Top Boy is in my opinion the single most honest, and well told, story about growing up in poverty stricken neighborhoods/communities in first world countries that’s ever been made. This isn’t just a TV Show. This is EXACTLY what it’s really like.
When Jason died in the fire That was when everything left Sully. You could see everything leaving Sully. That eternal saddens was always in his eyes. Sully look at Jason as younger brother he could take care of. Someone who would never go behind his back. The show choice to kill of Jason was a masterful one.
And Kano absolutely smoked that "eternal sadness" in his eyesrespect, he just changed his acting after Jason's death. Beaultiful acting man, respect to Kano.
Great character his ending actually made sense. People in their line of work do not have happy endings but the way he ended things with Dushane was nuts.
Kano is a different breed, the guy is mad talented from rapping & pouring his heart & soul into acting, playing “Sully” the cold psychotic killer with mad principles & loyalty, him & Ashely Walters did a extremely phenomenal job of Portraying two lowlifes who were greedy & evil driven as all they wanted is Money,Power & Respect, I can’t wait see what these guys do in a future 💯

We saw what he did in the end, why sully killed jaime? Well easy first of all jaimes crew tried to kill sully and went to war with summerhouse, later jaime killed his best friend that was 100 with him just to ”survive”. not just that he even tried to cheat sully and dushane in spain with juan the cop. Of course sully is going to end him? Why he told dushane to get out was easy, dushane cared about himself and the money so he left him with himself and the money he’d earned and was owed that was the deal. Jaq lied to him, the other guy lied for the sake of jaq as well. The thing with him is he wanted loyality and when he found out that not a single person was loyal he became a ”monster”. To be exact they created the monster, sully is the most loyal and the realest! Remember that!
Does anyone else feel that they rushed the final season through? Could've dragged out the Irish story for longer and the Lizzie & Lithe situation I felt. Shame cause it's one of the best shows ever made.
lots of loose ends. the lizzie and lithe thing unsolved, no real confrontation between dushane and the police who had an entire team dedicated to investigating him, dushane's heart issues which seemingly went away magically, the irish gang arc being too short, etc

Lizzie and Lithe successfully escaped and they didn't find them, so we don't know what happened to them. Dushane died before getting answers about his health. I don't think the loose ends are necessarily plot holes. As for the police, they wouldn't ever interact until Dushane was arrested. The only time we see them together is in court when he realises who the junkies actually were. Their cover is blown so obviously they wouldn't return to their undercover work. Its a very grounded show, in real life there would be no arc with the police and a drug dealer, they'd just show up and make arrests.
Sully wore a constant look on his face. The look of bitterness. It’s a look that makes your eyes watery like you’re going to cry, deceiving people to think it’s pain/hurt.
Sully is my favorite! I was mad at him for killing Jamie but I realized he had to kill him because Jamie would have killed him & Dushane. Jamie was very ambitious. Sully heart turned cold as ice after Jason’s death that really hurt. And once you crossed him you never got another chance.
Sully is the kind of character where the protagonist is a villain but you're rooting for him! Pacino in Scarface or The Godfather Walter White in Breaking Bad the list is long, Sully is absolutely on it for me. I know he is a co-protagonist with DuShane but his character arguably has more depth and complexity making for better viewing, in my opinion.

Everybody loves Sully cuz from start to finish he was a real one. He wasn't a snake, he wasn't fake. You knew exactly what hes thinking and what hes gonna do at any point, whether it was evil or not. He stayed true to himself til the very end. 💯
because people identify with him, and he's the main protagonist of the show. We all have that dark side, jungs shadow, if you think you don't, you're lying to yourself. And 'evil' is very subjective. He wasn't evil he was just brutal.
Jaqs should have got done in because of all the grief she caused by her selfishness. She wouldn’t have Lauren or Delroy if it wasn’t for Sully and Dushane. Tbh Lauren and Jaqs did more damage to Summerhouse gang than anyting innit
Sully was the most ungrateful character. Time and again Dushane helped him, covered for him etc while sully was often incompetent. Dushane should have never gotten back with him
Sully may have been a monster but he didn’t start off that way. Imo he was a victim of circumstances and when Jason died that’s when Sully was broken and it was up from there. Jason was the last purest innocent thing to Sully and after Jason’s death I feel Sully had nothing to lose which made him worse.
this show was ♾️/10 too bad that sully got killed but as regular everything has an end , he was the top boy clearly he became heartless, coold blood , a fucking monster on the roads how make them pay for they betrayals .

Jason was a special needs kid. You will find out in season 1 of topboy. He is a bit different you will notice from the begin, he gets bullied around alot and he is not familiar with strength, gl on the serie!
