Hi Natalie - I am binge watching / catching up on your spring posts! What fun travels you are having! Glad you made it to Cowgirl Yarn - we love Lori and that store (and Laramie!). Years ago I was traveling from Kansas to montana and ran out of yarn for the project I was working on - I called ahead to see if cowgirl yarn had it and they did! Lori met me after hours on a Saturday night at the store so I could get my yarn and continue my project! ❤ Happy trails and knitting/crocheting to you! Enjoy your adventures! And hope to see you this October at Rhinebeck?? (Madison’s mom - Tara)
@Genia I really enjoyed the podcast. I loved the project bag's. I can never have enough project bag's myself. The scene behind you was beautiful. Hope you, Kent, and Toaster have a wonderful day.😊
Hi Natalie! I saw your stories last week show a blanket I made! You said it might need to be your next blanket project and I really hope you do! It was such a fun one to make. It was @while.they.dream’s Birds of a Feather blanket using @greenletterday yarn in two-tone blocks with puff stitch crosses. Seriously my most favorite project I’ve ever made❤ Love seeing all of your projects this week, as always! Have a safe flight to Texas!
❤ Maggie Sefton’s Knitting Mystery books! I’ve been through Fort Collins many times before I became a knitter. Now, after knitting and listening to all her books I’m wanting to make a trip back to see the store and coffee shop. I’m really looking forward to your video tour of Lambspun!
I hope to see you in Cody Wy at Wyoming Yarn and Fiber soon. I can't imagine coming to Wyoming without going through the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park! Safe travels!
Happy and safe travels. Good vibes Lydia is repaired by the time you return to Vegas. Enjoy watching your knitting, crochet and travel journey. Take care and continued blessings.
Thank you for a great episode 😊 it looks like there is a pulled stitch or something, near the bottom, (the right side of the screen near your hand) when you show your hat, please check the hat, in case it turns out that its a missed stitch 😱 hopefully its just a visual glitch with the video or something 🤞
I've never been to Wyoming, but I have made a purchase from the Yarn and the Tale through their website because they had a really good sale. They also sent me a canvas project bag and a smaller bag of stitch markers. 😊
I think I will get the yarn you are using for the Texas Rangers can cozy and make one for me, since that is now my newest baseball teams. And then I will make one with my Colorado Rockies colors. Next time we will have to get a photo. Happy trails. Cindy
I LOVE my Enchanted and Cabin in the Woods Blankets of Knowledge!!! It is so fun to see your Serenity crochet version. I am reading Remarkably Bright Creatures, too. LOL Small world. It's so cool you got to go to the murder mystery yarn store! I've read all those books, too and hope to one day visit the shop!
Your podcasts are a perfect combination... knitting, travel and National Parks. I am on my way now to volunteer at a Minnesota National Park. Enjoy the wedding and TX
What a coincidence! On Wednesday at my LYS, I bought my first ever skein of Salty Blonde Fiber in their Hometown base (NSW merino/alpaca/silk). I was shocked I was able to find a NSW sock yarn, and I'm starting a Musselburgh for my friend's birthday gift (bought the pattern with your discount code 🤭❤️) Take care, Natalie! - Era
Thanks for the podcast! I'm not sure if you can control this, but I just wanted to mention that the UA-cam ads are starting to make the podcasts unwatchable for me 😭 I'm getting a 60-90 second unskippable ad every 5 minutes and it's hard to keep bouncing between your podcast and an ad. Again, not sure if you can control that but wanted to let you know because I don't want to miss out, but wanted to let you know just in case! 😢
I was wondering how y'all planned your trip! It seems like a lot of back and forth through the same states. I would have no idea how to plan hitting up every state!!
When you said your hat was damp and had that "delicious " smell, I almost spit out my coffee. Haha Do people actually like that smell??!! Genuinely asking, cause that wet wool smell makes me want to puke. Lol Obviously, dry wool is fine. 😂😂
Just wanted to let you know that whenever I try to visit your website it says that it's 'Private' and asks me whether I'm the owner. No hate, just an fyi. :-)
Hey Natalie! Do you know if the discount for square space works on their annual website cost? And does the cost for the website include accepting payment online or is that a separate cost? Thanks!
So great to meet you at Lambspun in Colorado. Don't forget about Knit on Pearl in Jackson.
You said Vernal correctly the first time you said it😂

I always use a pillow case when I work on my blankets. It makes it so much easier when turning my work.
Ooh that's a great idea!
When you announced the town it was the frist one
There is also a PNW slow crawl that goes from May 25th - Sep. 2nd. It’s mostly Washington, but some stores are in Oregon as well.

Same! It makes it hard to watch!
Hi Natalie, any tips for blocking swatches with very stretchy stitches like ribbing? I'm always confused about how much/little to stretch my swatch.

Vernal is pronounced like you first said it, ver-null :)
Ooh thank you!
