Your matching hat, cowl, and gloves look so good together! It’s so fun to accomplish a goal, but especially when it works out as great as you hoped! Plus they look beautiful with your sweater!

The pink hat is do you! Your blanket of knowledge looks great!! What a cool stitch, you’re off to a good start!!
Next time we visit Moab I’ll have to check out that yarn store. Love that color you got!!! Capitol Reef was a great park with really good hikes. We did all the same ones you did. The pies were amazing !! I’ve hiked the arches trails 3 times and it is an amazing experience!! So glad you got to experience all these different parks and what they had to offer. Lol Hubby has the t-shirt from Hovenweep. We have a native made arrow from 4 corners.
You really hit all the parks! Creating amazing memories of so many things you’ll never see or experience anywhere else.

I was laughing so hard at "it's snowing in April". April is the 3rd snowiest month in Colorado. March and February are the only two months with more snow. April is usually when we get our insane spring blizzards that dump feet of heavy wet snow.

Instead of using two circulars for your hat, you could try the travelers or traveling loop method, there's some tutorials out there check it out, I think this will be the perfect instance to use that technique. I enjoy, using 2 circulars but sometimes it does get a little clinky.

❤Montrose!! I live in Montrose and sorry we didn’t have a knitting store for you, I wish we did! I’m impressed with your correct pronunciation of Ouray, such a great lovely town for the gateway to the San Juan mountain range …. Next time try the hot Springs in Ouray and there is a campground “Riverbend” in Montrose on the uncompahgre River which is a stones throw away from my abode! You look great in your knits today, and now a few days later, it’s quite warm 😊. I saw on instagram that you saw the Black Canyon and you were in Grand Junction - I’ve lived there also, along with many other states that you have been driving through, it’s been wonderful to follow your adventures and your knitting projects! Keep up the great videos.

Amazon and probably other places have hand winding center pull able basically sticks that are awesome! I just looked I've had mine for about 3 years and I use mine all the time (not usually for Hanks) but despite having a ball winder and Swift I still get plenty of use out of it... Just search like hand ball winder stick doing know why I didn't think to recommend these sooner😅

Yes! I wind centre pull cakes by hand all the time - I don't even have a specialist tool for it, I just use a sharpie 😊 or other similar sized pen. I like to secure the end I'm starting with around the pen lid, and then wind around the other end, so the little flap on the pen lid (what is that called?) keeps the centre-pull-end from getting lost.

Tha❤nk you for another great episode! I am taking notes for what i hope hubs and I do someday … and take a van trip like u are around the country … your guidance really helps !
And u totally inspired me to make the blanket . I bought the pattern and am deciding on colors ! I love love that I can use sock yarn doubled and I hope to find something explaining the two extra rows and joining system you are using ! Keep’em coming !

Thank you for another great episode, I enjoy watching your podcast every week! I am currently knitting my second Manhattan Hat and I also did the tubular cast on - but did you now, that there is a method to use Judys magic cast on for that? For me, it made it so much easier! Tash from Mostly knitting podcast has a great tutorial :)

As always loving the podcasts and watching you l,Kent and Toaster’s adventures 🚐! 😊
I have a suggestion for the left over yarn from the Hexie blanket. What do think about making socks 🧦 from every state y’all visit (or a Mussellburgh for Kent😉). I think that could be a super cool and fun project. 🧶☺️

A really personal question, we're do I get the little dots you out over a zit?? Even at 76 they still appear. Have a lovely week.😊

Might I suggest that you cease from commenting on Montana's big sky until you actually see it! There are beautiful skies everywhere, but denigrating our sky before you have done your van tour of Montana is a cheap shot.

If go through Scottsbluff Nebraska, you should stop at Brown Sheep, in Mitchell, Nebraska, it’s awesome, and they have a little store with the dye studio. Every one there is awesome too.
