but glad I did. Now I know what to do with the 2 giant storage bins of 12x12 fancy papers I’ve inherited from various past lives. Your instructions are well thought out. Thank you.
Natasa, not only do you have THE BEST paper crafting tutorials on UA-cam, you really do have the most beautifully manicured nails on UA-cam as well. I’m always noticing how nice your natural nails look, so I figured I’d just mention it! ❤😊
Natasa is excellent at explaining every process, tips & tricks, etc. Some people's tutorials are either super fast or too slow and drawn out. Natasa has a beautiful happy medium with explaining if you will. 👏🙌👍☺. And I appreciate her sense of humor! LOVE IT! 🤣😆😁❤
I know right? Made one but didn't decorate the cover. Then made 4 more covers and finished one completely, with the little doors on the front!! I'm absolutely hooked!!!
Personally this is my favourite craft video of all time so far. I have made five of these with different variations. It's not just the craft - it's how you share the process and talk us through. Thank you!
I love these!! I've only met 1 person that knows what a junk journal is. After 4yrs my girlfriend told me she read an article, junk journals were mentioned... She didn't know they were that main stream. 🤣😂 These will be great intro to journals!!
My favourite is the "shirt" one. What I most appreciate about your videos is that you show the end product first. None of that having to scroll around in a video to see what you're actually making. So thank you 😊
Yes, yes! Show a finished one, and give the measurements, for heavens sake! Yes again to no music, no barking pets, etc. True story: A young lady, at the start of her video, pointed out how sad she was about the noticeable zit on her face (kill me now). Can you believe it?
I was sitting on the sofa watching, then I decided to get up and make a cover. I really like the way it turned out. I like the cover with the two envelopes. It's different, and I think that is what drew my eyes to it. I'll make the signature later in the morning. It's about 2 am here and I don't want to be playing with anything Sharpe at this time of the morning. 😮
💕Natasa I can't tell you how MUCH I appreciate your videos! Not only do you create amazing paper crafts, you really take the time to teach us HOW to make them too! And your videos are so well shot, great lighting, no silly intros or useless background music--just straight to class--as it should be! I have never walked into an actual classroom and had a teacher turn on background music while they teach--it is so distracting! THANK YOU SO MUCH for putting so much time and energy into your crafting and your videos!🤗I never regret the time I spend here!🤗I purchased your book on Amazon too. I actually got it in the spiral binding which makes it so easy to turn from project to project.
I hadn’t even realised it was so long. She is one of the few UA-camrs for whom I never skip any of the video. She is never boring and knows how to pace her videos to keep people entertained.
I agree with the previous comments. Your creative designs, your presentations, your videos, you’re wonderful sense of humor and use of words surely make you one of the very best presenters on UA-cam. I watch everything I find of yours.
I haven't reached minute 2 yet and I'm already totally thrilled. The beginning of your video - no long talk, just a short and crisp explanation of what it's all about - I LOVE it!
My 50+ year old daughter used to say, "the most beautifulest", when she was little and that seems to say it all, thank you for everything you do for us 😊
Hello beautiful lady!! The little things you do, inking and trimming extra paper, tape AND glue, set your journals apart from the rest. You are such an excellent teacher - a favorite of mine for YEARS! HUGS, Natasa, from the Midwest, USA, MK 🤗❤️🤗
Thank you so much Sweet Natasha, I truly appreciate your kindness and encouragement to help us be successful, and your so fun!! And I appreciate your Time also...I hope that you and your family had a wonderful holiday Filled with wonderful Memories to keep close to your heart..Have a Beautiful Blessed Week ❤
I love your videos I’m a beginner and I love the humor you put in the video your great at this and my goal is to be as good as you are I’m making thirty for the widows in our church I do something for them every month and this is their Christmas present from me in the name of Jesus so Thank You so much for sharing with me
Just gave one of these to a friend for her birthday. She loved it! She looked at each card and piece of ephemera I put in the pockets. I also made myself one using paper I dyed for the journal pages. I do lots of paper crafts.
Your video is timed perfectly! I had very few 12x12s in my stash; fortunately I found a 12x12 scrapbook paper Kit at a nearby thrift store just a few days ago. It includes all kinds of ephemera such as small & big letters & numbers, envelopes, tags, labels (all of which just require being pushed out of the page, not cut out... what is that called 🤔?) It also has thin paper, & cardstock paper. It's called Great Outdoors. I paid $5.00 Canadian. Instead of making one huge journal with all of these treasures, I'll make several smaller ones! It doesn't seem so overwhelming now... thank you, Natasa! 😘
Natasa- I personally liked the GOLD pen & velcro option because I like to keep a pad of paper/booklet in my truck at hand for when I'm running errands. I find I'm constantly needing to write reminders/food items/pet stuff/thoughts/ miscellaneous things down and I'm also FOREVER digging in my purse or console looking for a pen!!! I surely would keep a journal pad like this in my vehicle. 😊 👏📒🖋📃✏📙 Great idea.
I have never seen that S knot at the middle of a signature before, I love it! it looks so nice and will make me feel that the sewing i even more secure! this is a great project.
Thank you! I want to start journaling but I was afraid to. Too many look like there’s no rhyme or reason. I want mine to have words of wisdom that I can hand down to my grandkids. Blessings, Bible verses, life lessons and words of encouragement. Yours are so creative and beautiful! I think a journal should not only be artistic but uplifting.
“Can and will be used against you in a court of….” Beautiful Natasha!! This is JUst what I’m looking to do to get back into my favorite craft!! Making thank you gifts for a few lovely gals. Thank you Natasha❤❤❤❤❤EASY IS KEY!!
When making the cover, you cut out the pieces near the top & bottom spine. What if you don't cut it all off? If you left a tab at top & bottom of the spine, then fold those tabs & glue, it could make ends of spine stronger. Just an idea. All those journal's are beautiful! Thanks for inspiration you always give us! ❤
