Terrific video! Love the musical background. This video is an inspiration to build my Sig Demoiselle. Did you substitute hardwood dowels for your fuselage? They look round in the video. Also, where did you source the wire wheels? Or did you build your own? all in all, a great video, I keep watching it over and over. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, you are right, the fuselage dowels are round, same as on the original Demioselle. On the original it was a bamboo.... Try to google the original in the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace. I bought 6mm and 4mm round balsa dowels in my hobbystore in Czech Republic. Wheels are home made, according some manual I fond in internet.. (maybe RC Groups??? I´m not soure) It is much much easyer to make them, as it seems :D But be carefull, I made rims too soft, and now in stead of nice O shape, they have wonderfull 8 shape... Rims are balsa and playwood, wires fishing nylon line and center is carbon and laminate :D My model isn´t made from the SIG kit, I just bought tehir plan, because I didn´t like their "steamlocomotive" wheels and I wantes to make the fuselage more scale with round dowels, instead of square dowels. But the rest is same as SIG´s kit. Enjoy your build!!! It is a fantastic plane for summer evenings. Vláďa
