So, if I am wrong about the Lord Jesus Christ as The Way, The Truth and The Life, then show me from your Qur'an where the power of your god Allah revealed in the works of your prophet Muhammad. Nothing. Muhammad never healed any sickness or diseases in his time, nor did he make one blind man see. If he was sent from the true God, shouldn't God gave his followers signs to prove that he's a messenger from God, as did Paul, Peter, James and some of the rest of the Apostles of Christ?

@@paeng46 The Quran is considered as one of Prophet Mohammad's (P&BBUH) many miracles anyway. Though, Isa (PBUH) got his "powers" from PERMISSION FROM GOD, and not out of thin air.
And just because he "never healed any sickness or diseases in his time, nor did he make one blind man see" doesn't mean he isn't a Prophet + you can't categorize God under these circumstances/ "signs"; Satan can also do these things too (I think, due to Jinn and Human connection or through Unholy Magic).
Also, Paul, Peter and James, of whom we do not know there full origins and details, are considered those who've not only misunderstood Isa (PBUH), but also have single-handedly misguided 2.2 billion people today under a False Peace and under False claims/ interpretations/ narratives.

The Qur'an is not a miracle. The Qur'an was made up from the pigment of Muhammad's imagination. And the Qur'an itself is the one that proved his falsehood. If Jesus did miracles by the permission of God as you said, then that means Jesus is God. As only God alone can do the THINGS that he has the power to do so. Yes, Satan can do miracles too. The Bible calls this deception. Miracles that were done in the name of God are those that demonstrate the power of God by the word that came from God, and that made people believe the message that God wanted for them to hear-- and that is the miracles Jesus did in his time. The apostles Peter, Peter and James and the rest of God's apostles never misguided people. They led believers to Jesus Christ by their preaching. Only Muslims perhaps believe that they are misguided by the teaching of these apostles "for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness"(I Corinthians 1:18). Muhammad is the one that deceived you and the billions of Muslims around the world-- for example by making you believe in the sexually perverted imaginary heaven of Allah from the wild imagination of Muhammad. The heaven that you are dreaming to go to is nothing but corruption and perversion of the human morality and sanctity.

  • @moizahmed4705

Jesus acknowledges that he has a God.
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” [John 20:17]
Some Trinitarians might attempt to explain such statements away by saying that it was only the human side of Jesus being subservient to God, not his divine side. The problem is that later in the Bible, after Jesus has ascended and cast aside all human limitations, he is still saying “my God”:
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. [Revelation 3:11-12]
So their explanation of the human side of Jesus doing the talking would falls apart when he is still using the same language of subservience as he did whilst he was here on earth. Moreover Jesus surrenders his kingdom to God:
Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he “has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all. [1 Corinthians 15:24-28]
If Jesus is fully God, and an equal member of the Trinity, then why does Jesus give back his kingdom to God the Father when our world comes to an end? In addition, why is Jesus made subject to God after he has surrendered his kingdom over? Clearly, God is forever supreme over all, including Jesus.

  • @moizahmed4705
    @moizahmed4705 6 років тому +5

Douglas Jacoby at 15:39 made a claim that Jesus accepted worship as God in the Bible. He quote a passage like the following in order to show that people worshipped Jesus as God and he accepted it (or at least, didn’t reject it):
But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
    [Mark 5:6]
The Greek word used in this verse for worship is ‘proskyneō’. Strong’s Bible Dictionary says that this word literally means:
“to kiss the hand to (towards) one, in token of reverence”
This same word is used to describe acts of reverence to people other than Jesus. Here a servant falls to his knees and “worships” (‘proskyneō’) his master:
“At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’” [Matthew 18:26]
This is part of a parable Jesus gave of a slave who was unable to repay a substantial sum of money to his master. He was merely expressing the kind of reverence and respect due the king, his master and superior. Another example is that Jacob bowed down seven times upon meeting his brother, Esau [Genesis 33:3], or when Joseph’s brothers prostrated themselves, or did obeisance, before him in honour of his position at the Egyptian court [Genesis 42:6]. Clearly, then, acts such as prostrating and kneeling (which are translated as “worship”) are not reserved exclusively for the type of adoration due to God. It can also refer to the respect and honour shown to another person.
Finally, there is a Greek word which does refer to the worship of God, ‘latreuó’. Here is an example of its usage in the New Testament:
‘But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves’, God said, ‘and afterward they will come out of that country and worship [latreuó] me in this place’. [Acts 7:7]
This word is never once used in the New Testament in relation to Jesus, it’s only ever used to describe the devotion given to God. If Jesus were God then one would expect this word to be used in reference to him, but it never is, it’s reserved exclusively for God. There is a perfectly logical explanation as to why this is: the authors of the New Testament did not use this word in relation to Jesus because none of them believed that he is equal to God!

