I tried dating apps for a short period of time. I had some decent success as far as meeting women, but I'll tell you right now it's emotionally exhausting and it's detrimental to your mental health. It quickly makes you addicted to dopamine kicks, such that many people are happy with matching and getting attention and that's all they really want. I've had friends match with tons of women only to be stood up or ignore after a couple of conversations. Less people actually go on dates with dating apps. So you get addicted to dopamine kicks from the matches, likes etc. I absolutely got addicting to swiping and waiting to see that match notification. Next it's too much to try to keep up with trying to get to know multiple people at once, trying to coordinate spending time with each and narrowing down your decisions as if you're on the Bachelor or Bachelorette. It is not normal for a person to be trying to "date" multiple people at once and pick one after narrowing down. It's better to take your time getting to know one person at a time and then making a decision if that person is for you. Too many options at once is actually a bad thing. It promotes hookup culture and not long term relationships. It's so easy to just meet a person, focus only on vain things, have a few conversations then try to get them into your bedroom instead of spending time to get to know them first at least before all of that. It does not promote long term relationships.

The older ones, apparently yes: there is actually a gender imbalance favouring men in the over 40 bracket and older. But before that..... nah. The thirst is real. Things are, maybe more balanced in the late 30 bracket - exactly because by that point even late thirties guys are mostly fed up, and the women of their age are really getting uglier.

1. Women have all the power when it comes to online dating. They get to choose who to be with because women don't message guys. When they do it's, "Hi."
2. Women say they want a good guy but look for a Chad (8-10 in looks).
3. Chads only stay with women for 3 weeks, then move on to the next. That's why online dating is shorter.
4. Good guys are on the dating sites but don't have killer looks, so the girls swipe left on them or ghost after a few messages.
5. Good guys are sick of online dating because they swipe right, leave detailed messages, get no replies, or get ghosted because the girls are looking for Chads.
6. Because of #5, guys will swipe right on everyone just to flood the Like boxes hoping to get a reply. Women are looking for the top 1%.

2 days ago I've deleted my dating profiles. No more BS, going MGTOW Monk. I will not let them make me feel like crap because "they have too many options". I got tired of them wasting my time and making me feel there is something wrong with me, when they are the ones that have issues.

I tried dating apps for a short period of time. I had some decent success as far as meeting women, but I'll tell you right now it's emotionally exhausting and it's detrimental to your mental health. It quickly makes you addicted to dopamine kicks, such that many people are happy with matching and getting attention and that's all they really want. I've had friends match with tons of women only to be stood up or ignore after a couple of conversations. Less people actually go on dates with dating apps. So you get addicted to dopamine kicks from the matches, likes etc. I absolutely got addicting to swiping and waiting to see that match notification.
Next it's too much to try to keep up with trying to get to know multiple people at once, trying to coordinate spending time with each and narrowing down your decisions as if you're on the Bachelor or Bachelorette. It is not normal for a person to be trying to "date" multiple people at once and pick one after narrowing down. It's better to take your time getting to know one person at a time and then making a decision if that person is for you. Too many options at once is actually a bad thing.
It promotes hookup culture and not long term relationships. It's so easy to just meet a person, focus only on vain things, have a few conversations then try to get them into your bedroom instead of spending time to get to know them first at least before all of that. It does not promote long term relationships.

I've been on Tinder for the last few months. I would say 95% of the women always put "Travel Lover" in their profile. But the weird thing is they don't want to travel to explore new places, foods, and cultures. They want to go to these places to take photos to post on Instagram. Even worse, part of the reason they are even using Tinder is to find a man to pay for these adventures.

For me, the sad part in all of this is the fact that they have the chance to meet a genuine guy and learn more about themselves or the person they are meeting; this is however blocked by Ego. A woman's Ego is the biggest self sabotage in the last couple of decades. I'm still young and I see this on a daily basis. They claim they're waiting for the right choice but they tell themselves that it's the "guy's" fault for their choices. I've only seen at least a handful of women who understand that mutual empathy of both parties can lead to easier understanding of what's beneficial to a relationship.
For the ladies reading this, Guys can be assholes too. If you want a man that has your best interest at heart, you got to submit yourself to his values also. empathising with each others goals and background can help you relate a lot more... even if he's not the one, you understand guys a lot better and yourself. Listen outwards and don't let your Ego control you, because you don't realise when it does, and you start putting yourself on a pedestal you can't come down from.
I borderline gave up on o.d., but i had a relationship starts online and it did because we *talked*. That's all it took, seriously - i wanted to chat, she wanted to chat, and since we were compatible it worked and eventually things developed. But with most, and i mean MOST, women that is not what happens. Most don't answer, those that do make no effort at all to be interesting and interested. They are there for attention from us suckers, and the top% guy that might pass by to pump and dump them because they are oh-so-special that he will fall for them (lol). If they were honestly searching for a relationship they would find it in a couple weeks: talk with a guy around your age-look level, find out if you have something in common, try a date and decide. They are not - their attitude is "maybe Brad Pitt will pass by, and if he doesn't it's not like i have to do anything". Well, screw them. As i said i am out of that stuff, my age helps as i am 36 and i am really done with their BS. I am enjoying quiet at home, a bunch of expensive toys that i coulnd't afford with my ex, and this fall i am planning to go to Pattaya and effe a different 18yo every night of the week.
