This is unlike any stand-up routine I've ever seen. Everything about it feels unscripted, totally organic, nothing but in-the-moment observation. And he never misses a beat. Such a unique talent.

it WAS unscripted. He was the only comedian I've ever seen who could get up and jokes for 90 minutes about anything that came into his head and they were all funny! I've seen this show many times and I still laughed like a loon tonight.

He had tonnes of "ad-lib" material because he stole material from other comedians. David Brenner threatened him about it and comedians used to get a special light at the Improv to let them know Robin had come in so they would stop performing. He even admitted to doing it on Marc Maron's Podcast.

Princess Diana is alive! Yes, and it’s time the world begins to awaken to this Truth and so much more. Not only is our beloved Princess still with us, but so is John F. Kennedy, Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette. There’s also a long list of celebrities and entrepreneurs including David Bowie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and Whitney Houston. So, how does one account for something as unbelievable as this? Well, each person named above, and those whose names haven’t been revealed yet, have their own story, and soon you’ll be learning about it. However, in the meantime, here’s the short version. Each one of these people, at one point, entered into a worldwide witness protection program. Wondering what these individuals needed protection from? It’s something the likes of which the average man or woman has never been confronted with. Although it may sound funny, each one of us will eventually have a role in the “Big Picture,” too. What is it? We need to respectfully listen to their stories and begin to understand the “as yet, unrecognized threat” that humanity has been living amongst. Bottom line is that we must give these brave people an opportunity to tell their stories and face head-on the Truths that we’ll be given in order to protect our families and ourselves now and forever more. Best way for us to complete our responsibility is to have unwavering faith in our Creator, God Eternal.

I keep wanting to watch the Biographics on him but I fear knowing the real pain evident in this brilliant man’s eyes. He did what a real artist is supposed to do, take their pain out and craft amazing things instead of letting it sit and fester and fester. I grew up during the 90’s when he was everywhere, Mork and Mindy was on Nick at Nite, Aladdin, Mrs Doubtfire is still a treasured movie to me, and Hook wouldn’t have been Hook without him. I tear up writing this, because people like this don’t exist anymore in this souldead world of technology today. RIP Robin ❤️

I'll say this, watch the documentary called "Robin's Wish"
It's about why he did what he did. Long story short he had something called lewybody dementia. It was eroding his brain and he was going to become a vegetable very quickly so he decided that as long as he was still able to think straight that he wanted to go out on his own terms.
The Robin we see on camera is the REAL Robin. At the end of the day it wasn't depression or mental illness that got to him it was a decease for which there is no cure. That's what all his friends and family wanted the world to know so they made Robin's Wish. It's free on youtube if you want to check it out.

How I wish this video would be digitized. I remember seeing Robin Williams on Johnny Carson. The man was a riot! I laughed untill I cried. The talent oozes from his very pores. Patch Adams is my favorite movie by him. But his list of movies, TV shows, skits, comedy specials and everything in between is unparalleled in the comedy world. He could do it all too, but his best was his movie performances. I saw a bio on him showing backstage footage. Robin couldn’t turn his genius off when not acting. But the second he was on camera, he changed to the character like snapping a finger. It was amazing to watch. His suicide crushed me, as I’m sure millions of fans felt too. But I think how lucky I was to have lived in his imaginary world, when we respected and admired actors of his caliber. Because God only makes a man like him every so often. I will always love Robin Williams. Gone but never forgotten even through the annals of time.

It's so terribly tragic that the most talented and incredible people over the years that have brought all of so much entertainment, joy, happiness, and laughter are themselves so deeply broken and miserable inside. People like John Belushi, with Robin right there with him that night he died, in fact tore Robin up so much he finally cleaned up only for suicide to claim him years later. And so many similar over the years, not just in comedy buy all entertainers. Maybe with these lights who burn so much brighter than the rest of us can manage, burn out all that much sooner, just.nothing more left to give, out of gas as it were. Anyway RIP Robin, you were greatly loved, and are greatly missed, by far more than I think you knew. I truly hope you have finally found that peace and happiness that sadly eluded you in life.

I was just thinking the same. I know I dearly miss him, and many more from comedy stand up and movies. I just really hope we don't hear the same of Jim Carrey. Hoping that man comes back better than ever. I think with fame comes disappointment just like in grade school when you crave attention that your not getting from home, you become the class clown. You want everyone to like you but not everybody does. That harsh reality of you can't please them all and being able to Define what and who matters and what or who doesn't.

Someone the people that makes us laugh the most is hiding a lot of pain inside that no one can reach. No just celebrities, but people we know and love. You can be in room full of people, making them laugh hysterically, and be the loneliest person in the who room. That's depression in a nutshell.

diffuse Lewy body dementia for him was beyond hell. To know he was going to slowly lose his mind was too much and I don't think he wanted his family to have to see it either. I'm with you all. I wish there was a cure.

@@sarakelly3214 lewy body dementia is invidious and relatively slow. At the end the person can't remember how to eat and swallow and they either choke or are on feeding tubes. Not a pleasant way to die. My dad died that way.

Robin and Carey are my two favorite comics of all time, I think it's their eccentric motion and the way they Express their words with their body.