Douglas Jacoby at 19:48 misquoted the following verse of the Qur'an and claimed that it tells Christians to obey their Gospel:
"He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." [Qur'an 3:3]
This verse talks about Torah and the Gospel being revealed to the people of the book but where does it say to the Christians to obey the Gospel? According to the Qur'an the Bible is corrupted:
"So woe to those who write the scripture with their own hands, then say, This is from Allah, in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn." [Qur'an 2:79]

Douglas Jacoby at 16:33 made a claim that Jesus has the authority to forgive sins, so he must be God and use the following incident to try and prove that:
“Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” [Mark 2:7]
It is true that Jesus seems to have the authority to forgive sins in this instance. However, this does not make him divine, as Jesus told the Disciples they can also forgive sins:
If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” [John 20:23]
So in the Bible it seems that God grants the authority to forgive sins as He pleases. If Trinitarians want to insist that this authority makes Jesus God, then the implication is that so too are the Disciples because they all had the authority to forgive sins.

      C Howard
Now what you are trying to do is that you are misinterpreting a clear verse so it can fit your theology. Jesus didn't said that you can declare the certainty of sinner's forgiveness by the Father instead he said that if you forgive someone's sins than they will be forgiven but if you won't forgive them than they wouldn't be forgiven, are you telling me that the sinner won't be forgiven until disciples declare the sinner's forgiveness by the Father? How much sense does it make to you? Even if I accept this than why the same thing can't be said for Jesus? What if Jesus was also declaring sinner's forgiveness by the Father and wasn't actually forgiving that sinner? Why the double standards? Also it won't going to change the fact that Jesus was "given" authority and he did not "own it".
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All authority is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [Matthew 28:18]
Some translations render the above passage as “power” instead of “authority”, which is incorrect according to the original Greek. It matters because there is an important difference between the two. We learn an important thing from this passage about Jesus in relation to God - Jesus was given authority by God. Authority comes only from a higher source, it must be delegated. Authority cannot exist unless there is a higher source in which it can be based. Power, on the other hand, is altogether different. Only God has all power, He doesn’t need authority. A “power” holds control by virtue of its own strength. Unlike Jesus, there is no one above God to delegate authority down to Him.
That is why Paul also said that God is above Jesus in hierarchy.
But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. [1 Corinthians 11:3]
This statement was uttered after Jesus had ascended and cast aside his human limitations. If the Trinity is true, then surely Paul (the author of the above statement) would have uttered something along the lines of “man is the head of a woman, and God and Christ are the head of man” which would imply a horizontal relationship between the persons in the Trinity. Clearly, God is above Jesus in this hierarchy, implying no co-equality between them, and thus there is no Trinity.
That will also explain why Jesus in the Bible acknowledges that he has a God.
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” [John 20:17]
You may attempt to explain such statements away by saying that it was only the human side of Jesus being subservient to God, not his divine side.
So your explanation of the human side of Jesus doing the talking would falls apart when he is still using the same language of subservience as he did whilst he was here on earth.

