So as some of you already know I'll be going on a holiday this friday. I'm currently trying to pre-record some footage so you can still enjoy a few crash compilations while I'm away! I don't think I'm able to gather enough clips to make the compilations 10 min+. So you can expect that the upcoming 4-5 uploads are going to be around the 6-7 min mark! It's mostly going to be IL-2 GB with maybe one DCS compilation inbetween.
True and I don’t mind pre-records there just the same but weren’t done in the same day or the day after that *sorry if it doesn’t make sense*
Hay just curious what type of software or game to you use to create this type of stuff.

And no, actually it's realistic: the plane hit the ground with the wing, that detached and get destroyed, but the body and the rest of the plane were fine
2:38 Reminds me of a WWI story. A British pilot who flew the infamous Quirk tried to land but crashed into a tree upside down. A nearby artillery officer ran to the pilot as he pulled himself free and the first words out of his mouth were: I say, did you crash?
The pilot immediately and glibly responded: No you fool I always land upside down. It just so happens the tree caught me this time.

It adds to your render time to add "motion blur" so try this: replace the geometry of the propeller with a mostly-transparent disc texture-mapped to show prop striping. Include the motion-blur in your UVW mapping by creating texture maps already blurred, give them a few turns in your finished render to take the artifact 'curse' off the footage.

Well this finally motivated me to install battle of Stalingrad that I bought during the crazy sales they had going on a month ago. The person I bought my gladiator mk2 from asked what game it was going to be for. I told him war thunder and he told me about the new IL-2. For it's time the originals graphics were phenomenal and I see they decided to set high standards for their game and aimed to meet them. Not sure why it's taken me so long, the guy gave me an invite so I can fly with a bunch of folks instead of solo in war thunder increasingly feeling like a fool for the years invested in it.
I remember playing the 2001 version as a Heinkel He 111 and both wings and tail stabilizers suddenly being eviscerated by flak so the plane looked like a giant pencil floating the air

Imagine how much soil would be lifted up when these planes hit the ground. I hope video games can eventually put that Into the game. It could change the whole dynamic of the fight. Fighting throughout plane trenches.

The dcs warbirds (ww2 planes) damage modelling is a bit similar to this, with the wings and stuff coming off after crashing

Eh, about the same. They use the same damage textures and stuff, and the crashes are just replays i think. This is pretty much the same as war thunder just a little less..'jumpy' i guess?
