Honestly I don't even know, I've been following every official Capcom I can't find to get some idea and nothing. I hope for a RECVR hopefully making the Veronica Virus tie into a RE5R better. Idk I got hopes.
I don't think CVX remake is needed. If it's only gonna be about the veronica virus, then Capcom can simply retcon that out, just like they did with so many other things in the remake timeline. Personally, I don't think CVX should be remade. If it's about Claire finding Chris, Game of Oblivion showed us that all Claire had to do is wait, and Leon would've found Chris eventually (remember, Claire says that her brother wasn't even there, and Umbrella didn't know where he was either). If it's the whole thinkg about Wesker being alive, they need to first establish that Wesker died to begin with (RE1 re-remake) .

As for the surveys, at this point, I think it's just something someone from Capcom is doing to justify particular remakes in some order, to get the green light from whoever makes the final decision. I don't think Code Veronica remake got enough of a response to get that green light. If I'm not mistaken, didn't that survey come out BEFORE RE4 remake? I still maintain this, we will NOT get a CVX remake, but we will get a Game of Oblivion remake disguised as a CVX remake. Me personally, I want them to do RE9 and get the original timeline over with.

@@RacoonCityPizza Alright man, let's wait and see. You know I already discovered what is needed to make the game a CV remake instead of a Game of Oblivion remake. Let us see if we get that backwards character arc with Claire.
@@TheBengalDragon I can almost guarantee it's being made. That isn't even including the leak from Dusk. I hope it gets remade, I personally don't like CV. I want to see it done right.
@@RacoonCityPizza I'm quite certain (maybe not as much as you) that it is being remade. As for me, you know I also don't like CVX, but for a specific reason. I don't like it for how badly Capcom executed a GREAT idea. If capcom are gonna make a game that focusses more on the character stories and relationships between the characters whilst surviving a Biohazard, then they should learn from TLOU1. I still maintain this, had CVX been properly executed and fully realized, then everyone would say that TLOU1 is a CVX wannabe with a daddy daughter angle instead. The thing is, I am not confident at all that Capcom are capable of this type of character story telling. Capcom are not as good as Sony Santa Monica or Rockstar games who excell at this aspect.