Moiz Ahmed Khan by forgiveness he meant that Jesus is the atoning sacrifice for our sins. That means he takes away our sins and in its place gives us His righteousness, so we can live in the presence of a Holy God for Eternity. It not the same as we forgive one another. It’s the atonement. A glimpse of why Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son, but didn’t have to, because God provided a lamb, a prophecy of how Jesus would be the sacrifice

Douglas Jacoby said at 19:56 that the Muslims holds the belief that the core message of the Gospel is corrupted but I want an evidence in summary.
There are numerous verses of the Qur’an that speak of the corruption of the scriptures of the Jews and Christians, here is one example:
So woe to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn. [2:79]
Ibn Abbas, a companion who learnt the Qur’an directly from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, explained this verse as follows:
(Therefore woe) severe punishment, and it is said this means: a valley in Hell (be unto those who write the Scripture with their hands) change the description and traits of Muhammad ﷺ in the Book (and then say, “This is) in the Book that has come (from Allah”, that they may purchase) through changing and altering it (a small gain therewith) a small gain in terms of means of subsistence and surplus of property. (Woe unto them) theirs is a severe punishment (for what their hands have written) have altered (and woe unto them) and theirs is a severe punishment (for what they earn thereby) of unlawful earnings and bribes.
-Ibn Abbas, Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn Abbâs, Commentary on Surah 2:79
Here Ibn Abbas is saying that the traits and descriptions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ were changed in the Book.
In the following narration, Ibn Abbas is even more explicit about the corruption of the Jewish and Christian scriptures:
Ibn Abbas said, “How can you ask the people of the Scriptures about their Books while you have Allah’s Book (the Qur’an) which is the most recent of the Books revealed by Allah, and you read it in its pure undistorted form?” [Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 7363]
This is a position that is supported by the Biblical textual criticism of mainstream Jewish and Christian scholarship.
The Qur’an provides a metric, a measure, by which we can determine the origins of a scripture:
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction [4:82]
Here the Qur’an tells us that if it contained internal inconsistency, then it cannot be from Allah. The point is that contradiction is a product of human infallibility, and obviously not what we would expect of the All-Wise and All-Knowing Creator. The Bible is not only internally contradictory, but it also contradicts the Qur’an on fundamental issues of Islamic creed. By this Qur’anic standard then, the Bible has, at least for those parts that are contradictory, been tampered with by man.
In summary, to claim that Islam endorses the Bible of today as a 100% divinely revealed text is completely incorrect.

Respectfully: Shabir stated that in the book of Mark, Jesus only appears as slightly greater than a man. Is someone who can command the sea and wind to calm down and have them obey him someone who is only slightly greater than a man? The disciples asked, “Who is this that even the seas and winds obey him?” Also, is someone who can forgive sins only slightly greater than a man?

    • @chadgarber

Omerعمر Tتكين Thank you so much for replying to my comment. Here is something to consider. Understanding the relationship between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is incredibly complex (I don’t claim to completely understand it).The reality of the situation is that it shouldn’t be surprising that we little people with little brains (in comparison to God) would have trouble trying to understand God. Imagine an ant trying to understand a human. But, that complexity should not make us ignore the Word of God that is revealed to us. I think you would agree with that. In other words, just because we don’t understand everything God understands , should not make us ignore or pick and choose what He tells us. If we use this approach and look at all the scriptures and the evidence, these all point to Jesus being the divine Son of God. Continued in next comment...

    • @chadgarber
      @chadgarber 6 років тому +1

Omerعمر Tتكين So if we our aside our possible objections about the “trinity”, then I believe we will be able to see the scriptures more clearly. Right now, since Shabir has stated that Mark doesn’t show that Jesus is the Son of God, I am reading through the book of Mark with this in mind. Now, as far as prophets being able to do miracles as well, there is a major difference between the prophets doing this and Jesus commanding the waves and seas to stop and the waves and seas obeying Him. Do you know the difference I am referring to? It is that Jesus Himself commands the seas and wind led to obey Him, and they obey Him. The prophets didn’t do such things. They implored God to do the commanding! See the difference! Continued..

