When I first saw the thumbnail, I didn't think that this was made with Mega parts. This build is genuinely so flawless that it looks like a proper model kit!
The different shades of greenish gray of the various parts creates a wonderful gradient effect, it looks like real metal, like different plates fitted to each other.
I knew a darker green would make the Halo 3 style pelican look nicer, always thought the Pelican in 3 looked far too light. This thing is brilliant, absolutely love it.
The one thing I would love to see, and while its really not in the style of Mega or general MOCs, is getting a custom canopy 3D printed, Unless it can be brick built with appropriate transparent panels, I think it would look absolutely fire.
While I agree with you and think it could be/look cool, I think it’d take away from the spirit of moc building. I think most builders want to keep it all built and not printed bc it’s a testament to their creativity, keeping everything coherent and a fun challenge that they welcome
As someone coming to the end of a massive design project myself, I can truly appreciate the time and effort that goes into something like this. Keep up the good work, you have a great talent!
When you brought up the magnetic rack, I couldn't help but cringe. Not because I don't like it, but because in Halo Infinite, 343 got rid of the magnetic rack (IN A SCIFI GAME) in favor of cables because they were, "more realistic".... Not to mention that in Halo 4 they ALSO changed the original suspension on the Warthog to make it, "more realistic" as well. I kinda hate 343.
Ah dude this is so awesome! I’ve been making my own halo reach pelican since last November, but it’s so incredible to see the halo 3 model in all it’s glory
I have no words, this is truly one of the most impressive things I’ve seen in regards of the Halo Mega community. One of those videos you click the like button before even watching it. I know it would take an insane amount of time, pieces and maybe money, but please, consider making a Longsword.
What it's crazy is that you were able do build all this with so few Lego pieces, especially since the moment that there are no sites for Megaconstrux pieces like Bricklink for Lego pieces, I can't imagine the patience in collecting all those parts Really admiring at the beggining I thought it was a Revell kit or something like that Here you can really appreciate the quality of Megaconstrux pieces Mattel should invest more in it Extraordinary
Great engeering! Which I like picking up halo mega blocks mysteries every now and again... and I disagree about 30% of the time their is a major QC issue something I don't see from Chinese not legos even... Which those are just weakers and not as precise legos... Though this video and your hard work has inspeared me to look into what Mega is doing.
Halo Infinite’s is also a pretty nice pelican design. Dude, seriously, this is insane. You’re like crazy talented, both in the building bits and the editing, cinematography, and everything in between.
This is amazing. Dunno how you do it. If I may, I have one point of feedback. I think the angling of the cockpit bars running vertically up want to be facting inwards a bit more. The angling of the cockpit framing on the in-game Pelican goes slightly inwards. I imagine you probably already know this but have found it challenging to recreate that difficult angling in MEGA form, so ignore this if it's already proved impossible. Doesn't ruin anything the way it is anyway. Everything else is perfect in my opinion and your video is very well put together
I’m not sure entirely how it would be done, but if you still wanted some “glass” for the canopy piece, I would suggest some clear plastic like from packaging and some light adhesive, something not too permanent and easy to clean up if removed. I really love this. As you already know, we have our differences in art style choices, but you do very much help me appreciate more and more Halo art and models along with the upscaling from MCC. Great job!
Damn, 10 seats in the cargo bay is like a dream. Makes me hurt even more when MEGA's latest pelican only has one 😭Hope they bring back the 4 seats in the next one
It is really incredible that you were able to create a lego UGC pelican. I have a fascination with the pelican and the way you constructed the pelican is really fantastic. Every single detail is just there waiting for us to see. Good job tho! However rip the branded version of the pelican in the market.
OH LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Edit: Holy cow! That is one big fly boy!! It looks incredible. Some of my favorite features from this are the cockpit space and the troop bay that can fit your mongoose. I especially love when you're showing off the troop bay (from certain angles of course) it almost looks like there are lights that shine down on the bay, giving it an almost cinematic feel to it. How much do you think it cost to make it, do you plan on making instructions for these UCS MOC's, and please tell me you'll do a scarab leg?
