The way the whole flight simulation thing improved since MSFS was launched is amazing. Every tool, addon and mod is getting better. And with the help of you and other great creators you make it even better, really hope this continuous upgrade keep going.
Exactly! Not only MSFS is a far superior option than anything we had before and keeps improving with insane amounts of free updates from MS/Asobo, it also single handed re-energized the whole flight sim community with so many products trying to catch up in quality. We would all be stuck in the past without MS investing so much in our hobby. That alone is a great reason to be thankful for MSFS. Sadly, some haters and Xplane widows don't seem to realize that...

Simbrief is one of the real "Killer Applications" that changed flightsim fundamentally. In the 90s, unthinkable, very happy that we have it nowadays! The new GUI is very modern, the old one was a little dated. Good work!

looking forward to using this! A definite upgrade from the old layout, especially the ability to see this cleanly and smoothly on an IOS device as well as a second screen.
I miss the transitions. Now i still have to finalize in FS itself or in the FMC. So not handy. And the weather would be nice to see in conjunction with the planned flight (not having to add the airports again).

Hello Sir, I’m new to SimBrief. Just wandering in this flt plan sim, is there a flight log page including each individual navigation points T/O, CLIMB, TOC, CRUISE, TOD, LAND. Alternate airports like T/O alternate and Destination alternate. Passenger baggages, cargo, and freight loads. Is a selection or setting options offer to user for their own favorite settings. Fuel planning. Also, does this sim have T/O Data Card related page for all performance, weight loading, dry/wet runway T/O+ flaps settings, temperature adjustment, slop, V1 ,VR, V2, calculations of MAC. Lastly any related loading sheets(ZFW % MAC, TOW% MAC, STAB, Fuel Index Table, or that diamond shaped MLW +MZFW load and trim sheet!
Looks great! A question. When I load a saved flight, iSimbrief recalculates the scheduled flight time. I But I think that should be saved, as other parameters. The flight time derives from an airlines’ timetable and it shouldn’t be changed by Simbrief.
That's something I'd like to see changed as well, it would be nice to be able to recall a saved flight and "set it active" again, so that external programs can download its data from simbrief.
completely unrelated to this video. I swore there was a time in which loading cargo into the 737s was animated. I.E. the Pallet loader would actually show the load going into or out of the cargo loading area of the plane. Is this something that PMDG plans to bring back? Thanks!
It's nice to see that they've made it more usable. I tried the previous layout but it was a mess design-wise. This one is leaps and bounds better. UX means so much in these things.
Simbrief is not a freeware anymore as it used to be. Navigraph purchased it and runs it now. Thus while still being free to use it is technically a commercial application now. If you want to support them, buy their latest AIRAC cycle or chart package.