    • @chadgarber
      @chadgarber 6 років тому +1

Omerعمر Tتكين For instance, Elijah “made it” not rain for a period of time and then “made it” rain again. How did he do this? He asked God and God commanded it. And all of the other prophets had God do the commanding while they requested or initiated God”s commanding. This was not the case with Jesus in the book of Mark regarding many things, including stilling the sea and wind. He directly commanded them and they obeyed him. Here is what I studied this morning on this topic: Mark - Jesus the Son of God - Part 6
“They came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gerasenes. When He got out of the boat, immediately a man from the tombs with an unclean spirit met Him, and he had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain; because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him. Constantly, night and day, he was screaming among the tombs and in the mountains, and gashing himself with stones.”
      ‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:1-5‬ ‭NASB‬‬‬‬‬‬
      bible.com/100/mrk.5.1-5.nasb
“Seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him; and shouting with a loud voice, he said, "What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!" For He had been saying to him, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!" And He was asking him, "What is your name?" And he said to Him, "My name is Legion; for we are many." And he began to implore Him earnestly not to send them out of the country. Now there was a large herd of swine feeding nearby on the mountain. The demons implored Him, saying, "Send us into the swine so that we may enter them." Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea. Their herdsmen ran away and reported it in the city and in the country. And the people came to see what it was that had happened. They came to Jesus and observed the man who had been demon-possessed sitting down, clothed and in his right mind, the very man who had had the "legion"; and they became frightened. Those who had seen it described to them how it had happened to the demon-possessed man, and all about the swine. And they began to implore Him to leave their region. As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed was imploring Him that he might accompany Him. And He did not let him, but He said to him, "Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you." And he went away and began to proclaim in Decapolis what great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed.”
      ‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:6-20‬ ‭NASB‬‬
      bible.com/100/mrk.5.6-20.nasb
      • The more I read through the book of Mark with the lens of trying to determine if the book of Mark claims that Jesus was the Son of God, the more and more it seems as though that is exactly what Mark was claiming but he did so with evidence rather than just coming out and saying it (for the most part). This seems like a strategy and a certain genre of story telling instead of it meaning that Mark was not claiming Jesus was the Son of God. The last chapter ends with: “They became very much afraid and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?"”, Mark‬ ‭4:41‬ ‭NASB‬‬, bible.com/100/mrk.4.41.nasb In fact, the question, “Who is this that even the [blank] obey(s) him” seems like the theme question of the entire book of Mark.
      • In this chapter, Jesus commands demons to come out of a man and these demons ask Jesus’ permission to go into the swine. While doing this, they refer to Jesus as the Son of the Most High. So we can ask, who is this, that even the demons obey Him? Critics have argued that the testimony of demons can’t be trusted but in context, Mark simply records the interaction and conversations that occurred between Jesus and these demons. It is very clear that these demons had to obey Jesus so why would they try to lie to Jesus by calling Jesus, “The Son of the Most High God”. That would not have helped their request: “The demons implored Him, saying, "Send us into the swine so that we may enter them." Jesus gave them permission.” And again, “Who is this, that even the demons submit to him?
      • We have to determine why Mark included that the demons claimed that Jesus was the Son of the Most High. Was it because he was trying to show demons were deceitful? In context, and while looking at the entire book of Mark, does this really seem like this is what Mark was getting at? It looks to me that he was showing that Jesus had permission even over the demons and that they knew he was the Son of the Most High because they already knew who he was or because in the spiritual realm the fact that Jesus is the Son of God was clear!

