As a Limbo/Caliban main who literally just made a video explaining how Pupsker's recent video on Caliban is uninformed and disingenuous: Thank you for this video. Im so tired of people just perpetuating misinformation and not doing their own legwork to understand a warframe on their own. its okay if you dislike a frame, but just saying "its limbo" is unacceptable for content creators whos entire platform is based on knowing what theyre talking about.
Major props for explaining the "why" behind everything rather than just showing a loadout to copy. There's an incredible amount of game-breaking stuff in Warframe that's never spread or talked about, partly due to the plague of "just use these mods bro" videos that go around. The builds aren't even very good most of the time either. Then stuff gets changed, some things get nerfed, specific setups become outdated, and people's brains short-circuit until another content creator spoon-feeds them another mediocre loadout. Thanks for being a real one, even if it might not be the greatest thing for the algorithm.

Most of them are FAR easier to play than Limbo, are better at killing dudes (the main point of the game at this point), and therefore attract more people. They're playing Warframe like the run-and-gun looter-shooter it is. You're wanting to play it like a FromSoft game. And that's perfectly fine! I'm not gonna yuk your yum. I mained Limbo from 2016-2018. But. Warframe has changed. The player base has changed. You CLEARLY love Limbo for all he can do, and stretch to make him do things that weren't even in DE's braintrust when Limbo came out. But there are better frames to make those same accomplishments. Even Dante.
Id say in terms of DPS absolutely you have to stretch him with a bunch of extra tools as you are endevouring to ad to his kit as a supliment but once you have that hes decent to great, though ofcause others are at a baseline just better. I outkill a fair few dps frames on the regular with exeption of sevagoth and an a well optimised saryn and mesa. Low enemy density like exterminate he does utterly suck at however. In terms of support he's king of interception(his rift alone will prevent even eximus from interacting with the terminals no stasis needed), defection(banish + heal), index(goal keeping), operative defence(banish + heal), kuva survival(the pods have 0 shield), mobile defence, and excavation without a doubt. Mirror defense hes on par with a frost in defensive ability but not team support. Spy is debatable though luna spy is undeniable because he avoids the frost floors. His adaptability makes him a fantastic defensive pick in Circuit and open world. The new ascension mode he banishes the pod on the final stretch making it guaranteed smooth sailing. Minor benefit but still great usecases. Cetus Drone escort. Sabotage and hive (walks though enviormental effects as if they where not there. walks through laser barriers, destroys the reactor instantly with cataclysm.) Ambulas bossfight kela d thaym. Rescue. (banish the operative)
He said that Breach Surge was S tier on Garuda, with nothing else working at all, but I put Reave on her, and it feels so much better, and makes her Bleed Procs kill at level cap in seconds without buildup.

This is such a fantastic kit overview, that it provides an active looking glass into the current state of the game. I'm an equinox main and have actively seen how much damage Dante and "nuke builds" do to the game. Nearly every build commonly used on equinox is some form of nuking build, completely replacing half of her kit's functionality with an armor strip to use less damage for buildup and nuke faster. This removes her entire identity for the sake of raw, no-LOS damage. Since players flock to this build, it actively dissuades DE from fixing a frame with 2-3 band-aid augment mods, some necessary for the base kit to function as intended. With limbo, this is more a story of misunderstanding and the general state of the game deteriorating due to some clear dislocations between design and how players interact with said design. However, there are many frames (both requiring help and not) that get hurt by the same general trends/misinformation spread by the community. I really hope that community leaders (along with the player base) takes a more collaborative and informative approach when discussing frames/frame design as time goes on. Much like the video you made here! You've really set the bar high and I really hope you continue to make collaborative, informative videos such as this. You, your collaborators, and community editors never cease to amaze me with your creativity and love for your interests! Thank you for sharing everything here ^^

