To bad the damage model is limited, a direct hit to an engine from flak would blow it off or at minimum dislodge it from the frame and tear off. The one thing cliffs of Dover has over this is deeper damage modeling. Yeah it doesn't have the wing shear physics, and planes still explode when touching objects, but engines come off, panels fly off, massive holes form on the plane revealing the frame and components.

I have a suggestion: If flak is realistic in this game,and the maximum
altitude is 30000 meters,then make course corrections of at least 30
degrees or altitude changes of at least 1000 meters every 25 seconds.
Flak at that tame would take about 30 seconds to travel to 30000 meters.
That was so cool! Those white bombs do the most damage i think

As you can see, the Quadruple Flak's aren't shooting... IMO, no, even the Stuka is able to hit that target.

I just have one simple question.
I am new to IL 2 sturmovik and just bought the Battle of Stalingrad premium edition! (I saw your community post where you said it's on discount so thank you!) and I wanted to play the 'Heavy protected target' game, to test out how hard it is. But I don't know how you did that? Are the flaks somewhere on the map, or can you place them down? If yes, I don't know how, and ask for help. (sorry for my bad English, it isn't my first language). Love your videos, keep the great work up and have a great day.
I actually set this up in the full mission builder! There unfortunately isnt a place in the map where you can find this kind of dense flak