There are many verses in the New Testament supporting the messengership / prophethood of Jesus(Peace be upon him). The following are only a few: In Matthew 21:11, the people of his time are recorded as referring to Jesus (Peace be upon him) as a prophet:
“And the crowds said, ‘THIS IS THE PROPHET JESUS of Nazareth of Galilee.’ ” (Matt 21:11)
In Mark, 6:4, it is stated that Jesus(Peace be upon him) referred to himself as a prophet:
“And Jesus said to them, ‘A PROPHET IS NOT WITHOUT HONOUR, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.’ ”
In the following verses, Jesus(Peace be upon him) is referred to as having been sent as a messenger is sent.
In Matthew 10:40, Jesus was purported to have said:
“He that receiveth YOU receiveth ME, and he that receiveth ME receiveth HIM THAT SENT ME.” (Matt10:40)
"Nevertheless I (Jesus) must walk to day, and tomorrow, and the [day] following: for it cannot be that a PROPHET PERISH OUT OF JERUSALEM." (Luke 13:33)
"And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A PROPHET IS NOT WITHOUT HONOUR, save in his own country, and in his own house." Matthew 13:57 also in Mark 6:4, Luke 4:24, John 4:43
Jesus refers to himself as a Prophet, Others also called Jesus a Prophet but Never called his disciples "A group of Prophets"
Jesus was called a Prophet by others:
"And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because THEY COUNTED HIM AS A PROPHET." Matt 14:5
"And the multitude said, This is Jesus THE PROPHET OF NAZARETH of Galilee." Matthew 21:11
"But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because THEY TOOK HIM FOR A PROPHET." Matt 21:46

(In the Court of your Lord,) you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning. " (Quran17:36)

Ehsan Ramjan my dear... thanks for ur sincere advice to me on seeking The truth. I studied various faiths , religions belief systems and found d the Truth in Jesus Christ. Yes you are right, Jesus is not only a prophet. He is the prophet because He not only authorized prophecies, He brought them to pass As well.. besides being a prophet, His main purpose was to take on flesh and atone for the sins of mankind so we get to live in the presence of. Holy God for Eternity. Just as in the physical world we existed in the loins of our father and manifested only at conception, likewise in the spiritual realm realm, Jesus is the Eternal Word who was with the Father but took on flesh.. Even The Quran says. Jesus being a prophet, word of Allah and spirit of Allah.

One thing Dr Douglas got wrong on here was the Bible IS CHANGED. A perfect example is John 3:16 which used to say "God so loved the world that He gave His only BEGOTTEN SON........." But n updated Biblical scripts, due to Christians truly learning what BEGOTTEN means, they have CHANGED IT TO "God so loved the world that He gave His only BELOVED SON........"
So this shows one of the MANY CHANGES WITHIN THE BIBLE over time.

I agree there r different TRANSLATIONS. But the translations of the Qur'an r all SYNONYMOUS WITH EACH OTHER. The word BEGOTTEN and BELOVED do not have synonymous definitions. This shows Christians have discovered what BEGOTTEN truly means and REPLACED it with BELOVED, which also proves John 3:16 is NOT the true word of God

As a Christian, who actually is open to finding truth, I find Douglas Jacoby's abilities lacking a bit, but does as best he can. 58:00, Jacoby basically uses an infantile defense equivalent to "YOU DO TOO!"
The concept of the Trinity is conceptually difficult to convey to most people, and he should have worked out an explanation BY NOW. Not say, "I don't it's so confusing." 59:37

1:12:50, "they all abandon they're knowledge...even as human beings."
God is GOD. Reasoning out what God is capable of IS blasphemous. God created this entire existence and dimension.
God wished to experience life as a human, he sent a representative that would live as a human, so God would experience the hardship personally through Jesus. In the Koran (sp?), Harut and Marut are challenged by God, and tells them basically, "you think it's so easy? Go do it and show me." (this is obviously paraphrased)...and they fail.
Jesus may be the summation of this occurence and finally doing what he pointed Harut and Marut to try (and ultimately failed). As a Dad, if my son asked me to show him how to do something with grace and control, I would show him. It's not any different...it just took a while.
Also, if I'm programming for a game, and there's a bug in the game, I go play that level to see what the bug is that the player experiences. I would think God has WAAAAY more effective ways of doing this...HOWEVER God wants to do it.