So besides the quality of life for teammates of Limbo and the minor buffs he needs, when he does get reworked they should release a trailer for him where he just sits having tea in the rift with Grineer shooting at him.
As someone with over 5 years of experience being a limbo main, I’ll say you did a good job summarizing things. Alot of content creators get him wrong due to a fallacy in their designated title. In other words, just because you’re a pilot doesn’t mean you know how to expertly fly any plane in any conditions. And limbo is a rather unique plane and condition. For me, I’ve recently been musing with a energy tank setup that lets me afk in steel path outside the rift. And with little to no setup I’m able to out kill and out dps any other frame, while still maintaining limbo’s abilities effectiveness and versatility. It’s so strong, I didn’t even realize dante was that good from those I saw play them (only getting 100k over guard being my experience) not even optimized xaku’s or mirages can outmatch it.
A Limbo player that knows what they're doing, in a team that knows how Limbo works, is almost unheard of. But IF you ever see it happen, its amazing. I seen it 2ce in 8 years

I understand the current appeal of most Warframes being quick, easy, and simplistic in their designs to ta kle the challenges in the game. The whole "press one button, immediate serotonin" is nice for someone who enjoys immediate gratification. There are some who enjoy the more complex and intricate gameplay with a careful and tedious setup but an ovwrall cathartic outcome. Warframe is great because it gives both options to its player base. To play and enjoy the game however they want.
One thing I've noticed about most build guides is that they don't account for team synergy. Most builds out there focus on solo play then cause some friction when used in pug settings. High str wisp depleting ammo, max speed volt messing with titania, citrine/harrow/seva giving cc when a teammate is using felarx/laetum/phenmor, etc. Nice to see it being mentioned to some degree.
Ive been playing for almost 3 yrs now as a Limbo main. There are things in this video that even I didnt know (small things but there non the less). You have created the worlds best Limbible. Going over team play is crucial too and you opened my eyes as to how I can play with randos as my main. For all this time I usually play Limbo with randos and I just dont use my abilities unless I need to. CC makes a great panic button if a teammate goes down. Limbo is one of the few support CC frames that is very good at getting downed allies back up. I tip my hat to you from one Limbo to another.
The problem with mainstream Warframe "content" "creators" is that most of them are 3 years behind mentally and refuse to put in the effort to test things for themselves
And this translates to their audience and thus even further into some public matches I encounter on daily basis. ...been like that ever since I started this game (early 2022)

As a Chroma main whenever I see a limbo player I make shur to stick near them so they constantly get my buffs. I respect TF out of you guys because of your crowd control and utility despite having no ability’s that directly buff you at all, I make shur to always help you out because you guys are some of the best to play with. I am all for shitting on the awful Warframe UA-camrs. Particularly Knightmare. I think their similar dismissal and false information on Grendel helped lead to the greatest nerf in Warframe history - which they then had the gall to call a buff.
I found this video today and I love every bit of it. This solidifies my thoughts similar to the "Don't use overframe builds" post from reddit. To fully understand Warframe, we literally need to read things for ourselves instead of listening to people and expecting to just copy everything that they do. It's kinda ridiculous that I was trying to find a more detailed guide on limbo today to see that this 1000000/10 guide was released less than 2 weeks ago. I don't have time to personally test all of this, unfortunately. I didn't know that you could hold banish to release everything from the rift, or that rift surge activated when enemies left the rift (I've always just subsumed his 3 off because of taking advice from other popular guide makers). Having these two new nuggets of information is literally becoming a cataclysm in my mind. I really appreciate this extremely detailed guide that was sadly missing from the warframe culture. I have always loved limbo, but never had the time to truly delve deep enough to find these amazing secrets. You are also amazing for pointing out your influences, or the "old guard" for this knowledge. Edit: im still watching, 56:35 I feel like I'm the only person who uses arcane ice to fully ignore the most threatening eximus Edit 2: 1:14:00 I just so happen to have a riven for the zymos and a fully built mod config :) I'm very excited now! Edit 3: 1:18:00 With the new koumei - companion rework that came out days after this was uploaded, there are a lot of companions that are completely busted damage-wise. I keep seeing people posting videos about their hounds doing 150k dps.
Hey SciFi. Doubt we've ever conversed at any point through the subreddit or anything, but months ago, i'd started working on making my own limbo guide video. I had built and fully forma'd 3 limbo prime's to showcase all of the builds i'd made (some of our builds and numbers behind them being EERILY similar but you know what they say about great minds) and even farmed 3 prime sets to giveaway to other tenno as part of the release of the guide. Unfortunately, life got in the way a few months back and I had to put warframe aside instead of going further and showcasing the prestige (a LOT of nonsense IRL i'd rather not get into in a random YT comment). But seeing someone else step up and rep the magician in the community warms my heart and the anxiety i had about not releasing a guide to help the community understand him better is all but relieved. The understated but vocal players of our enigma give me hope that Pablo not only sees the our diligence but also that he knows how much we *enjoy* putting the effort into seeing our ideas realized in our build -> gameplay translation. I look forward to seeing it more and hopefully i can hop online more nowadays with things starting to settle down.
You are still by far the only youtuber that really gives off the feeling to engage diving into frame and weapon's mechanic and synergies to make something fun, instead of just going for a revenant torid nourish build, congrats on such a good video

