Just a few hours ago I saw there's a new trailer and if they show Rey Dau doing something crazy, right after I uploaded, I'm gonna crash out no cap lol Hope you enjoy the video!!!
@@plus-delta4477 If they port his Rise/Sunbreak moveset over, he'd actually be extremely challenging. I'd like to have an "oh shit" moment like when I first met him in 3U.
Who could blame us he’s sick and when his gameplay or actions in wilds could maybe put him up even higher I feel rathalos is going to get a buff but I think he’s going to end up about tier 2.5 almost 3 he’s going g to be below tier three so a good bit above rathalos and above seregios but only a little cause we see him matching arkvald which I have a feeling could match devil jo for a little bit not win of draw but last for a minute
Except Rajang hunts Kirins, so your argument that it's inferior to Rey kinda falls flat. We don’t really see Rajang in sandy plains either. "Put on his ass" literally tanked it and proceeded to break Kirin's horns.
I only said that his THUNDER capabilities are stronger than Rajang's. Never said Rajang was inferior. That's why I didn't put Rey Dau in the 3rd tier. Rajng did tank that lightning blast but it still did wayyyy more than when other elder dragons try breath attacks or even hits from Bazel and Deviljho. Rajang was flat on the ground for not moving for several seconds. He got put on his ass. Also think you meant to say proceeded to EAT kirin's horn :)
If that’s the case, arkveld would be third tier of higher. Not to mention that arkveld was fighting Rey Dau in HIS nest. Knowing that rey dau’s lightning is stronger in his nest and the fact that arkveld has no problem fighting there, then arkveld is a damm beast.
The sheer movement plasticity on Rey Dau is insane, especially when it's flying. It can adjust it's maneuvers to the surroundings with a degree of fluidity that i didn't think was even possible
After i looked throw all Trailers i Thing this Thunder IS more Like a Natural anomaly because These little Monsters Had this Kind of Lightningrod, so IT means IT could BE First evolved to this because of Ray Dau or secound because of a Nature anomaly. But ITS Just a realy stretched theory P.s. Thank you for making a hole Video about such a small detail❤
I think this is a big bit of Rey Dau glaze, since we're running mostly off clips rn. I think before we start powerscaling the Wilds cast, we need to wait for the lorebook and artbook first. And yk, more than a totaled like 13 hours of gameplay from different sources
I meannnnn it is glaze honestly but I feel like I made good enough points to show that it's not just glaze just to glaze. Like he's an apex, he has really strong thunder abilities, and good flight capabilities. He should be glazed a little bit since Arkveld is stealing his.........THUNDER!!!! :3
@@spottablegaming425 aye, im not disagreeing. He and Uth Duna are my absolutely favorite members of the Wilds cast so far At the same time though, a lot of what makes Rey Dau feel so much stronger is Wilds simply being a different game to previous games. No monster in World was able to create protruding fulgurite with lightning not because they aren't strong enough, but very well because World wasn't built for a mechanic like that I have a hunch Kirin will be makin' fulgurite too if he's in Wilds
That was a great video, but now, i hope we have a subspecie of Rey Dau like the frostfang Baritoh. A Rey Dau who have silver scales, bigger horns, strikes purple lightning and can do an electric nova move. Dont ask me why, it just came to my mind and i love this idea ._.
I’d like to mention that when Rey dau uses his railgun it does almost 1000 damage compared to a high roll just over a 100 with everything else in fact the average damage for the hunter is 32 and you don’t see more than that unless it’s a heavy weapon meaning that Rey dau’s rail gun no sells every thing seen in monster hunter right now in fact Rey dau’s rail gun actually does more damage than the actual lightning bolt that can hit monsters
@@spottablegaming425 depending on his element which I think is dragon because the purple glow on his whips I imagine some kind of tornado of dragon or something
i would have to say that rey dau is like the skrill from httyd because when the skrill is flying he can harness lighting as power and the skrill is real strong when he is in stroms and every sees what happens when toothless plasma blast and the skrills lighting meet in the middle
I think Rey dau would put up a good fight against a deviljho or a bazelgeuse but I think his chances of winning against them would like 60/40. Like any other apex he would put up a good fight but I don’t think he’d always win
I agree. If anything, his strong charged lightning shot would give a good chance at escaping since it's pretty strong. Plus, both are weak to thunder :)
i personally think if we used points to say the tier id say ray dau would lack 4 points to become a tier 3 but he would be one of the higest on the tier 2 lets say that tier 1 is from 1-25 tier to is from 26 to 60 and tier 3 is from 61 to 100 ray dau would have 60
wait wut? Rajang definitely destroyed that boulder. we see him easily break chucks of the rock from the ceiling with his lazer and said rock/boulder was used as a shield by the admiral, and in that scuffle with the admiral you can see rajang's beam actively chipping away at that boulder, and by the end when the hunter jumps onto jang to save the admiral, you see the boulder crumbles away and also partially melted when the admiral tossed it aside, so the notion that jang's beam is weak is utter nonsense here.
