I love this guy and they have much better dresses for waaaayy affordable price in budget compared to all other "yes to the dress" versions.

the ivy fully agree the first dress with a veil etc. would have been so fabulous and she was so comfortable in it and felt like it’s THE dress asap-second dress was not complimentary for her bust (too lose and low) nor figure
the ivy But the third one matched her the most. It hugged her figure the best and was honestly beautiful.

I think a lot of them are doing it with the best of intentions. They want their friend/sister/daughter/mother to look gorgeous on their wedding day and they don't want their loved one to settle for less.
Obviously not to take away that it is the bride's choice in the end but more often than not they are doing it because they want their loved one to look incredible on their big day.
