I just booked the D an hour ago for March 13th till 16th.. I told the guy on the phone I decided to pick the D because of your video. He knew about you and he offered me a free upgrade already. So thank you Ruby
I always stay at The D when I am downtown and I love the rooms…once we were on the sixth floor and I didn’t have any issues with the noise from Fremont street, and the lady at the desk did inform us that we might hear the music, but we were fine, love The D, can’t wait to stay there again in May! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Stay there and had no problem with the noise and went up and down on the Sky Deck. We loved staying there and will stay again 💞 Love watching you and your tips
Love the D. Always ask for a high floor and a quiet room - and non-smoking. It feels like a quiet oasis in the heart of the party - can’t wait to go back. And you are in downtown Vegas - very rarely in the room a lot - so many attractions nearby.
I really appreciate your reviews, but I don't go to vegas just to stay in the room, and I usually stay solo, so enormous rooms aren't really a big deal for me, as long there's no bugs Im ok.
You must be his mother. I love Ruby but he has the classic drone. Never trust a person with a droning voice. It's not normal and has been practiced from childhood. The fact that you pointed it out means you're lying.
I love your reviews! Always so helpful for those of us who do are just regular folks and don't need to be at the fanciest places. We have stayed at the D a couple times. Had about the same reaction as you. Nice enough but cheap. We do love the casino though. Always a good time.
I love staying at The D. I'm lucky enough to get a corner suite comped when I stay. It has a couch, and a minifridge. If you like steak, eat at Andiamo, you won't regret it. Old school feel, and great service and food. This makes me miss going, it's been way too long since I've been there.
Great video! Just an FYI, when I went to the D in June, if you go to the players club desk and told them you flew to Vegas on Spirit or Southwest, they gave you $50 free play.
Thanks for an excellent overview of the D Casino and surrounding area. Can't wait to check out the rest of your videos. You guys look like you really have a lot of fun! Stay safe and keep having fun!
Love the casino there. My friends and I had a blast on that old school horse racing game that takes actual quarters. I also very much enjoyed the blackjack dealers in the evenings. I don't think I'd stay there, but its definitely a place I want to play at next time.
IM GLAD I CAME ACROSS YOUR PAGE... I BEEN THINKING OF TRAVELING UP TO VEGAS WITH MY FIANCE THIS UPCOMING YEAR SO IM DEFINITELY IS GOING TO CYCLE THRU THE VIDEOS TO SEE WHAT IS THE BEST OPTION FOR US. THANKS FOR THE CONTENT
You guys are my most recent but most impressive subscription and I enjoy every minute of your videos. Ms. Ruby is very watchable, likeable and fun. I watch a lot of vloggers but none of them match the quality of your editing. If that's due to Mr. Ruby...my deepest compliments. Hollywood level! Thanks so much for the great vids...don't change a thing!
Being right on Fremont has it's perks and drawbacks. I always travel with a white noise machine next to the nightstand. It drowns out exterior and hallway noises. I also tend to ask for the quietest part of the hotel I'm staying at.
Just came from there, and let me tell ya! You are CORRECT about the noise! One thing that really bothered me though, when I stepped into the shower, it was just ONE slab of glass that had the cut out in it. There was no sliding glass to close so water was EVERYWHERE! 😳🤦🏾♂️
Great video. I’m here now. As for noise, the front desk said to ask for odd number rooms for quiet, even numbers for Fremont noise. I requested even… gotta love the atmosphere!
We stay at The D every time we go to Vegas. Actually just got home from there on Saturday. It just depends on what side you stay on as far as the noise. Fremont side is loud, the other side is much more quieter. We just love The D!!!!
My wife and I stayed at The D at the beginning of Aug 2021. We stayed on the 32nd floor facing the other side and never heard any of the music. Our room was exactly the same but we were able to get it for $29/nt plus resort fees. There is also a hidden balcony near the Fitness Center on the Banquet Room Floor. Definitely a great location when staying on Fremont.
Hi Ruby! I was in Vegas last week and stayed at the Palace Station. They have a FREE shuttle to-and-from the airport and to-and-from the Strip, all at scheduled times (and they were on time)! I think you would enjoy checking it out - if you haven't already.
Palace station is Vegas local casino,I am local of Vegas,I didn't get to any station casino for a long time, down town a lot of fun, welcome to Vegas, welcome to down town...
