Nice, well edited video.I live in Leeds and the redevelopment here is amazing, but when you see what's happening in Manchester, it's like wow, just wow. They've really gone for it and it shows.

Great video again Reecy, i hope Renaker start to build a different style of building and use variety of cladding.All the buidings they erect all look the same it's getting a bit boring now.
@davidsivills3599 Thank you so much for watching, yes I agree with you, it's getting repetitive, but they're building taller, lighthouse is soon to be erected and that'll be 213m! I wish they'd think abit more out of the box though like with Beetham Tower (Hilton) 🙂❤️

👀 Watch for:-
👉 Lamington Hotels have been given permission to build their eco-tower in Piccadilly next to the listed and derelict bank.
👉 Viadux2 at 76 storeys is planned to be the highest residential building in Europe but English Heritage objected to it. Decision delayed. Salboy/Domis.
Please note Darren Whitaker (Renaker) was born a tyke!
Renaker have been given permission for 5 more towers.
At New Jackson with 360 is a planned 70 storey tower.
Two 50-ish storey towers.
Two 40-ish storey towers.
Two of the towers above, also at New Jackson. (Not including Contour Towers.)
Most if not all the residential towers are built with students in mind and priced accordingly for graduates. 🎓
Manchester & Salford has the highest number student campus in Europe. 🎓
Also make note of the following.
👉 Echo Street/Vimto Park (near Piccadilly Station) three student towers being built by Bowmer Kirkland.
👉 The Two Fairfax towers being built just East of PiccadillyStn. If you're going to Mcr City Football Club to see the 9 storey towers there and the Co-op Live Arena, the largest indoor arena in Europe, you probably pass the Fairfax towers.
Not far from Acer Tower in your video, plans are in for :-
👉 Hotspur Press Tower (students) Cambridge Street. Passed by council but subject (currently) to an objection.
👉 Jadebricks Tower on Charles Street (students) , passed by council.
👉 Near Viadux2 on Whitworth Street West with Vision Tower. The scheme went into administration but the plot bought by a developer new to Manchester for £16m that plan a tower of their own.
Last week Glenbrook announced their plans next door on Whitworth Street West for a 44(?) storey tower (Sheppard Robson).
Meanwhile at Greengate, Salford what happens with One Heritage Tower who knows? As far as I know it's passed planning permission.
👉 Next door on Gorton Street another tower passed planning. 40-ish floors (?). It will be, apparently, the first co-living development in Salford.
👉 Alberton House, St. Mary's Parsonage, an office tower (Bruntwood) is already underway with the original building being demolished to make way.
👉 Next to Alberton House is New Bailey House which is also due to be replaced by another office tower. Check them out.
👉 Port Street Tower, Ancoats, is well under construction. 👍
👉 Also NXQ in Ancoats plans have been submitted for this jaw-dropper tower.

Finally, near the Ordsall Chord, are Middlewood Locks, some of which has been developed but intriguingly the final section has had various towers planned so one to keep your eyes on. 👀

At 4.38 is the second of the Trinity Islands. Currently car park due to have two towers 3 & 4, of diamond section. Whereas 1 & 2 are curved. 🙂

Great tour as ever. Just a couple of points - us Mancs refer to it all as town and never really say Salford; the Trinity Islands tower topping out is the 55 storey one, the 60 storey one is at level 10 at the mo; Hulme Park is pronounced like it rhymes with Yoom park. Yes your video was worth watching and waiting for. Hope your next visit to Manchester is hassle-free. Thanks for doing and posting and keep em coming.

Hey Reece, what is favourite city. Leeds or Manchester?
@GaryWaltonthebigwobbleorg Hello, oh that's a hard one! I like Leeds because of the variety of different architecture and how closer everything is to the city centre. On the other hand, Manchester has much bigger scale buildings and has a New York feel to it. Both cities are great, but I have more hope for Leeds because it's in my county, so it's my local really... That said Manchester is the same distance, I really don't know! 🤣