How do you buy separate Mega Blocks pieces? I know for Lego we have places like Bricklink, but I bought a Mega Block Eevee and made a few modifications using pieces from the set, I asked for 3 more pieces to finish the mods, through the spare pieces service but I never received a reply. Anyways this is an insane moc! Looking at the thumnail I had no idea it was brick built. It’s genuinely perfect.
my dream as a kid was to fly/ride in the back of the pelican like the back opening part, i spent hours on each halo game trying to get back into pelicans after jumping out, and also spent hours doing every pelican out of map glitch possible, non were flyable except the halo reach one and it wasnt all that.
This is so sick, and of the best Pelican rendition imo. Halo 3 truly nailed the aesthetic for UNSC and Covenant vehicles, the perfect balance of realism and aesthetics. I would wager it has the most realistic (according to lore) Pelican ever seen in Halo, with the Halo 2 Pelican coming in close. The Halo Reach (and Infinite) Pelican, while being very sleek and slender, really did away with a lot of the believable design traits- most notably the dual exhausts on the swiveling engines, which imo makes the aircrafts function much less believable. The cockpits are also just atrocious.
Literally so glad that the youtube algorithm recommended me your channel! As a halo fan, watching your vids satisfies me. P.s. can you make a cobra? thx :)
I am so jealous and so down bad for such a gorgeous MOC, you're the best and I'm so happy you shared this video with all of us and I wouldn't mind a long video, either. Such a project deserves that kind of time.
I 3D printed a bunch of different types of pelicans I gave a nice makeover in blender and some nice paint jobs. One occupies every table in my house. At the end of every work week I load up extinction just to fly the CE pelican around, it flies the smoothest out of all the others in every game.
I clicked on the video thumbnail expecting something mid, and I was ready to skip and close the video... but was very glad to watch the whole thing The model itself is exceptionally good, but the video editing is also top
I called it! Also really nice builds! You are literally the best Mega Mocs UA-camr I’ve ever seen! Keep up these awesome Mocs! Also I want a shadow, and a ghost pls that’d be really cool!
When I was little I dreamed of someday having a Lego Pelican, one day ill buy either a set or a bunch of pieces and make my own one, absolutely amazing work!
Your builds look so beautiful and achieve that nostalgic look that’s just so awe inspiring! When I see these builds, it takes me back to the golden days of halo 3 and being a careless teen. You legitimately inspire me to start moc building, but Idk where or how to amass so many mega pieces or any techniques that you utilize. Would you ever consider doing some videos that teach the techniques you use and how to implement them into our own builds as well as stating your method/sources for obtaining a large amount of bricks?
As a wise man once said "PELICAN AHHHHH" Though the Pelican is my favorite halo vehicle. I remmeber spending so much time looking for videos on how to be able to fly it as a kid on UA-cam. Especially halo 2, though, of course not possible without mods and me being a kid at the time not understanding what those were. I did also build one out of lego as a kid, but of course not as detailed as yours.
@@HaloReforger I remember making the cockpit in the halo 2 style, then played halo 3 right after and was mad at having to change it to the halo 3 style one ha ha. Of course this was before the halo wiki and the like really took off so cut scenes were the main references I used. Of course Outskirts was the main reference with all the shots inside. I also remember being annoyed at how the warthog is attached in game. The turret clipping into the fuselage, or how the scorpion clips into the troop bay doors a bit. Though Halo Legends showing how the scorpion carried backwards made more sense realistically. Though for the warthog, I could see it being transported without the turret in most cases and then having to attach the turret on the ground. Though of course that has it own host of issues.