I stayed at the D once. It was fine, our room was not loud at all. .... American Coney is a must stop for us everytime we're in Vegas! It a really good cheap meal, lol
Very helpful video. Meaningful content with the information one needs in order to make an informed decision. Thanks for sharing. I live in Vegas now...used to be a frequent visitor. I have been to the D many times, but never stayed. After reviewing your video...I will do a walk-through of the room before I stay. Thanks again for sharing. Keep doing what you do.
Love The D, always stay there and sometimes combine with MyVegas. The D elevators are so close to the casino and exits. And I get two comp 4ooms and some food each month with no fees and I visit so in frequent.
The top of that one-way escalator has the best bathrooms at the top. We always hang out across the street in a little tiny bar. I just booked the D. Can't wait for the stadium swim
Nice video, I never stay downtown. Try Harrah's, the Wynn or the Palazzo for a quiet room. The Wynn Tower Suites are ultra quiet with the golf course view...
We are going to stay at The D on our next trip, on a Comped offer. When we booked, we were pleased to find out that their Comped Rooms have NO Resort Fees. We are a little worried about the noise - so we're going to bring ear plugs. Fingers crossed the noise won't be too bad. Looks like a basic room - but still looks way better than MGM Grand West Ring Room (NEVER AGAIN!!). Love your videos Ruby! You give us our Vegas Fix when we can't be in Vegas!
Great job, Ruby! You are, by far, my fave Vegas UA-camr. And Mr. Ruby does excellent camera work and editing. Keep up the great work, guys. I always look forward to your videos
Stayed here back in April. We liked the location but it was a bit loud even though we stayed on the 35th floor. We could the Circa pool from our room and also see the Freemont canopy. The mattresses need to be upgraded were hard and lumpy. The Hotdogs are very good.
That was probably the kindest review of the D's pool I've ever seen. Lol... It kinda reminds me of a motel 6 pool, but for me that's no big deal; I don't go to the pool anyway.
American Coney island is a legendary Detroit Coney island, right next door to Lafayette Coney island in downtown Detroit. In Detroit you are either a Lafayette family or an American family, there is no in between, and my family was Lafayette although I did eat at American when I was at the d and it was very good
Love that place, I have been staying there since it was the fritz hahaha perfect location. The noise really never bothered me but then again I always went to bed late!
Thanks as always. I prefer to stay at El Cortez since i need my sleep and I am not into the bar scene. I rather be off Fremont experience and walk a block over for the excitement. When i stay downtown I don’t need a pool. I usually split my time between the strip which has the best pools and downtown, so I don’t need a pool.
One other thing about the D you didn't mention. A piece of "the blarney stone". For those of you who are superstitious (ahem) check it out. It's at the top of the outside escalator.....walk in about 20 feet and take a left, there it is. Touch it, kiss it, supposed to bring you luck. Yes, I did it.........and a little while later, I got a $3300 handpay at the El Cortez. Coincidence? Perhaps........but it's pretty cool to think that MAYBE the blarney stone brought me a little bit of luck. I also got a handpay at NYNY and Golden Gate.....3 days, 3 handpays. I've never had a handpay in Vegas before.
The D has a very fun casino, great drink service and bar areas and party vibe going on. But I would recommend staying at the similarly priced Downtown Grand, The Plaza, or Golden Nugget (for a little more money) if you want to sleep and chill out at all. I love the D casino and spending time there but the rest of the hotel is pretty bare bones. Tiny pool, very basic room and few dining options.
Just found your videos and I'm in!! Best reviews ! You're so likeable! I usually stay at The D. I think you're spot on. The location makes it perfect for a weekend on Fremont especially during the Free Summer concerts! The casino has a great party feel. I love how you coined the 'Derek Steven's vibe' with your review on the GG. The corner deluxe are nicer and the suites are dope! Always a great time at The D!
The D was my favorite Casino when I went the week before your stay. I noticed the music was my taste, and I simply had more fun there. That being said, circa was fun, as was el Cortez. We stayed at the grand. Cant wait to go back. I only skimmed the surface on my first trip.
I've been checking your VEGAS vids for our upcoming trip and they are always super helpful! You solidified my subscription with that perfect Simpsons reference!
