I have always pretty good and able to get good combat accuracy with a handgun. I shoot fairly quick when I practice at 3,5 and 7 yards. I have been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now. I can honestly say you are one of the few on youtube that I actually learn a little something each time I watch your videos. I have changed my grip ever so slightly after watching your videos on trigger control and recoil management. I was honestly shocked at the range yesterday, my accuracy and precision both improved. I did this exact drill after watching it a couple of times using the FBI target my hits were much better. I would shoot the head and then high thoracic I would vary it by shooting one of the squares or triangles on either side of the target. I was happy with my hits. I will definitely continue watching your channel and practice these things you are sharingwith us."We all"can never stop learning. I am 56 and always open to any good advice. You articulate your points in a easy to understand manner. Thanks
Fantastic video. Didn’t get a notification for the video because I was unsubscribed from the channel, but not by my own doing. Unfortunately you’re not the only channel this has happened too. Anybody else having this problem with gun related channels?
Makes total sense. The smaller A-zone is a small detail that I'm glad you have the wherewithal to bring up. I can assure you clinically that a GSW from any defense-caliber pistol with good defense ammo to this smaller A-zone, much less a rifle round, will be very effective.
Love the instruction. I have a lot to work on. Have to shave a second off. I like adding a malfunction drill and a dry fire penalty for misplaced rounds. "Breaking the line doesn't count!" On another note, could use another bourbon review.🥃👍
Just picked up some Modern Samurai targets and ran this on that target, used the head box with triangle/circle traced in and the upper A-zone box. It's spicy.
I printed these targets off and gave it a go. Shooting my EDCX9 and drawing from the holster my best time was 6.30 seconds. The dot is a pain to hit ...LOL! Its a fun drill though and has real world purpose so I'll keep trying.
Just printed out a few Eleanor targets for my range trip tomorrow. Will update with just how bad I did. Edit - was that a Hunt For The Red October quote you threw in there?
@@moostangvert good stuff. 've been doing the Eleanor lately, but previously I would take turns doing cold drills focused on accuracy like the no fail, and more cadence/rapid fire drill with reasonable group size.
The only guy on UA-cam that actually makes me want to come to his classes
You should check out Travis Haley
@@davidwarren719 meh
And John Lovell. And Lucas Botkin. And Spencer Keepers haha
Gotta catch em all!
A lot of more legit trainers (warrior poet, pat Mac, ronin tactics, sheepdog response, tactical rifleman etc.)
The Epstein drill is pretty good too
Michael 90 can’t do it yourself though,

10/10 t-shirt
Very cool drill, thank you for sharing that. I'm going to give it a try this weekend. Always enjoy the videos!!!
As a teacher, I thank you for supporting Bullets Both Ways! Maybe someday I'll be able to protect myself at work just as I do everywhere else.
Thanks for showing me this drill , Aaron.
Stellar! I love it. I will try this drill out. If I'm lucky I will attend a class too. This to me is training gold.
This looks like some good practice. It should prove to be very interesting.
Thanks for sharing this video!
Nice, glad you finally made a vid on this drill.
I really like this drill, a lot! I've ran it a few times during my range sessions.
So far the 1 to 5 drill is my favorite. Next time I'm at the range I will try this out

And more great info A lot of us don't think / practice hold over Thanks
It's like a F.A.S.Test without the reload, which seems very useful for transition training.
Excellent simple drill! One more thing for the practice toolbox...
Outstanding.
I think this concept would also work well for a precision rifle at 50 or 100 yards. In any case, I'm looking forward to trying it.
It's like a reverse Failure/Mozambique drill but slightly harder if you're going by Gabe White time standards

Hes a hell of a shot! Aaron, whats your current carry gun?
Pretty sure he carries a g17 aiwb all year round. Agency arms if I'm not mistaken.

Good stuff
Nice complement to and less ammo then the Baer solution drill
I like when Eleanor make up and down drill..
Nice!
Got a PDF? Pretty please? With sugar?
Nevermind. Found it on some website called sagedynamics.org 😎
@@spingarn That's a weird coincidence ;) Thanks for the tipp!
Anyone know where to get cardboard UTC targets? I normally order from Action or Challenge, but I don't see them at either website.
@ThatOneDude702 Just found it, Tac Drop UTC on targetsonline.com
@@EngagedSEN10R Ah, perfect. Thanks
The Mexican Celebration drill - shot of vodka and then empty your pistola into the air
I practice this one at least once a week. My roofing guy just bought a new Corvette with cash.
that shirt tho... so much yes
I love a small A zone.
What do you think of the new trex arms chameleon targets?
Trundeling Porpoise still 2 dimensional.
That shirt! 👍🏻🤣🤣
Do you get a patch/coin for doing this successful?
Do a review on the USS Liberty! I’ve heard a lot of different things, would love your opinion.
👍👍

pepper pots’ head is in the box. 😉
uncanny as I did this exact thing last weekend but more of a reversed fast drill
Have been getting 2.8 to 3.0 from conceal. Gotta to do better!
At least you're out shooting! Keep it up
@@moostangvert yup. I always try to remember to do this drill cold on range days.
@@hurricanepaul1 I usually start my sessions with a no fail drill. Always challenging!

Good movie...gotta chase that unicorn
That shirt 😂
11 Thumbs downs came here looking for Mustang references and left needing to buy more ammo. I came here looking for more reasons to get better.
Why Eleanor?
Early comment is early
This video stresses me...
Pansy
And he never explains the Eleanor name..
