Battlefield 1 seems to be the most detailed one, in that you have to lift up the top bullet on the clip and apply pressure to the back to get the bullets to load off of the clip.
Like almost everyone else, They forgot to make the cocking piece snap forward on each shot though. It should move a solid quarter inch. Mosins are LOUD when you dry fire them because they’ve got that strong spring and a lot of space to build up speed for detonating the primer.
Kai Flood actually thats my only gripe, I tried it with mine and I could kinda do it but it more just popped out and tumbled out the side rather than spring out like that.
If you mess with your interrupter/extractor and bend them right and file things right (if needed) and use correct clips and really shove the rounds in with authority it will pop out. More or less flop out yes, but these rifles are intended to work by popping the stripper clips out. Old springs will do that, my advice on how to keep your interrupter working right once you have it going well is to store the rifle without the bolt in it, the bolt while closed constantly puts pressure on that flat spring and bends it out of its correct shape.
You should see all 5 reload animations for the Mosin Nagant M91 in BF1. He only showed one, which shows both the 1st and 2nd reload animations in one as a combined 3rd animation while missing the 4th which is a trick reload. Plausable but hard to do that trick reload though.
I feel like that’s how all gold source engine shooters were like. Have really loud gunshots that will blow your eardrums to compensate for actual weapon power. You know to make it feel like your not shooting an mp5 but a fucking Browning.
It's been around since 1891, there are still combatants who use it today, and, if we take the Lindy effect to account: we can expect this rifle to continue being used on the battlefield until 2145.

That sound isn't great, but damn if it doesn't take you back to the days of World at War. WaW was amazing no matter how poor the sound design was. That sound is so unique and classic
One thing a lot of games don't take into account is that depending on what your surrounding is, shells might not clink when they fall. Like if you standing in the water or in thick grasses
Only Rising Storm Vietnam have a 100% agree reload. When you want "charge up" your magazine, and is not empty when you pull bolt back you will lost one ammo. (sorry for chaotic english xD)

Makes me a little angry when I see bad reload animations lol The Mosin speed stripper clip had to be manually removed before closing the bolt. I've owned 3 of these rifles in my life and all 3 are solid shooting, hard hitting, deer and boar slaying rifles but you still had to remove the stripper from the block before closing the bolt.
is it acceptable tho if one game shows the clip ejects automatically (like in Battlefield 1)? cuz I have seen a video where the clip does eject on itself after the rounds has been stripped into the mag. Bf1 is an 1891 mosin. All the others are the mosin 91/30’s, which are the newer versions of the 1891 mosin. So, it’s technically not the same rifle.
