Being highly sensitive doesn't mean that you're easily manipulated... we actually see the bs before everybody else does. That's actually a gasit statement.

We do see the bs, but the problem is we don't shut it down quickly. We think that we somehow can save people or something. We need to understand that we can't.

I'm Ray Charles to the BS, play blind and dumb I rarely react. That's what toxic people particularly narcissists want- a reaction. The more you feed into them, the more power you give them. Preserve your energies, only invest your energy to people and situations that raises your vibrations ✅

I put in my two weeks, manager turned all the staff against me. She lied and said that I couldn’t get my PTO payout and she was hounding me to do work down to the very last second of day.
I hate when people like that get away with such things especially with me being a good worker/person. It’s completely unfair!

One of the worst things to say to a child or amyone is to not be a crybaby bc this invalidates the person's emotions amd then the person can repress all their pain and the emotional pain is there still bit is not released amd suppressed emotions cause anxiety depression or anger

Thank you so much for this video. I feel so validated and I use to feel so sorry for people with the sob story. I would do anything to make them feel special and cared for because I know how it feels not to have that.
After learning the hard way, I took myself to therapy and learned how to spot the signs so people cannot manipulate me anymore. Now I use my sensitivity to detect those selfish and manipulative people.
As soon as I notice any sign of manipulation, I grey rock. I keep those people at arms length.

I have stopped smiling unnecessarily when greeting my elders when they open the door. I just greet them with a plain face because they have never smiled back at me. Now i mirror their energy.i have reduced the amounts of times i used to nod at every sentence they said. Now i just hear without any reaction or eye contact. I even look at my phone while talking to them. I also stopped asking how are you, because then they start a barrage of complaints and cribbiing about how difficult their lives are. Iam not a therapist n i dont need to hear the victim story.
