    That CPU seems kinda mismatched for an RTX 4060 Ti. But nonetheless you have a good upgrade! I personally had a laptop with RTX 3060 i7-11800H 16GB DDR4 since 2021 and now I’m considering an upgrade to a desktop with a similar GPU.

      @@beckettking5935 now he shouldn't of gotten a 4060 ti shouldve went a little more for a 4070 super, but amd cards are so dog compared to nvidia, yes they are great price to performance cards and hit similar frames to nvidia "sometimes even better in price to performance category's" . But these TikTok Fortnite kids don't understand that the tech inside and surrounding in its development with the gpu itself is also very important, frame generation, path tracing, dlss which is fantastic. all tremendously better on nvidia cards. Cuda has been around for over a decades. But if you are just focused on competitive gameplay for high fps amd is fine. But if you want best visuals and fps on more demanding titles nvidia wins in every category, it isn't a competition.

      @stevenostrowski6552 3 місяці тому +2

      @@IDEKYOUANYMORE "But if you want best visuals and fps" unless you have 4090 levels of money you have too choose between one. Raytracing is way too demanding even on Nvidia, pathtracing even more so. You wont get a good amount of fps (atleast 120+) with RT on and if you dont care about best visuals but care for FPS there is no reason too get a NVIDIA GPU for gaming purposes only as AMD has more raw power in the same price class. Raytracing aside from pathtracing isnt really worth the performance hit in most modern titles as raster looks barely distinguishable most of the time. For fortnite players NVIDIA is worth though considering they have massive performance boost in this title for some reason, same as AMD has in COD. Framegen and DLSS are also mostly supported in newer titles which are arguably bad for the most part but you can get FSR and AFMF working in almost any title.

    In a game like fortnite getting a really beefy gpu with a decent processor wont give you a big performance boost since the game is more cpu intensive (calculating where all the players are, all the builds placed, loading the map) its all on the cpu. So if you play e-sports titles like fortnite, rust, cs2 prioritize your cpu. Not saying cheap out on the gpu, get something that wont bottleneck your cpu, but dont prioritize it

    Why are people complaining about the dude talking about cpus like i5/i7? It is mentioned in the video they got 9700k (old i5 because of that is at best 9600k which is less powerful) so you cant just slap a +10th gen there like some comments say?? But if you just bought the cpu, there is no real point in upgrading to 9700k unless you got it for very cheap and/or did not have ability to go for a whole new build otherwise (so getting a better cpu for already owned build is a lot more cheaper option). Also 4060 ti is a great card if you get it for reasonable price, esp the 16gb version.

    Sadly Fortnite is a CPU game(on perf mode). You could've gone with a 3060 or 4060 and put the rest into the cpu to get way better fps. (Like 2 or 3 times more). I'd recommend going for a 5600x,5700x,5800x or 5800x3d if you want to get a cheap mainboard. If you are fine with buying ddr5 and getting a better mainboard i would go for a ryzen 5 7600x or 7700x. If you can spend more you should 100% go for a 7800x3d but it's really expensive. Your 4060 ti is being bottlenecked over 30% (depending on res and settings). Edit: I saw many people being toxic about your choice and i don't think they have a right to. Everyone makes a mistake sometimes.. Its gonna be fine(you are just gonna be loosing on some performance) if you are fine with that there is no reason to change anything.

      @@ZinkyThePinky this might be the 1millionth comment about this topic, but it's up to you when it comes to buying your parts for your PC depending on whatever you want your PC to handle (which in this case is Fortnite at very high framerates), i am just suggesting something that could've given you a couple more FPS for free

    I ain't no professional but i think the cpu cooler isn't facing the right side, the the radiator has dust on the exhaust side which tells me that the fan is blowing at the intake fans
