For those who are confused. The 14900k is the worlds fastest cpu in terms of singlecore speed (aside from the KS edition). It clocks in at an insane 6ghz turbo boost. Cores in gaming really don't matter, except for using them for your gpu. So the 24 cores (8-12 is all you'll ever need) is absolutely overkill, which is why it's used for production computers too. Any AMD competition doesn't beat it in speed, but some do beat it in latency with cache. Every cpu has their own task