Hey, Sci-Fi Freak, I saw Limbo's kit and design (Against the advice of many of my friends, who told me he was garbage) and watched this video, but can't find exactly where you say what to use with him being companions, melees, primary or secondaries, or how to mod him. Could you please tell me how you would play him, what weapons and companions to use, how to mod him, and if you couldn't do this, could you maybe point me to a source of information where I would receive concrete advice on how to maximize his CC abilities.

I've stood my ground on limbo for years, he's never been terrible, people just do not know how to play around or with him. Great two hour dive. Absolutely impeccable work, especially in getting other people to speak on subjects like AI states or rhino. Limbo is the king of mobile defense and interception, and I stand by that statement to this day.
I came here just for a copy paste build but i must say, this is one of if not the best deep dive explaining all faucets of a warframe. I and im sure many others would thoroughly enjoy a video like this on other frames as well!
There is a complain I don't see many people do about Pablo era's reworks and new frames. Although I don't know if he is the only one designing the frames kits now, I could predict he is, since all his reworks and his new frames feel too safe, too focused on working in the current meta, nothing too creative or that much innovative about their kits, and although they certainly work, they sometimes feel underwhelming, like Hydroid's kit. That is also why the Warframes he has done recently feel samey, because they are following a formula at this point, the augments don't stray that far to make the warframe play differently too.
@@ChozenBardoUmbra I have a similar thought to this, essentially I find the reworks to be easier to use in higher level content but sucking the fun out of them. Can't eat 50 people as Grendel, can't keep making Sand Clones as Inaros, I only cared about Hydroid because of puddle form (they really could have just merged it into his 2 like they did with Inaros' abilities)
Honestly I knew there was always... something, odd, about how people talked about Limbo. It didn't hit me until you said that they thought the rift *was* his 4 that I realized that holy shit, they're doing things the hard way.
as soon as i saw the vid i got limbo and started cooking, i rewatched the video 4 TIMES. just to understand the damn frame. now i know how he works, now i know i like the frame, now i consider myself a limbo main. ( unrelated but i even wana become a math teacher, limbo is in my walls. ;-; )
Regardless of effectiveness, forcing cataclysm to be smaller is directly against the fun factor to me. There’s banish to place this or those enemies into the rift in front of you, but the point of cataclysm’s range potential to me is supposed to be that you have this ultimate move that turns the entire large area into something you control. A rework should make this more realized, and shrinking the bubble size isn’t part of that.
I hate the shrinking cataclysm too. It should give the feeling of "You're in my world now." Cause not only feels better to play in, it also makes sense thematically. You are ripping out a plane of existence and placing it into a world where you are a God.