You are a very good demonstrator/teacher/explainer of "how-to". So enjoyed this video even though I don't make junk journals but can certainly apply to other tasks.
I love this Natasha. I sometimes lose my interest in paper crafts and journaling then I watch your videos and you get me inspired again! Thank you for that!
I just wanted to let you know that I followed this tutorial to the letter, apart from the eyelets sadly as my setter wasn’t long enough, and mine turned out really well! I was so proud of myself but then you are the best of teachers and I thank you very much indeed. Love your videos and thank you for the time you devote to them and us, bless you ❤🏴🌻🫶🏼
I tried making the journal today. The first one didn't turn out so good but did a couple more and I just love these. I'm going to be making more. Thanks so much for your tutorials.
The reinforcement bit was new to me. Very clever and practical! Such pretty little folders! I have a feeling I will make a whole bunch of them! TFS 🤗🕊️
For the pencil/pen use a tiny magnet , you can hide under washy tape on the pen and under a round paper or such in the cover. I found some really flat and tiny at a craft fair yesterday at the GASC event in the states.
Beautiful! I love them all, but you asked for our favourites. My first choice is the red one, love the little door on the front. Second choice is the one with the pen as I like the idea of having a pen at the ready. Third choice is the one with the little notebook in the pocket. With all that being said, they are all gorgeous and I would be thrilled to receive any one of them. Thank you for the awesome inspiration, I really enjoyed this video!
Love these! My favorite is the one with the mini journal on the front. Maybe it’s the colors it’s made of that are pleasing to me!! Thanks and sending blessings from Ohio.
Thank you Natasha for expiring me every time I watch/ listen to you!!! Also thank you for not matching EVERY little thing you use!!! If I was introduced to journaling by someone else I would think I couldn’t afford it!! Thanks for making it possible for everyone!!
Hello Natasa.... Thank you for your inspiring videos. I'm a longtime crafter, but have never really worked with paper. Tonight, I made my very first journal and all thanks to you!!!! Another plus, you have a rescue fur baby! Ours is such a big part of our lives. You now have a fan for life!
Natasha, I love your tutorials. I think this booklet is so stinking cute and you think of things that I would’ve never thought of like giving the curve to the little birdies pocket on the inside of the little booklet. I love your creativity, You’re truly an inspiration. 💕😊
Absolutely love this idea I'm going to work on some today. Great idea using the tiny eyelets, now I just have to remember where I put them and probably the eyelet setter you used, yep have that too just don't use it often. Very easy tutorial to follow, thanks a bunch, Patti
Natasha, your vids are definitely inspiring; it is encouraging me to use up those 12x12 Michaels scrapbook paper pads. I may tweak the bottom pockets by adding two 1/8” scored lines to give my pocket some depth. Loved all your journals!!🎉❤ Thank you so much!💜🤩👍🏾🥰🙏🏾
I love these journals, I am very inspired. A great easy cover that you can embellish how you wish and add your signature. Thanks for sharing, I will be using up a lot of my 12 x 12 scrapbook papers to make journals!
Thank you so much for another fabulous journal tutorial!! Your directions are easy to follow too. I never thought junk journals would be something I would enjoy until I subscribed to your channel ❤
This was such a lovely tutorial, simply stunning and i made one, was so easy and the lady who received it absolutely loved it... so THANKS for this, i will definitely be making many more of these in the near future 👌⚘️🎶👏
These will be perfect for a Christmas recipe journal that I want to do for each member of my family. It will be big enough to hold all of the cookie recipes we bake each Christmas. It will also allow for new recipes to be added and photos added for each year. Thank you so much!
I watched this video this morning and as I use a fountain pen, I attached a leather pen pouch I made using coloured split pins and a couple of stitches to fasten it to the front cover before putting it all together. Thank you for your inspiring video!
Your instructions are precise and perfectly explained. The little details matter. Typically, when I try an art project i find on UA-cam, i make a lot of adjustments as i go along. With yours, all i have to do is follow the steps and without any stress, voila!, it's done! Thank you! It becomes easier to loosen up and be creative with the second try.
Love this, so inspiring made me want to make all of them. Love that the journals are not too big and bulky and you made them look so easy to make. Beautifully journals. 😍
This is such a helpfull video. I have not made a journalT yet but ready to get started. I can't seem to get my head around how to angle the cuts. I have watched people on videos doing it but still can't 'see' it. Your template that you made is very helpfull. I took a screenshot so I can follow it and hopefully get it right in my mind once and for all. I really like the look of using the ilets too on any size of spine, giving it a more cleaner finished look.
I loved these beautiful, quick and easy to make journals. The red one you demonstrated is my favorite but i truly love them all. It is such a joy and comforting to listen to your fabulous tutorials. Great job girl, keep them coming.
I love them all, but I think the last one with the opening "doors" is most interesting to me. I like the idea of a pen, and I think the one you made is just fine. ❤❤
I’m in love with I used to scrapbook but I ended up with more stuff than anyone could ever use. This is the answer. You have given me a new idea for my creativity. I can’t wait to get started. Your instructions are so helpful. Thanks
Natasa you are the one who got me into making journals. I have migraines and nerve damage . When you said we didn't have to go and buy alot of things. That did it for me. I like some of the digitals. I don't have a lot of money. You said use what you have. Books and magazines and paper i do have. I love your voice, it comes me and you are funny. And I love your work. That you.
I enjoyed watching you create the journal. It seems easy to make. I like them all but my favorite one is the red one. Thanks for sharing and inspiration.
When I watch your videos I feel like I’m honestly in the presence’s of Einstein, genius and greatness! 😂 You’re the Einstein for creativity! My favorite journal you made in this video was the red one with the blue butterfly ! I ❤the way you used an old 💿 cd, so smart. You are an Awesome teacher and I love how detailed you are, everything comes out so perfect, neat and sharp. 👏 😊 🦋Thank you for sharing!