I stayed there for the first time on Thanksgiving. The extra of using the swimming pool at The Circa was cool. I never used though and the basic room was quiet.
i stayed at the D in March of 2022. We had a corner room, like 24th (?) floor, right below us was the stage, it was loud but I took a zquil and it helped me sleep lol thought the room was nice, clean, a little bare, but as long as its clean im good. thought the casino areas were cool. i would stay there again. (however would like to try a couple other spots downtown too)
Las stay in Vegas was a couple of nights in a high corner room @ The D June 2017, first time overnight on Fremont St. OK room, a little sparse, no tub, big shower only. Friendly staff.
I also like The D but it is loud. We stayed in a room on a higher floor and it was still loud. The hotel was reasonably priced, the food was good, and the casino was fun.
Good review. We always start off at Bellagio and finish on Fremont. We usually stay at GN & this time we are trying The D. I have heard it’s loud too. Hope earplugs or too many drinks puts me out.
Have stayed at the D many times. Yes the rooms are unbelievably loud due to the noise off Fremont street. It’s not as bad if there isn’t a concert going on.
I stayed at the D in June of 2021 and found it okay. Our first room had air conditioning issues so they had to give us another room. We did take advantage of Stadium Swim which was amazing.
So my wife and i took your advice and booked a dinner /show package at the strat and it was an amazing experience the food was top notch thanks so much for the rock solid recommendation👍👍😁😁
I stayed on the 16th floor kings corner, I didn't notice the noise as much, our room had fridge microwave ect, basic rooms make you bored and you leave your room to spend money
My Mom and I used to stay there when it was Fitzgerald's. The rooms didn't get better with the new ownership. We stayed there in 2017 or 18 and had to get separate rooms because they don't have handicap accessible rooms with 2 beds. We were on a side away from Fremont Street so the noise wasn't too bad. However, my bed was so hard I had to get extra pillows to put on top of the mattress just so I could sleep. NOT comfortable. It is a fun casino but way too loud. Now, I only go there to play Sigma Derby. I'll have to try The Park next time I go to Vegas.
When I go to Vegas I always stay at The D. It's a party area with everything you need and want. You can get fine dining, cheap food and always get your fill of people watching. In October, I took my 82 year old mom and she loved it. I love my night cap of sitting at the Bar on the second floor and play poker and have a few drinks before going up to bed. Standing on the overlook looking out over Fremont is the best. Staff here are awesome friendly and professional at all times. I have stayed on the strip a couple times, but it doesn't even come close to life of downtown and at The D. Adding Stadium Swim on the room is the best especially if your a sport better.
Loved hanging out at the D but never stayed there. We like Downtown Grand just a block off Fremont next to Hogs and Heffers and across from the Mob Museum, nice and quiet there lol
We stayed at the D on the 15th floor and didn't hear any noise. I read a review that there is a "quiet" side so maybe we were on that side. It is no frills and no fridge, but it was clean and cheap, More comfortable bed that the suite I stayed at the Signature that cost three times as much
Last summer I walked around the casino floor areas, but it got old fast. I was poking around Fremont Street so it was random. I just spent $2 on the slots, and went on my way. The thing I do like is the location like El Cortez and Four Queens. At least there´s a lot of decent places to eat.
Love the d very exciting. But you're right very loud I was on the 14th floor same side as you trying to go to sleep at midnight and I couldn't get to sleep because of the noise.
No coffee maker in your room, which is typical of many Vegas hotels. I bought a one-cup coffee maker on-line and found a source for the coffee packets. I just put the coffee maker in my suitcase and set it up in my hotel room. Inexpensive and convenient !
I just booked the D an hour ago for March 13th till 16th.. I told the guy on the phone I decided to pick the D because of your video. He knew about you and he offered me a free upgrade already. So thank you Ruby
I am planning a trip for the same weekend lol I am going to call and try to see if I can get an update as well lol
How was it? Hahaha
thats super cool!!!
I'm only 2 videos into your channel and I love it! I appreciate the honest and down-to-earth reviews like yours.
I always stay at The D when I am downtown and I love the rooms…once we were on the sixth floor and I didn’t have any issues with the noise from Fremont street, and the lady at the desk did inform us that we might hear the music, but we were fine, love The D, can’t wait to stay there again in May! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

This video is so well done! The music, Ruby's presentation, the editing, everything was awesome!
The pic of The Rock with the fanny pack was funny
Pretty sure "Mr. Ruby" has been developing mad videography and production skillz since this channel launched.
Love seeing glimpses of Mr. Ruby!