Ah yes finally, riftbound has been reborn. Fr tho this video will be really good for limbo since you actually know what you're talking about when it comes to him. I've been playing him for like 5 years at this point and I still learn new things about him.
Two things, i love how you used armored core 6 sound tracks at the right moments it made limbo sound and feel more powerful. Lastly as someone who LOVES limbo i didn’t know he has a hold function to banish but the radial banish combo i knew about. I do have much to learn about his augment rift torrent so i will probably revisit this video for that purpose
I've barely started to watch the video but... FINALLY. Finally, someone mentioned tier lists of large content creators. They're so subjective it's hard for me to watch them. Yes, every tier list is subjective but content creators' opinion is the respected one so you expect something less subjective. And yet we keep looking at "Saryn best girl ever cuz damage" and "who needs interesting gameplay when damage go brrr". And it's not just Limbo, quite a bunch of frames are forgotten or disrespected like that. But, yeah, Limbo is the one who always gets the worst treatment despite the fact he is as good as others, he just plays differently.
Most of the large content creators are stuck on simplicity. If it's not braindead gameplay or requires too high APM then it's not good according to them. I stopped watching most of them a long time ago

I've played with good (non-troll) limbo's in defense/mining missions. The constant map-wide stuns, inability for enemies to even touch the drills/cryopod, and the free revives made me lose my mind with how many rewards we got during the mission.

1:01:19 Rapid Resilience is genius. Arson eximus were the bane of my existence. The blast knocked away my shields and the dot killed me shortly afterwards. This neuters them while giving many other benefits. Indeed very underrated.
I just started experimenting with Limbo, and I love the concept. But there are a few things I’d like to see added or changed. One is a baseline thing but would probably be insanely overpowered. The other two ideas could be augment mods for Rift Surge. Base Change: Limbo is invisible when ALONE in the rift and not in combat. That will let him just walk through spy missions or get into position, but the second he pulls an enemy into the rift to initiate combat he becomes visible across the rift again. Likewise, any ongoing source of damage Limbo or his enemies suffer will keep him visible for the duration. Mod One: Instead of spreading Rift Surge to other enemies and forcing them into the rift, this mod would make Rift Surge do void damage in an AOE around any enemies ejected from the rift. This is a little more complex than being a fire-and-forget nuke however. First you have to pull enemies into the rift to prime them with Surge to begin with, the effect doesn’t apply when the enemy dies within the rift, and it scales based on the number of affected enemies. So, you’d still need to employ strategy and positioning to get the most out of it. Mod Two: Cross Dimensional damage to surged targets. Once again, this disables Rift Surge being able to force targets back into the rift, so you can banish enemies, prime them with surge, and then eject them from the rift to maintain your own safety. The benefit here is any enemies affected by the new Rift Surge debuff this mod applies can be damaged by Limbo and his allies across dimensions. So, you could banish a group of enemies, surge them, then eject them from the rift where they cannot damage you, but where you can now damage them. In squad play this eliminates the dimension issue for your allies, as even if you keep enemies in the rift to lock them down with stasis your allies can still attack them through the rift so long as Rift Surge is active.

i think the reason why limbo is so underutilized and unseen is because the meta. People wants to learn easier alternatives that form part of the damage meta because they think its worthless to learn the difficult kit of limbo instead of simply playing someone like revenant or saryn. I think in the beginning you described the warframe community perfectly on how its very lazy and uneducated, and have evolved to only care about whats actually good instead of being fun. My point is: The Meta™ doesn't matter. But it actually kills the game's fun tremendously. (btw nice touch of putting prey's ost at the beginning, i love that game :])
As someone who is a new player in Warframe and Limbo as my first frame, The rift color hue change actually helps for me. What's not helping is the not-so-visible shimmer aura whenever I cast banish on enemies. There were lots of instances where I completely forgot I banish an enemy that I was trying to hit. Maybe DE should improve the visibility aura shimmer when using banish so that players can quickly sort out which enemy is sent to the rift and which isn't at a quick glance.
@@Sci-Fi_Freak_YTI knew it, i'm not the only one who noticed that detail. The domain expansion + stasis combo is viable but only on non-eximus mobs (it's kinda a high risk, high reward combo with eximus units for me). Do the combo with 3-4 eximus units, Limbo will be smoked in 30 seconds. You can't play Limbo as somekind of soldier, you play Limbo as a magician thief or in my case, Kaito Kid from Detective Conan.
@@vanfrancisco4573 he actually can deal with eximus easily if you maintain good positioning, or (if you know the secrets like I do) utilize Vazarin Sling.