You could actually get this together as a 3rd party Lego kit and sell it as your own design. And with how many pieces are needed and how complex it is, you can charge a pretty penny for the kit. Granted you're going to need to make a box design and include an instruction manual with it. The instruction manual tbh is going to be the hardest part of the process due to how complex the kit is but you only have to do it once and then start charging people at least $300 for the kit.
from what i could see (from the scale of the minifigs inside the cockpit [I also haven't watched the entire vid yet {as of the time I'm making this comment}]) it looks like it could fill up an entire shelf alone on my lego shelf (I need more shelves if I get more lego and "lego" creations)
Insane build though I would like to know how the bricks hold up, as bk in the day pretty much all the mega blocks kits I had gotten fell apart while building or wouldn’t actually fit together
You should have taken notes on each and every piece you put together. Aunt and made an instruction manual and then you should have sent it the mock-up of pieces. You might have had the 3D print or special order and send it to Lego building company and you might have as well tried to get yourself a sponsor for these videos as well as giving them ideas to add to their Lego selling kits to sell
This is so insane bro, I like it so much this pelican and the details you put it, I think is a little big compared to the figures but is still so awesome. A really masterpiece :D
Duuuuude holy shit!!!!!! Also why does it still kinda look super cool with out the top half, it kinda looks like some sort of drop shuttle or something!
you should do the vulture i think thats a cool halo ship mega has made 1 and i wish they would remake it id like to reboot the series with better mechanics instead of tryna make something so differen't yet tryna make it the same.
Seriously dude, literally the best halo moc out there, and I’ve seen a ton
Have you seen Brickman117’s ultimate pelican drop ship?
I love this moc but that award has to go Brickman117's Banished AA gun, its absolutely insane.
When I first saw the thumbnail, I didn't think that this was made with Mega parts. This build is genuinely so flawless that it looks like a proper model kit!
Praying for bro's wallet😭🙏🙏
It's megablocks so I wouldn't worry that much
Bros gonna build the whole of high charity soon
This one is god tier mate I would like to see a phantom one day!!!
Me too! The Phantom is even bigger though so I'm not sure I'll even have room for it.
the not consistant color of mega blocks make this look somehow better then if it was a solid color.
The different shades of greenish gray of the various parts creates a wonderful gradient effect, it looks like real metal, like different plates fitted to each other.
I agree, that really stood out to me. Great design.
The Pelican, Warthog, and Master Chief himself are probably most iconic things to come out of Halo
Naw the grunt wat you sain bruh lol jk
Energy sword?
Needler?
no way! as if they are the face of halo itself and the fuckton of merchandise! holy shit, really?!
That is a seriously good Pelican, very nicely done. 👏
When brickman117 himself says it, you know its a job well done
I was hoping you saw this! Very cool! Mad respect!

I agree, and a 3D printed part would probably be blurry, same with brick built
I think if it were like an inlay to rest underneath the Mega pipes then it would preserve the spirit of it's brick-built nature!
I’m a Lego dude but wow this is sick, coolest moc I’ve seen this year
As someone coming to the end of a massive design project myself, I can truly appreciate the time and effort that goes into something like this. Keep up the good work, you have a great talent!
Dang…honestly, Mega should have hired you to make a special edition of the Pelican. That thing is amazing!
This is absolutely incredible!! Great video and great build 🙌
I grew up playing with a lot of legos but I always appreciated that mega minifigs had so much more range of movement and detail to them.
Mega isn’t my thing personally, but as a fellow moc creator I absolutely respect the craft and this model is just insane

Yes do a comparison to the Pelican Inbound. Your videos are amazing.
A would loveee to watch a Phantom scaled at that size. Nice job man!!
Ah dude this is so awesome! I’ve been making my own halo reach pelican since last November, but it’s so incredible to see the halo 3 model in all it’s glory
Blown away yet again! STELLAR job my friend!
You don't have the firepower.
But I have the mass.

Exactly. Whilst they do have a different feel to Lego, I would no longer say that they're flat out worse especially in the last 10 years
Loving these episodes!!
Scarab. Maybe banished so you have more parts.
I need instructions.
You made a masterpiece!!!
An Elephant?
God this was better than porn
I wish mocs like this would be made into actual sets. I'd love to have a pelican this detailed and big.
This has quickly become one of my favorite channels and this build Is justo spectacular
I gotta see your moc at a convention man. you're so talented!
Do they even let non-Lego into those? 🤔

I wonder how long it takes you just to build these incredible pieces of art?
do you have instructions for this amazing moc would love to build it and make 1 my own