I really appreciate your reviews, but I don't go to vegas just to stay in the room, and I usually stay solo, so enormous rooms aren't really a big deal for me, as long there's no bugs Im ok.
I appreciate that you took your time editing this video. It was fantastic!
OMG we saw Mr Ruby!
I’ve stayed at the D & we had no issues with the noise!! I would recommend it 😁
If Mr. Ruby is not doing editing gigs on the side, he’s missing out. These videos have increased in quality. Great work ya’ll
What you guys said.
I totally agree! Hey Mr. Ruby, want to be the videographer for my wedding? lol (kidding, but not really-we live in Washington!)
Agreed
He has a great voice too. Needs to be on radio.
You must be his mother. I love Ruby but he has the classic drone. Never trust a person with a droning voice. It's not normal and has been practiced from childhood. The fact that you pointed it out means you're lying.

One of my favorite videos of yours yet. The editing and B-roll are sick.. Keep rocking' Rubies!
Precovid, March at the D was usually around $30 for weekdays. About the best value for people just needing a place to store things
You guys are my most recent but most impressive subscription and I enjoy every minute of your videos. Ms. Ruby is very watchable, likeable and fun. Thank you so much. I’m a Downtown person . Your insight are priceless. Keep doing what you do. I’m a big fan!👏🏿😎

Resort fee was less than $50 a day
Hi Ruby! I was in Vegas last week and stayed at the Palace Station. They have a FREE shuttle to-and-from the airport and to-and-from the Strip, all at scheduled times (and they were on time)! I think you would enjoy checking it out - if you haven't already.
Cool. A shuttle back and forth to the strip would be excellent when staying downtown. I was looking for one when I stayed downtown.
Palace station is Vegas local casino,I am local of Vegas,I didn't get to any station casino for a long time, down town a lot of fun, welcome to Vegas, welcome to down town...
As a local. Stations are the best casino.
I love my stay at The Palace station 2018 nice clean comfortable room
I stayed at the D once. It was fine, our room was not loud at all. .... American Coney is a must stop for us everytime we're in Vegas! It a really good cheap meal, lol

Just booked the D for 2 nights in July following 3 on the strip! Thanks as always for your great videos!
Love The D, always stay there and sometimes combine with MyVegas. The D elevators are so close to the casino and exits. And I get two comp 4ooms and some food each month with no fees and I visit so in frequent.
Stayed at the D in August on the 20 something floor. Room was OK on its best day. Thanks for making these videos- which are very helpful.
The top of that one-way escalator has the best bathrooms at the top. We always hang out across the street in a little tiny bar. I just booked the D. Can't wait for the stadium swim

Hands down that is the best! Chili dog after a night of drinking on Fremont , enjoying your video ✨
Great job, Ruby! You are, by far, my fave Vegas UA-camr. And Mr. Ruby does excellent camera work and editing. Keep up the great work, guys. I always look forward to your videos
We stayed there and the noise in the rooms is stunning.
Ruby just subscribed, loved your flog , great music and vibe .
The flamingo is very loud too. The old hotels have thin walls. No sleep. Great video.
Stayed here back in April. We liked the location but it was a bit loud even though we stayed on the 35th floor. We could the Circa pool from our room and also see the Freemont canopy. The mattresses need to be upgraded were hard and lumpy. The Hotdogs are very good.
@Zeltrah oops 😬

true
Except you get access to Stadium Swin at Circa just by staying at the D.
At least it has a jacuzzi. A lot of Vegas pools don’t have jacuzzis
She' has such a cool vibe. Definitely someone I would travel with
American Coney island is a legendary Detroit Coney island, right next door to Lafayette Coney island in downtown Detroit. In Detroit you are either a Lafayette family or an American family, there is no in between, and my family was Lafayette although I did eat at American when I was at the d and it was very good
Easiest casino from parking garage to front desk to room elevator period. Always been fun to stay there.
Very helpful video. I will be staying here in May. Love the song @7:36, your vids always have great music. Keep up the great work!
Love that place, I have been staying there since it was the fritz hahaha perfect location. The noise really never bothered me but then again I always went to bed late!

Park on Fremont looks so good. Love the garden look! -S

I love the D casino and spending time there but the rest of the hotel is pretty bare bones. Tiny pool, very basic room and few dining options.