Wishing you well ❤❤
You always make beautiful and neat journals. xxx😊

SAME!! 👏🏻👍🏼❤️
Thank you so very much ❤️❤️❤️🤗
we need a thesaurus!!!
Ialso agree❤
I almost didn’t want to commit 49 minutes to ‘another craft video’ but glad I did. Now I know what to do with the 2 giant storage bins of 12x12 fancy papers I’ve inherited from various past lives. Your instructions are well thought out. Thank you.

I was thinking the same thing. Beautiful hands & nails.

Thank you so much!
I can already see how addicting making these will be.
It's a toss up- I like the one with the 2 envelopes and twine and the red one with the door.
Yaaaay! Thanks for watching :)
I really appreciate the accompanying white page sketch that you show. Clarifies the steps a lot.
💕Natasa I can't tell you how MUCH I appreciate your videos! Not only do you create amazing paper crafts, you really take the time to teach us HOW to make them too! I actually got it in the spiral binding which makes it so easy to turn from project to project.
I can't believe I watched a 49 minute video all the way through; so rare for me. I am so interested in doing this. Thank you for the inspiration!
I was going to say the same thing! ❤
Yay! thank you so much :)
I hadn’t even realised it was so long. She is one of the few UA-camrs for whom I never skip any of the video. She is never boring and knows how to pace her videos to keep people entertained.
@@plan4life I think it’s because we’re crafty to begin with!!
I also watched the whole video an loved every second!!!! I can’t wait to make one myself!!!
I agree with the previous comments. Your creative designs, your presentations, your videos, you’re wonderful sense of humor and use of words surely make you one of the very best presenters on UA-cam. I watch everything I find of yours.

