The Partridge Family show and albums sparked in me the desire to be a musician. I think I was 11 when "I Can Feel Your Heartbeat" became a hit on the radio. The thumping bass drum intro was stuck in my head forever. I'd fall asleep hearing it. In '72, I got a guitar. Then, my parents got me a blue sparkle drum set from Montgomery Ward for Christmas 1973 and I've played all the years since. Of course, in Jr. High School, you weren't cool if you admitted you listened to them, but those first 2 years I listened to their albums daily and played drums with the Partridge Family, with my headphones on like I was one of them. I'm now 63. I never made music a career, but I have continued to play in local bands (Drums/Lead Vocal or Guitar/Lead Vocal) all the way up to a year ago. And here I am, 63 years old, watching Partridge Family videos at 2am. Seems things have come full-circle. Thank you for posting this!
my mom was born in ‘68. I saw her turn on one of your videos just months ago, and I was enraptured by the beautiful person I saw onscreen. We have you to thank for keeping David’s spirit alive with these amazing remasters. I am 20 yrs old, have never heard of David, but every other adult says, Of course I know David Cassidy. I wish someone told me about him sooner. I have all his albums saved, and bought all the Partridge seasons, watched interviews from before he died, read his memoir. He has brought so much joy to my life, and your video is the way i found out about him. I hope they are shared far and wide, so that these memories stay alive and are never lost in time. even posthumously, he has such a grip on the youth still left in so many hearts. i watch your videos during lunch break. it’s true, they make us happy
Thank you for the kind words! It was never considered "cool" to like the Partridge Family - especially if you were a guy ... but I love their music and grew up on it. I'm at the age where I don't care what people think... and truthfully, most people will admit how talented he really was. The show made them all look like they were making "bubblegum music" but with David's voice (and Shirley + team) they sure didn't sound like bubblegum music. They cranked out some amazing pop tunes!!!
One of my 3 teenage crushes. It's kind of strange that a few weeks before I heard that David was sick and in the hospital I was playing a lot of his music. And then I heard it he was bad and he died a few days later. When he died, a piece of me died with him.
Loved This! Thank you for featuring David Cassidy' s amazing voice, beautiful face and charm.

GOOD JOB!
Fabulous John ❤
It appears on the B-Side of the 45 for the hit I Woke Up In Love This Morning. For me it was "A" all the way.
David’s voice soars in this song.
Another gem so many could have been singles
Perfect mix as usual ❤
Thanks.
R.I.P. David Cassidy.
0:18 Love the pooka shell necklace!
High school day dream. Only., maybe .
Is this 1080p? Looks good what did you use to upscale?
It's only 720. I used Clip Grab to copy the DVD and then edited in iMovie.
@@JArehart see you didn’t do any upscaling at all, and looks fantastic.
Mistake supposed to read so you didn’t do any upscaling at all. Looks fantastic.
I think I saw Cheryl Ladd in this video!
Yes, she was on one episode.
Really ? ❤