This is such a fantastic kit overview, that it provides an active looking glass into the current state of the game.
I'm an equinox main and have actively seen how much damage Dante and "nuke builds" do to the game. Nearly every build commonly used on equinox is some form of nuking build, completely replacing half of her kit's functionality with an armor strip to use less damage for buildup and nuke faster. This removes her entire identity for the sake of raw, no-LOS damage. Since players flock to this build, it actively dissuades DE from fixing a frame with 2-3 band-aid augment mods, some necessary for the base kit to function as intended.
With limbo, this is more a story of misunderstanding and the general state of the game deteriorating due to some clear dislocations between design and how players interact with said design. However, there are many frames (both requiring help and not) that get hurt by the same general trends/misinformation spread by the community. I really hope that community leaders (along with the player base) takes a more collaborative and informative approach when discussing frames/frame design as time goes on. Much like the video you made here!

So besides the quality of life for teammates of Limbo and the minor buffs he needs, when he does get reworked they should release a trailer for him where he just sits having tea in the rift with Grineer shooting at him.
As someone with over 5 years of experience being a limbo main, I’ll say you did a good job summarizing things. Alot of content creators get him wrong due to a fallacy in their designated title. In other words, just because you’re a pilot doesn’t mean you know how to expertly fly any plane in any conditions. And limbo is a rather unique plane and condition.
For me, I’ve recently been musing with a energy tank setup that lets me afk in steel path outside the rift. And with little to no setup I’m able to out kill and out dps any other frame, while still maintaining limbo’s abilities effectiveness and versatility.
It’s so strong, I didn’t even realize dante was that good from those I saw play them (only getting 100k over guard being my experience) not even optimized xaku’s or mirages can outmatch it.

I read it as thourghtlessnes at first and honnestly in a sarcastic way that sorta worked too.
I understand the current appeal of most Warframes being quick, easy, and simplistic in their designs to ta kle the challenges in the game. The whole "press one button, immediate serotonin" is nice for someone who enjoys immediate gratification. There are some who enjoy the more complex and intricate gameplay with a careful and tedious setup but an ovwrall cathartic outcome. Warframe is great because it gives both options to its player base. To play and enjoy the game however they want.

One thing I've noticed about most build guides is that they don't account for team synergy. Most builds out there focus on solo play then cause some friction when used in pug settings. High str wisp depleting ammo, max speed volt messing with titania, citrine/harrow/seva giving cc when a teammate is using felarx/laetum/phenmor, etc. Nice to see it being mentioned to some degree.
I plan on starting a series that bridges off of this video talking about individual frames with limbo in an episodic sequence.
Ive been playing for almost 3 yrs now as a Limbo main. There are things in this video that even I didnt know (small things but there non the less).
You have created the worlds best Limbible.
Going over team play is crucial too and you opened my eyes as to how I can play with randos as my main.
For all this time I usually play Limbo with randos and I just dont use my abilities unless I need to. CC makes a great panic button if a teammate goes down.
Limbo is one of the few support CC frames that is very good at getting downed allies back up.

The problem with mainstream Warframe "content" "creators" is that most of them are 3 years behind mentally and refuse to put in the effort to test things for themselves

I didn't know that you could hold banish to release everything from the rift, or that rift surge activated when enemies left the rift (I've always just subsumed his 3 off because of taking advice from other popular guide makers). Having these two new nuggets of information is literally becoming a cataclysm in my mind.
I really appreciate this extremely detailed guide that was sadly missing from the warframe culture. I have always loved limbo, but never had the time to truly delve deep enough to find these amazing secrets. You are also amazing for pointing out your influences, or the "old guard" for this knowledge.