Personally, I currently place the Rey Dau at the same level in the “Monster Hunter” food chain as the Almuldron, Astalos, Brachydeos, Duramboros, Garamgolm, Glavenus (hell-blade excluded), Mizutsune and Seregios. It has some interesting abilities but the durability of the monsters is just crazy and I doubt it can beat Bazelgeuse, Deviljho, Diablos, Tigrex or Sand Barioth and I think many lightning monsters can turn sand into glass, just that they don't live in a desert and there are console graphics limitations.
the mosnters in wilds are... like we have monsters like dha boi forg man chatacabra that are cute, or like flover spider lala barina that is cool looking. but than we have monsters like rey dau here that looks fu*king terrifying like look at that face that is a face of nightmares brooooo
He’s probably at bazelgeuse level of power since he can apparently fight arkveld in an actually meaningful way and you can’t tell me that he isn’t very strong
@@milessaxton An impromptu tier system that I mad lol BUUUUT there are levels of power in the apex monsters. Like tigrex is strong but would be demolished by gammoth!!
I doubt Arky is invader tier personally (I am a huge advocate for ending the "God tier level of power super mega ecosystem smasher" style of flagship tho)
What if Arkveld was in a similar evolutionary wise to Rey Dau, like say a Arkveld went to windward and evolved to adapt to the region and possible become Rey Dau (just a theory)
Bro you missed something in the trailer. A giant saitama hole in a rock formation. It wasn’t naturally there. I think this new monster punched it out with electricity. If so, that’s just as impressive if not more impressive than the feet with the electricity on the sand.
I would love for more wyverns/beasts to have turf wars with Elder Dragons like Deviljho, Rajang, Magnamalo, Espinas, Apex Zinogre, Odogaron, and Lunagaron
@@IndominusRex-wc1ey Nah, more like smaller interactions or one sided scuffles like Lunagaron and Odogaron who get an A for effort, perhaps a lower tier monster like Great Girros running on sight or getting decimated in combat by Vaal. Espinas were practically designed to counter Kushala and Magnamalo is an Elder Dragon tier monster like Rajang. Just some more monster interactions sound fun to me, imagine a false turf war where a weaker monster like Lavisioth roars at a Teostra, looking like a battle before immediately booking it, using the legendary Joestar technique.
I would be curious to see other Thunder Monsters in the Windward Plains, is it Rey Dau's power or is it a special property of the sand there? I get the sense that the jutting upwards is a Monster Hunter thing and not necessary a show of power (in scale of in world, obviously its a show of power to us IRL)
I feel if Rey Dau encounters a thunder elemental monster it most likely will win but only something like Rajang can beat Rey Dau because Rajang is literally insane especially in strength, Rey Dau most likely absorb thunder strikes and other thunder attacks. But I think only giant/very big thunder monsters like Narwa can beat Rey Dau
You gotta realize you fight Rey dau before Uth duna! So while its a strong dragon its definetly not even close to weak elder dragon level probably. Atleast on Rank.
Tbh, he’s probably Rathalos level, punching up to Azure and maybe Bazel.
Lowkey. But Bazel might be a stretch as he's low elder dragon tier.
@@Auvisome I only said Bazel due to the thunder weakness
I'm actually hoping Rathalos gets a buff in this game. My guy has a punching bag for too long 😂
Bazel is a little stretch.... but the other is fine
