- They've got the command team back together for a dangerous mission to return a surface sample from the asteroid Ryugu.
Based on the Hyabusa 2 Challenge this adventure is an out-of-the-box retelling of the real world mission by JAXA, using pure stock KSP craft and a reusable architecture.

Shuttle launch is at 1:28
Thank you very much for this entry, i'm currently reading and watching once again :p
**We need to go back**
Wait a second... That 2.5m landing can has a cargo bay???
@Charles B I knew about the rover version, but I never noticed that bay! That's awesome!
WHAAAAAT??? It really does? It's gamechanger for me :O
Always has been
Like the shuttle. It's like they took the old Space Shuttle and attached Sabre Engines to it so it can fly without the big External Tank or its Solid Rocket Boosters. Very cool!
That was the plan all along, I just needed a mission that was the right fit for it and here it is.
Its good to se theses videos again
There is a new stock enterprise but it requires making history
Didn't they do that already, Making history, when they chased the borg back to Cochrans time? ;~)
@@pegasusted2504 *Shrugs*
Wow really neat looking shuttle
Your crafts are great!
Glad this got recommended to me! You've gained yourself a new sub for sure
You'll be happy to know that there are lots of other similar videos on my channel and more on the way.
Great vid!
Just came here to say that I really enjoyed that!
Wow that shuttle is so cool,a SSTO Shuttle.
10/10
😮👍
How do you make that Earth-Textures-Thing?
It's a mod that they provide for the challenge - KSRSS and deadly reentry.
How did you get that asteroid in the game? It’s so cool!
What graphics mods you have have? it looks awesome
How exactly you got that shuttle into orbit is beyond me
Easy if it’s just about getting into orbit. The hard part is getting a shuttle with NERVA engines and lots of delta-v into orbit.
what's the name of the bgm while they return from the planet before re-entry to earth?
What's name of song playing at 4:55?
Maybe a dumb question but what is the name of the mod that makes these asteroids? (I dont like the stock ones because there just too small xD)
Did you put any fuel in the wings?
#JettQuasar can you at least link the SSRSS mod? Everything's outdated
ksrss?
What's the planet mod and the music?
Yeah what planet mod did he or she use
@@BananaBlaster64 KSRSS, a SSRSS alternative developped by french, will be release soon !
I want somebody to bring THAT rock to Kerbin! Is it possible??
Nope it is not, think about it as a tiny planet ;)
It says reusable but the interstage gets jetted?
The mission can be completed without the inter-stage. I added it for convenience - to avoid multiple long burns in the Earths shadow.
Jett Quasar I see... is there any way you might be able to bring it back to the shuttle instead of discarding it?
@@trackeraerospace Absolutely. the best way actually would be to incorporate it into the lander itself. I completed the mission with well over 10K Xenon left so there would be more than enough delta-V to drag that small extra weight with it.
Jett Quasar I was actually thinking of returning it to Kerbin orbit but your solution is much better and doesn’t require any extra fuel
@@trackeraerospace I just wish I would have thought of it before I made the video... Doh!
Why does it say earth. This is not RSS
The challenge requires KSRSS and deadly re-entry mods. Kerbin has been re-skinned to be like Earth.
@@JettQuasar oh. That explains how that thing got into orbit. Big fan of your star wars designs btw
This is a planet pack? You sure this is stock?
its kerbal sised real solar system, the craft is stock but the planets aren't delta v etc should stay roughly the same