I stayed at this place when it was the Fitzgerald. I’m glad they’ve improved it because it used to be a dump
Just found your videos and I'm in!! Best reviews ! You're so likeable! I usually stay at The D. I think you're spot on. The location makes it perfect for a weekend on Fremont especially during the Free Summer concerts! The casino has a great party feel. I stayed there for the first time on Thanksgiving. The extra of using the swimming pool at The Circa was cool. I never used though and the basic room was quiet.
Adiamo’s upstairs is awesome ! They have renovated upstairs!
i stayed at the D in March of 2022. We had a corner room, like 24th (?) floor, right below us was the stage, it was loud but I took a zquil and it helped me sleep lol thought the room was nice, clean, a little bare, but as long as its clean im good. thought the casino areas were cool. i would stay there again. (however would like to try a couple other spots downtown too)
A mountain view room at El Cortez is the ONLY quiet room on Fremont beyond the new tower at Golden Nugget and Circa.
Las stay in Vegas was a couple of nights in a high corner room @ The D June 2017, first time overnight on Fremont St. OK room, a little sparse, no tub, big shower only. Friendly staff.
I just went for my 50 th birthday. I had a blast. I loved the beds, shower. Body wash, location plus we won some money too.
I have only stayed on floors 30+ at The D, it was peaceful. Try staying on 5th floor at the 4 Queens North tower! Your room is in the party
Stayed there several times.. decent hotel.. your right about the noise, very loud!!
Stayed here this past October it was really nice
Have stayed at the D many times. Yes the rooms are unbelievably loud due to the noise off Fremont street. It’s not as bad if there isn’t a concert going on.
you always have the best music selections on your videos
Booked the D in a couple months cause of your video. THANKS
I stayed at the D in June of 2021 and found it okay. Our first room had air conditioning issues so they had to give us another room. We did take advantage of Stadium Swim which was amazing.
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
You need to roadtrip to Oatman AZ from Vegas and do a Ruby review of that place sometime. its a fun day trip
I just discovered your channel. Your videos are great, the music, editing are awesome. Keep up the good work!
So my wife and i took your advice and booked a dinner /show package at the strat and it was an amazing experience the food was top notch thanks so much for the rock solid recommendation👍👍😁😁
Great review and video.
I always stay at the Nugget and gamble at the D I love it maybe next time I'll try it I know I already don't like the " check in set up " 😉
I stayed on the 16th floor kings corner, I didn't notice the noise as much, our room had fridge microwave ect, basic rooms make you bored and you leave your room to spend money
When I go to Vegas I always stay at The D. It's a party area with everything you need and want. You can get fine dining, cheap food and always get your fill of people watching. Hi Rudy! Which song were you playing on the background for the first minute? Will appreciate of you have time to reply thanks 😊
We stayed at the D on the 15th floor and didn't hear any noise. I read a review that there is a "quiet" side so maybe we were on that side. It is no frills and no fridge, but it was clean and cheap, More comfortable bed that the suite I stayed at the Signature that cost three times as much
That's why the call it D - Disturbance
Love the honesty!
Another great video, Ruby. Thank you.
Love the D stay there a lot.
Above the 22nd floor.
Love pointing out that up escalator every time. It draws you in and you have to gamble your way out! LOL!
Last summer I walked around the casino floor areas, but it got old fast. I was poking around Fremont Street so it was random. I just spent $2 on the slots, and went on my way. The thing I do like is the location like El Cortez and Four Queens. At least there´s a lot of decent places to eat.
I’m so glad you tried the coney spot. I’m gonna try it out next time. Me and my wife always souvenirs shop on Fremont
You rocked the green chop!
You crack me up!! I love your video reviews on hotels 🤣😂keep em coming
Love the d very exciting. But you're right very loud I was on the 14th floor same side as you trying to go to sleep at midnight and I couldn't get to sleep because of the noise.
That where I stay everytime in Vegas love it
Went to a friend's wedding when it was called Fitzgerald's and had a "Lucky Irish" theme. Not a bad buffet actually.
No coffee maker in your room, which is typical of many Vegas hotels. I bought a one-cup coffee maker on-line and found a source for the coffee packets. I just put the coffee maker in my suitcase and set it up in my hotel room. Inexpensive and convenient !
Good Review Ruby, we have been there 6 times and never went to the pool, but we did go to Stadium Swim. All your +/~ are right on.
Nice video, I’ve always been curious about this property.
