The crazy sound of the slo-mo motor belongs in a science fiction movie! I've always admired this plane, and you did a spectacular build. Is the little gas tank/battery compartment 3D printed?
I'm guessing he started with plans for a free-flight version and adjusted it to RC. I found several options with a quick google search. including some from the AMA plans archive. plans.modelaircraft.org/product/santos-dumont-demoiselle-4/
That was so beautiful to watch, it was like seeing history in the making.
Woww.....l love it..❤❤❤❤
Form & function in harmony. Lovely. An elegant thing of beauty. Cheers 🍻
Amazing….. thank you for showing
It's a nicely done model!
That looks a lot more fun than many RC planes. I'll take elegance over speed any time.
That is why it was called "Demoiselle", "lady" in french, due to its ellegance and gracefulness
Nice ... very nice ..
Ryan makes some cool planes
Muito bem feito !
Espetacular🌟👏👏
Perfeito !!!♥
O mais belo, simples e eficiente dos aviões pioneiros! The most beautiful, simple and efficient of pioneering aircraft!
Very well done!
It’s a very nicely built scale model it would look nice with one of my hand carved timber props!
Perfect
Very nice
That flies better than the real thing. Great idea for a model. 👍
Have you seen the real thing ?
Superb 5*
Very clean build. Great job hiding the electronics! 10/10
Now make the pilot's head move with the rudder
Why ? You won’t see the pilots head he’s flying the model !
Nice model, well flown and beautiful video.
Show !!!!!!!!!!!!!
NEAT!!
It looks so real, you need to take a dark brown marker to that orange prop to make it look like wood.
Proof of concept :)

Yes, along with the dummy cylinder heads.
Ryan builds some great things, I just happened to be there to record the first flights.
Santos Dumont, Paris 1908. First comercially produced airplane.
sweet job
where dose someone find plans for something like this?

Icônico 👏👏👏👏👏
Какая прелесть
Great static model also. Superb video slow motion quality, is your set-up 60fps or more?
The footage was shot at 120fps
@@greycat_rcIt looks superb. Please keep posting videos. Thank you.
I think you need at least another 1/4 inch- 6 mm forward C.G.
Why was it you flying the model ?
@@tonywright8294 No, it just looked like it jumped into the air a little easy on the second bounce. Maybe it flue level with zero trim.
I always loved indoor planes.... but not indoor flying😂🔄
Should have been an option accessory for all bicycles...attach gears to drive a pusher prop....silly motorists roads are for truckers!! LOL
Needs a bigger propeller 😅
Why ?
nooooo not the wheel
mf in a suit
Flew the same as the real one. Badly.
