They turned out so beautiful!!! Have I noticed correctly that at 14:02 you are missing the 3 chains before the last slip stitch after the 4 double crochets?
@@Gloria-lb3df Ughh I didn’t even see that! But yes, you are correct! I apologize ahead of time to anyone who gets confused at that! Thank you so much for pointing that out!🌱💚
I love these heartshaped leaves, they look so adorable. This is how I arrange them: Small leaf: Ch4. In 1st ch: 3hdc, 1 dc, picot (ch2, sl in 1st ch), 1 dc, 3 hdc, ch 2 (or 3), sl. Tiny leaf: Ch 3. In 1st ch: 2 sc, 1 hdc, picot, 1 hdc, 2 sc, ch 2, sl. Make sure to make your chains nice and tight, you don't want the ones you crochet into to wear out. I crochet 2 or 3 tiny leaves with 3-4 ch in between, then 2 or 3 small ones with 3-5 ch in between, then the largest ones with 5-7 ch in between. Then I arrange several of these stems into a cute hanging plant.
I made this with a 4.5mm hook since that was all I had around. I did 5 double crochets on each side of the leaf to minimise gapping due to the larger hook size. It turned out great!

Thanks for the tutorial, super easy to follow, especially as a beginner! So cute too, these are going to appear all over my apartment! I used a bigger hook and yarn and had a problem with the stitch getting too big so I played around with it until i found a solution of sorts: - chain 4 instead of 5 and slip stitch back into the first of the four to create a circle. - chain 3 - triple crochet - 4 double crochet - chain 2 and slip back into the first stitch - 4 double crochet again - a triple crochet - chain three - slip stitch into center of circle ( the whole time youre using circle to stitch into) - chain back to your starting point
Thank u so much!! That’s a really helpful tutorial I got it really fast! A few tips to fellow crocheters!: - If u want to have a different size leafs just do a different amount of dubble crochet ( a smaller one 3dc normal one 4dc and a big one 5dc ) then proceed as usual ( u can also differ the single crochet number! ) - If u want the leafs to face different directions ( I want to place mine on a shelf so no girland and I want to have different directions on the leafs ) after the final slip stitch on the leaf rotate it to the direction u want and do one or two single crochet in that direction then flip the work and proceed as usual ( so it won’t be croocked ), also u can slip stitch into another stitch from the ,,branch” Really great tutorial!!
I'm using these chains in a meadly of other crochet plants to get a kind of mixed plants look. It's perfect because even my mother can't kill a plant made of yarn, and she's wanted something like that for a while! Thanks so much, she's going to be so happy!
That’s a wonderful idea! You can be so creative with crochet. I know your mom will be happy! I’m not the greatest with indoors plants, but I honestly think I love these fake ones more lol🌱💚
This was really easy and helpful! I am kind of a beginner, I have been on and off crocheting for the passed year. And I have TOO much yarn and I didn’t know what to do with it, but I do know! Thank you so much! ☺️🩷
Thank you sooo much! I didn't know how to do a single or double crochet and it always seemed so daunting to try, and you made it so easy to learn! Thanks!
Do you have a tip on how to close the gap in the middle after the first leave? Its really big and i dont know how to close it. But the pattern is perfect thanks allot!
@@Suhail.NL1 Making smaller chains. I also hold the bottom of my previous stitches while making the leaf, so you aren’t tugging on that chain as you do your stitches. I hope that helps🌱💚

So i seem to be having a issue. I make yhe first leaf make yhe chain im doing 20 and then i chain 5 so i can but itbinto the 20th one no issue. But when i make the next leaf it pulls on the chain and leavs a big hole and idk how to fix it it doesnt look eqven or neat at all what am i doing wrong
@@ambercole44 I hold the bottom of my previous stitches while doing the next stitches of the leaf, so you aren’t tugging on that chain. Kind of like when you brush out a tangle, you hold the section of hair so you aren’t pulling on the scalp. So, you are holding the base of the stitches so you aren’t pulling on the chain. I hope that helps!🌱💚

How would I make the leaves different sizes?
You could use smaller or bigger hooks🌱💚
Thank you so much!
where do u get the branch from???
My backyard. I had to prune branches off of a tree and I saved them for projects like this. I’m not sure what kind of tree it is🌱💚
If I wanted to make the leaves bigger what would the pattern be? Can anybody help? Pls?
Maybe try doing the same crochet pattern, except instead of one stitch the stitches were last rows crochet. Good luck you go girl
Also maybe change the hook size