My 50+ year old daughter used to say, "the most beautifulest", when she was little and that seems to say it all, thank you for everything you do for us 😊
Love that! Thank you so much :)
Such a great idea to use those less loved 12x12 papers. Love your no nonsense teaching style. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
I was thinking the same thing about some of my non favorite papers. Adding the embellishments on the front will totally transform the original paper.
I rarely comment, as others have already said it all before me, so I’ll just say thank you so much. 😀😀😀
Not only your ideas are great but you are a great teacher
Thank you so much 😀

Yes, I've been waiting for it to pop up.
My Sunday night viewing in bed before I go to sleep.
It's a nice way to start a new week...
Enjoy! Thank you
You are a genius at your craft! There has never been an episode that I haven't thoroughly devoured and just want more of. Thanks, ❤Natasha.🎉

for expiring me every time I watch/ listen to you!!! Also thank you for not matching EVERY little thing you use!!! If I was introduced to journaling by someone else I would think I couldn’t afford it!! Thanks for making it possible for everyone!!
Thank you so much for another thorough and simple to follow tutorial. I've always loved your written instructions.
Thank you!
Nastasa: my favorite one is the arch doors (cover). Design, colors, and creativity is perfect. Great project! Carol from California
So eine schöne Idee. Ich kann leider kein Englisch, aber du erklärst es so gut das man alles verstehen kann. Danke dafür.😍💖💖💖👍👍👍
Natasha, I love your tutorials. I think this booklet is so stinking cute and you think of things that I would’ve never thought of like giving the curve to the little birdies pocket on the inside of the little booklet. I love your creativity, You’re truly an inspiration. 💕😊
Only a minute in and I want each and every one of these! Ok, back to watching so I can attempt to make something in the ballpark!
Thanks for making the journal slow enough so I could follow the process . Inspired to make these for sale at our monthly craft fair. Thanks again
Wonderful! I hope you have fun!
Absolutely love this idea I'm going to work on some today. Great idea using the tiny eyelets, now I just have to remember where I put them and probably the eyelet setter you used, yep have that too just don't use it often. Very easy tutorial to follow, thanks a bunch, Patti
Man......I just love this quick and easy journal from 1 sheet of 12×12. TFS
Glad you like it!

The one with the pen is WONDERFUL!
Thank you ❤️
Natasha you make the most Beautiful Things you are so Gifted Love watching you createTFS!😊
Natasha, your vids are definitely inspiring; it is encouraging me to use up those 12x12 Michaels scrapbook paper pads. I may tweak the bottom pockets by adding two 1/8” scored lines to give my pocket some depth. Loved all your journals!!🎉❤ Thank you so much!💜🤩👍🏾🥰🙏🏾
I put a strip of washi tape in the inside of the spine for reinforce it before I added the eyelets.
Thank you so much! That makes me so happy
This was such a lovely tutorial, simply stunning and i made one, was so easy and the lady who received it absolutely loved it... so THANKS for this, i will definitely be making many more of these in the near future 👌⚘️🎶👏

You are the artist who inspired me to create junk journals. Thank you so much for expanding my creative mind.
Oh I ❤Sundays and I see your newest creation! Just another one I just have to make 😁❤️
Yay! Thank you!
I absolutely love your ideas! Don't be so hard on yourself, any of your ideas will be wonderful! !
Just in case the other 456 comments haven’t mentioned that you are brilliant, talented, amazing, loved this tutorial, I thought I would tell you.😂👍😂
Thank you so much :)
These will be perfect for a Christmas recipe journal that I want to do for each member of my family. It will be big enough to hold all of the cookie recipes we bake each Christmas. It will also allow for new recipes to be added and photos added for each year. Thank you so much!
New video! Yay!!! 😊😊😊
Hope you enjoy it!
@@TreasureBooks Also, I found a box of small mailing labels at a thrift store for only $2 US. I’ve been painting them! It’s a super fun project 😊😊😊
Your style and your sense of humor is addictive…that is all I am going to say because I have to go start making journals❤😂
I love to watch a master at her craft!
I cannot pick a favorite journal. They are all wonderful.
ANOTHER WINNER!!!!! Thank you so much for your ideas, teaching and kindness. "You are one special person!" You ALWAYS inspire me.
Thank you so much!
Love this, so inspiring made me want to make all of them. Love that the journals are not too big and bulky and you made them look so easy to make. Beautifully journals. 😍
Thanks so much! 😊
I have signed up for 2 craft sales this Christmas! These journals will be perfect and lots of time to start working on these! Thank you❤️📕🇨🇦
I love them all, but I think the last one with the opening "doors" is most interesting to me. I like the idea of a pen, and I think the one you made is just fine. ❤❤
Thank you so much :)
That you.
They're gorgeous, and so much detail goes into making each and every one.
I enjoyed watching you create the journal. It seems easy to make. I like them all but my favorite one is the red one. Thanks for sharing and inspiration.
I absolutely love this! Your instructions are fabulous and your designs and embellishments are just yummy!!! Thank you!
