Even WAPP-FM (103.5) debuting in late June 1982 as a Top 40 station didn't stem this because it was not looked at as a legit Top 40 station and the closest otherwise was WYNY-FM (97.1), which really was adult contemporary (the stations famously after format flips switched positions on the dial in 1988). @@vulcan2882 you are right, I was looking for that one
This is hysterical!
Hi how are you doing, how is your day going... Hope the weather is treating you well? I hope you don't mind, I'm really looking forward to having a chat with you if that is okay with you!
Omg so corny, overacting, very simple 80’s video. I LOVE IT!
I'm 51 I think they are underscoring lol Take it up a notch for all the oldies
People think I am 34, I am 51....nice skin, lol, mom laughs, but LOVE THIS, MY FIRST WIFE!!!!
You call this an 80s video? Where are the explosions, dwarves and creepy kids wandering the wasteland of a dystopian society? ;)
Stress free entertainment!
80s👌
Now I get it, the verses of this song were their vows. 😄😄😄😄 I think. Took me a while, but, they didn't exchange RINGS ....🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 what happened to that part ????? I really like this song and I still enjoyed the video Extremely fine singers !!!!!😍😃😍😃😍😀
This is a BETTER world, Only because this video exist.
This song has been covered by so many. It was well written and sung well by all
My new favorite obscure video !!!! 💯
If I had to pick the best five music videos of all time, this song would make it. The best version by far and one of the best music videos I have ever enjoyed.
Robert Smoothy no way, Carl Carlton takes the cake easily!
@@griff1119 I agree!
Beautiful man!!! Remember the tv movie sooner or later ❤
Peaked as high as No. 32 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1981. Such a great cover version.
Only part missing was the wedding ceremony.🤔🤔🤔🤔 😍😍😍😍😍😃😃😃 I like HAPPY videos ! 😄😄😄😄😀
I heard this song for the first time on the radio today and thought "this song is awesome!". And I'm 35 years old.
Rex Smith was so gorgeous back then.
Thank you 1980s. 👍
The music video for Everlasting Love by Rachel Sweet and Rex Smith confirms that both singers' success lies more in marketing than in performing. But the two of them were great singers.
Sooooo Loved this Remake & Video! Nothing like the 80's!
I used to watch Pirates of Penzance on vhs with all the commercials when I was a kid. Rex was probably one of my first crushes. Woof
Such a gorgeous man. ♥️

Rex Smith one of my fave. Singer 80's
One of my all time favorite songs and video!! SOOOOO KOOL!!!
I forgot about Rex Smith. I remember my mom playing his songs as a kid. Especially this one.
And seeing him in The Pirates of Penzance and Street hawk.
I love the made for TV movie Simply Jessie.
I just love this video, bride comes in on a motorbike and ISN'T given away by her dad. More weddings need to be like the one here, we need to dance in the pews.
Yawn
I first knew Rex Smith as Daredevil. Yeah, I feel real old lmao.
Amazing vocals!
I'm so glad this video exists!
timeless classic
Having listened to several covers of this (Gloria Estefan's the most of all), I actually quite enjoyed this duet...even the cheesy video didn't put me off :-) The vocals of both of them were the stars here.