Doubt we've ever conversed at any point through the subreddit or anything, but months ago, i'd started working on making my own limbo guide video. I had built and fully forma'd 3 limbo prime's to showcase all of the builds i'd made (some of our builds and numbers behind them being EERILY similar but you know what they say about great minds) and even farmed 3 prime sets to giveaway to other tenno as part of the release of the guide. Unfortunately, life got in the way a few months back and I had to put warframe aside instead of going further and showcasing the prestige (a LOT of nonsense IRL i'd rather not get into in a random YT comment).
But seeing someone else step up and rep the magician in the community warms my heart and the anxiety i had about not releasing a guide to help the community understand him better is all but relieved. The understated but vocal players of our enigma give me hope that Pablo not only sees the our diligence but also that he knows how much we *enjoy* putting the effort into seeing our ideas realized in our build -> gameplay translation. I look forward to seeing it more and hopefully i can hop online more nowadays with things starting to settle down.
You are still by far the only youtuber that really gives off the feeling to engage diving into frame and weapon's mechanic and synergies to make something fun, instead of just going for a revenant torid nourish build, congrats on such a good video

Hey, Sci-Fi Freak, I saw Limbo's kit and design (Against the advice of many of my friends, who told me he was garbage) and watched this video, but can't find exactly where you say what to use with him being companions, melees, primary or secondaries, or how to mod him. Could you please tell me how you would play him, what weapons and companions to use, how to mod him, and if you couldn't do this, could you maybe point me to a source of information where I would receive concrete advice on how to maximize his CC abilities.

I've stood my ground on limbo for years, he's never been terrible, people just do not know how to play around or with him.

I came here just for a copy paste build but i must say, this is one of if not the best deep dive explaining all faucets of a warframe. I and im sure many others would thoroughly enjoy a video like this on other frames as well!
There is a complain I don't see many people do about Pablo era's reworks and new frames.
Although I don't know if he is the only one designing the frames kits now, I could predict he is, since all his reworks and his new frames feel too safe, too focused on working in the current meta, nothing too creative or that much innovative about their kits, and although they certainly work, they sometimes feel underwhelming, like Hydroid's kit. That is also why the Warframes he has done recently feel samey, because they are following a formula at this point, the augments don't stray that far to make the warframe play differently too.
@@ChozenBardoUmbra I have a similar thought to this, essentially I find the reworks to be easier to use in higher level content but sucking the fun out of them. Can't eat 50 people as Grendel, can't keep making Sand Clones as Inaros, I only cared about Hydroid because of puddle form (they really could have just merged it into his 2 like they did with Inaros' abilities)

Regardless of effectiveness, forcing cataclysm to be smaller is directly against the fun factor to me. There’s banish to place this or those enemies into the rift in front of you, but the point of cataclysm’s range potential to me is supposed to be that you have this ultimate move that turns the entire large area into something you control. A rework should make this more realized, and shrinking the bubble size isn’t part of that.
I hate the shrinking cataclysm too. It should give the feeling of "You're in my world now." Cause not only feels better to play in, it also makes sense thematically. You are ripping out a plane of existence and placing it into a world where you are a God.
My clanmate is watching this to prevent them from needing to farm cryotic. Great video and honestly a decent amount of people from the clan are probably watching this!

Lastly as someone who LOVES limbo i didn’t know he has a hold function to banish but the radial banish combo i knew about. I've barely started to watch the video but... FINALLY. Finally, someone mentioned tier lists of large content creators. They're so subjective it's hard for me to watch them. Yes, every tier list is subjective but content creators' opinion is the respected one so you expect something less subjective. And yet we keep looking at "Saryn best girl ever cuz damage" and "who needs interesting gameplay when damage go brrr". And it's not just Limbo, quite a bunch of frames are forgotten or disrespected like that.
But, yeah, Limbo is the one who always gets the worst treatment despite the fact he is as good as others, he just plays differently.
Most of the large content creators are stuck on simplicity. If it's not braindead gameplay or requires too high APM then it's not good according to them. I stopped watching most of them a long time ago

I've played with good (non-troll) limbo's in defense/mining missions. The constant map-wide stuns, inability for enemies to even touch the drills/cryopod, and the free revives made me lose my mind with how many rewards we got during the mission.