    - Christians believe the Gospel is a story, a narrative - things that HAPPENED to Jesus
    - Muslims believe that GOD revealed the gospel to Jesus during his ministry and Jesus taught it during his ministry
    - Christians believe that JESUS revealed the gospel to Paul AFTER his ministry and Paul taught it (Galatians 1:11-12)
The New Testament today contains elements of both the Muslim view of the gospel (sayings and teachings of Jesus) and the Christian view of the gospel (sayings and teachings of Paul which nullify and contradict practically everything Jesus said and taught)

Douglas Jacoby at 20:27 claimed that because Jesus refers to himself as “Alpha and Omega”, “First and Last” and “Beginning and End”, which are all attributes of divinity, and so he must be God:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” [Revelation 22:13]
Throughout Revelation 22 the subject that is speaking switches between God, John, the angel and Jesus. John is identified as speaking in 22:8. The angel speaks in 22:9 and continues speaking in 22:10. The angel may be still speaking in 22:11, or it could be John.
Now, is it the angel still speaking in 22:12, or is it God, Jesus, or even John? We can analyse the styles of speech to try and work out who it might be. If we take John as an example, we find that he typically commences speaking with the phrase “I, John”. In fact this phrase identifies him as a new speaker in every instance John uses it, such as Revelation 1:9; 22:8. In Revelation 22:16, we see Jesus using the phrase “I, Jesus”, which like John would indicate that he has started speaking. If Jesus has only started speaking in 22:16, then he can’t be the one speaking in 22:13, which is the key verse in question (“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End”).
So who is speaking in 22:16? It most likely is the angel quoting God, as the angel earlier mentions “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place” in 22:6. So the angel is quoting God as saying “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End”.
Some Trinitarians may argue that because 22:6 says that God sent the angel, and 22:16 says Jesus sent the angel, therefore God and Jesus are one and the same being who sent the angel. This is not necessarily the case, as God the Father (to use Biblical terminology) is the ultimate sender but he has put the angels under the control of Jesus. Remember Jesus was given all authority according to the Bible, so the angels could have been put under his command. We see in John, for example, that Jesus had the authority to call on God to send him angels:
“Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?” [Matthew 26:53]
So although Jesus can call upon them for help, ultimately it is God who has the authority to send them.
Moreover the Priest Melchizedek is spoken of in a similar light to Revelation 22:13:
“Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever”. [Hebrews 7:3]
If Melchizedek has no beginning and end, does that make him God? Such language could simply be figurative. Remember our methodology though, we use the clear verses to explain the unclear ones. In another chapter of Revelation, Jesus explicitly claims to have a God which shows that the author of Revelation did not believe he was equal to God:
“The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.” [Revelation 3:12]

The question that Dr. Shabir Ally presents at around the 45 minute mark is answered by noting the fallacy from the jump to conclusion by stating when Jesus said "no one is good but God alone" is implies that he distances himself from being God. In the gospels, Jesus is shown to understand the hearts of people and is doing so again in this passage. He is targeting the implications of the question the man asked; "goodness does not flow from a man's deeds, but rather from God Himself." Be careful when you look to define where someone is losing a debate based on their outward reaction towards something.
In regards to the trinity, the reason why so many people have trouble understanding it (Christians included) is because we dont have much to relate it and therefore explain it with, but just because we don't have analogous teaching methods about something doesn't make it not true.

if no,,then thats fine,,the christian are better than the human jesus because christian knew that jesus is God but the human nature dont have knowledge on it,,
now if jesus is same with the christian, then that means jesus knew that he was God even he was a human flesh,,
so how comes that jesus know that he was God while he dont have knowledge about the hour??
he know that he is God but he forgot the hour??

By that I mean if it was written 30 years after mark this is an entire new generation of Christians who maybe didn't have an understanding of Jesus being the son of God so John put more emphasis on that part? For example I'm telling a story about the battle of the bulge 10 years after it happened I would not have to go to indepth on who the Nazis were compared to me telling the same exact story 30 years after it happened to people who didn't grow up when the Nazis existed.
