Very informative. If you have lingering smells you can rent an ozone generator but thoroughly research them first for explicitly following directions ( Don't breathe it, don't run longer than needed, and so on). I have an '02 ZR2 and have no defrost on passenger outlet. Driver side is great. Since you tore it all apart do you have any suggestions? It looks like, from your video, that nothing would fail and cause that to happen. It looks like one common duct. I have not looked at anything yet.

I can't think if any reason that one side would work and not the other. It is all kind of one big chamber. Hopefully it's not clogged with mice carcasses.

I have a 2003 Zr2 with needing to replace my heater core. Was hoping to go thru glove box but it doesn't look like there's any real time saving tricks for getting to old core. If u know of anything please message me asap. Oh I have the hoses by passed on heater entirely. Does this affect where I cannot use my a/c at all or can I use it with no problems. I'm having issues finding someone to replace my core for a decent price. I realize it's detailed and shops charge a fortune. Any ideas bc nobodys interested in doing it so I'm thinking of finding a step by step video that'll show me what to do every step of the way. My main concern is taking dash off n putting it back together correctly...on my own!

Yeah, it's a huge job. I probably could have done it more quickly if I was careful to remove only what was needed, but I wanted to strip it out and clean everything. It's doable, but it's not a fun day!

I am rebuilding one for my son for his 16th birthday... I need to do some of the same stuff you are doing... so hurry up...LOL
Anyways... I asked a question on your front end, can you tell me if any of the ZR2 parts are different than stock/base model front end parts? I know the front axles are longer, but I want to replace all the parts you did... plus my CVs (front axles which I located)... but I can't find anything on the front suspension to tell me what parts there are special to the ZR2 package.

What tools do you use to dismantle and mantle the dash.???