1:01:19 Rapid Resilience is genius. Arson eximus were the bane of my existence. The blast knocked away my shields and the dot killed me shortly afterwards. This neuters them while giving many other benefits. Indeed very underrated.
I wish the shimmer on enemies was more noticeable. That’s literally it.

I just started experimenting with Limbo, and I love the concept. But there are a few things I’d like to see added or changed. One is a baseline thing but would probably be insanely overpowered. The other two ideas could be augment mods for Rift Surge.
Base Change: Limbo is invisible when ALONE in the rift and not in combat. That will let him just walk through spy missions or get into position, but the second he pulls an enemy into the rift to initiate combat he becomes visible across the rift again. Likewise, any ongoing source of damage Limbo or his enemies suffer will keep him visible for the duration.
Mod One: Instead of spreading Rift Surge to other enemies and forcing them into the rift, this mod would make Rift Surge do void damage in an AOE around any enemies ejected from the rift. This is a little more complex than being a fire-and-forget nuke however. First you have to pull enemies into the rift to prime them with Surge to begin with, the effect doesn’t apply when the enemy dies within the rift, and it scales based on the number of affected enemies. So, you’d still need to employ strategy and positioning to get the most out of it.
Mod Two: Cross Dimensional damage to surged targets. Once again, this disables Rift Surge being able to force targets back into the rift, so you can banish enemies, prime them with surge, and then eject them from the rift to maintain your own safety. The benefit here is any enemies affected by the new Rift Surge debuff this mod applies can be damaged by Limbo and his allies across dimensions. So, you could banish a group of enemies, surge them, then eject them from the rift where they cannot damage you, but where you can now damage them. In squad play this eliminates the dimension issue for your allies, as even if you keep enemies in the rift to lock them down with stasis your allies can still attack them through the rift so long as Rift Surge is active.

The hold banish to expel all rifted enemies was literally the piece of the puzzle I was missing, and now he feels SO MUCH BETTER holy shit.
i think the reason why limbo is so underutilized and unseen is because the meta. People wants to learn easier alternatives that form part of the damage meta because they think its worthless to learn the difficult kit of limbo instead of simply playing someone like revenant or saryn. I think in the beginning you described the warframe community perfectly on how its very lazy and uneducated, and have evolved to only care about whats actually good instead of being fun. My point is: The Meta™ doesn't matter. But it actually kills the game's fun tremendously.

As someone who is a new player in Warframe and Limbo as my first frame, The rift color hue change actually helps for me. What's not helping is the not-so-visible shimmer aura whenever I cast banish on enemies.
There were lots of instances where I completely forgot I banish an enemy that I was trying to hit. Maybe DE should improve the visibility aura shimmer when using banish so that players can quickly sort out which enemy is sent to the rift and which isn't at a quick glance.

The domain expansion + stasis combo is viable but only on non-eximus mobs (it's kinda a high risk, high reward combo with eximus units for me).
Do the combo with 3-4 eximus units, Limbo will be smoked in 30 seconds.
You can't play Limbo as somekind of soldier, you play Limbo as a magician thief or in my case, Kaito Kid from Detective Conan.
@@vanfrancisco4573 he actually can deal with eximus easily if you maintain good positioning, or (if you know the secrets like I do) utilize Vazarin Sling.

You know I have been trying to find a guide or ANYTHING! TO PLAY LIMBO. Listened to this at work last night and I'm so glad I did. I have played him off and on since his prime came out!!!
Playing Limbo makes me feel like I'm playing Chess in a Checkers tournament. My opponents don't know how to play chess, those rooting for me don't know how to play chess, and most importantly, I do not know how to play chess.
