🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on UA-cam yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

@@HookedbyRobin I forgot to ask about how to end the project?
Robin-- What a great tutorial. Do you have a video showing how to crochet these darling flowers featured in the leaf Garland video?
Thank you so much Marilou! 😃 This is the only flower pattern I have at the moment like that: www.hookedbyrobin.com/blog/crochet-olivia-flower-pattern
The leaves are just beautiful! Do U have a video on how to do the flowers?
Very pretty ;)
Thank you!
I hope that you make a tutorial for these flowers. I really like the way they look. I have made loads of the small flowers from another video, they are so easy.
Thank you Carolyn.🤗🧶

Thank you Paolo!🥰
Your leaf Garland is adorable, are you still going to do a tutorial on the flower...l think it really makes it.
Lovely garland...I will need to re write this in UK terms 😂
Thank you Marina! 😃
It's really easy to make it with ur instructions. I m going to make it.
If one leaf facing left then how we make another on right side while going in forward direction?
Would you be able to show how you connected the flower to the leaf chain. Thanks!!
Hi, I'm a novice so doing this garland for the first time, and can I ask how you attach your flowers inbetween onto the chain please? Many thanks
You could use fall colored yarn and make fall leaves too !
how do we add flowers to the garland? amazing work btw :)
I definitely struggled to find a pattern for this style leaf garland that would work for me
🥰🧶
Hi again Robin- if I want to make the actual leaves larger, would I repeat stitches, use a different yarn and/hook? Sorry if this is a newbie question!
What kind of yarn did you use? I like the texture of it
Love your nail polish color! Whats the name. If you dont mind. ❤ PS thanks for sharing all your great ideas!
Thank you Lisa!😃 I can’t remember the shade name now as it is an older video but all my nail information is here:

🧶
Robin- what type of yarn do you recommend for the leaf and/or flower garlands in your great videos? Cotton - bamboo mix?
You can use any yarn you fancy Mari!😃
How do u get the sc's from one length to another when I do it the way u show there is no sc chain in between.
What yarn do you use? Tried making with acrylic and just didn't like the look and my cotton yarn is too stiff.
Hi! how do you alternate the sides the leaf is on?
Hi ma'am! I am from India and very much fond of chrocheting different types of projects. I want to know what is the number of yarn,it's type( cotton or acrylics), and what is the hook used?
I used cotton yarn with a 4mm hook for this but you can use any yarn and any hook size you like 😀🧶
Hi, what yarn did you use in this tutorial? Thanks x
Hi Faye, off the top of my head I can’t remember I’m afraid as it was a while ago but you can use any yarn for it.😃

Useing this as a base is it possible to make other leaves? Possibly Maple?
I don't see why not? You could freestyle any leaf pattern really!
