What if I want my missile to launch from a cargo bay or something. Like, keep the missile in the cargo bay and when I want to launch, extend it out and launch.
I have found out how to make very small guided missiles just take that tiny little stack sepatron and flip it so the red arrows point out to where you want to launch your missile (into the air, or away from launcher for example) then just put that one very tiny like 0.5m engine the one with the orange base the one that can be stack mounted then put several oscar b fuel tanks depending how much fuel you want, then put that one very tiny probe control module, the small sas module with the red light, the small battery and then the small nosecone like the one he uses above. Very simple and compact guided missile.
If you set the house you want to hit with your missile as a target, then it will appear on the navball and all you have to do is line it up and shoot ;)

In stock, (Because I don't like mods.) I made a bomb where you can choose what size you want it to be while flying, and stock missiles. But the missiles weren't by me, they were by Marex333.
I didn't post it, but it's just a bunch of small grey fuel tanks with small decouplers put into a number action of which will decouple, 7 being the whole thing, 1 being a small part.
wel some people(like me) prefer trying to do it in stock KSP. if you install BDArmory everything is premade for you and the fun of the engineering challenge is gone.

To fix the second missile's problem, Just add the smallest probe core to it. Works every time for me.
they really arent missiles. these are ROCKETS. missile implies it has some form of post launch tracking or target acquisition.

Either use Infernal Robotics or you can make a seeking missle and hit the engines once it falls out to of the cargo bay.
